The 1-Lipschitz mapping between the unit spheres of two Hilbert spaces can be extended to a real linear isometry of the whole space

Then V₀ can be extended to a real linear isometric mappingV fromE intoF. In particular, every isometric mapping fromS ₁(E) ontoS ₁(F) can be extended to a real linear isometric mapping fromE ontoF.     

Generalized G-KKM Theorems in Generalized Convex Spaces and Their Applications

Some new generalized G-KKM and generalized S-KKM theorems are proved under the noncompact setting of generalized convex spaces. As applications, some new minimax inequalities, saddle point theorems, a coincidence theorem, and a fixed point theorem are given in generalized convex spaces. These theorems improve and generalize many important known results in recent literature.     

On the Ulam stability of mixed type mappings on restricted domains

In 1941 D.H. Hyers solved the well-known Ulam stability problem for linear mappings. In 1951 D.G. Bourgin was the second author to treat the Ulam problem for additive mappings. In 1982-1998 we established the Hyers-Ulam stability for the Ulam problem of linear and nonlinear mappings. In 1983 F. Skof was the first author to solve the Ulam problem for additive mappings on a restricted domain. In 1998 S.M. Jung investigated the Hyers-Ulam stability of additive and quadratic mappings on restricted domains. In this paper we improve the bounds and thus the results obtained by S.M. Jung, in 1998. Besides we establish the Ulam stability of mixed type mappings on restricted domains. Finally, we apply our recent results to the asymptotic behavior of functional equations of different types.     

Mountain Pass Solutions for a Double-Well Energy

We establish the existence of a mountain pass solution for a variational integral involving a quasiconvex function with a double-well structure in the geometrically linear elasticity setting. We show that under small dead-load perturbations, the Neumann boundary value problem has at least three solutions, a global minimizer, a local minimizer and a mountain pass solution. We show that our variational integral satisfies a Weak Palais-Smale condition (WPS) hence the mountain pass lemma applies.

A hybrid descent method for solving a convex constrained optimization problem with applications

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a hybrid descent algorithm for finding a common point in fixed‐point sets of quasi‐nonexpansive mappings and solution sets of variational inequality problems. In the framework of Hilbert spaces, the strong convergence of the hybrid descent algorithm is established. Numerical experiments for the bandwidth allocation, which demonstrate the effectiveness, performance, and convergence of the proposed algorithm, are provided.     

覆盖近似空间的连续与同胚映射

利用一般映射研究了覆盖近似空间的一些性质,并证明了一些结论.接着定义了覆盖空间的粗糙连续映射及粗糙同胚映射.最后在覆盖粗糙连续映射和覆盖粗糙同胚映射的条件下,研究了两个覆盖近似空间的有关性质,进而在某种程度上为覆盖近似空间的分类提供了理论依据.     

渐近非膨胀映象的收敛性问题

在一致凸的Banach空间中,使用了一种新的证明方法研究了渐近非膨胀映象具误差的修正Mann和Ishikawa迭代程序的收敛性问题;并且不要求定义域和值域有界,迭代系数更为简单．     

水稻苯达松敏感致死基因bel的初步定位

选用30个SSR标记对水稻苯达松敏感致死基因（bel）进行定位研究,初步将bel基因定位于水稻第3染色体上RM5475和RM6759两个SSR标记之间,与RM5475标记的遗传距离为4．3cM,与RM6759标记的遗传距离为5．2cM。
