The crystal structure of bis(betaine)-selenic acid has been determined by X-ray diffraction as orthorhombic, space group Pbca, with a = 11.591(2), b = 22.930(5), c = 12.045(2) Å and Z = 8. The crystal comprises hydrogen selenate ions, HSeO−4, and two distinct betaine molecules, which are held together into a complex by short hydrogen bonds. One of the betaine molecules is present as the zwitterion form (CH3)3N+---CH2---COO− and the second occurs as the protonated form (CH3)3N+---CH2---COOH. Powder FTIR and Raman spectra were measured. An assignment of the observed bands to vibrations of the hydrogen bonds and internal vibrations of the hydrogen selenate ion and the betaine molecules is proposed. 相似文献

A facile and efficient method for one-pot conversion of alcohols into azides using N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)imidazole (TsIm) is described. In this method, alcohols are refluxed with a mixture of NaN3, TsIm and triethylamine in the presence of catalytic amounts of tetra-n-butylammonium iodide (TBAI) in DMF affording the corresponding alkyl azides in good yields. g, higher decomposition temperature and crystallinity. Nanoparticles formulated from MePEG–poly(CL-co-LA) (PCAE) possess spherical structure, which was characterized by dynamic light scattering (DLS) and transmission electron
microscopy (TEM). The DLS results indicate that the particle size increased with the increase of CL/LA ratio and the hydrophobic
fragment length in the copolymer. The drug encapsulation efficiency and the drug release behavior in vitro conditions of camptothecin
were measured by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The encapsulation efficiency can be achieved as high as 84.4%

Thin layers of cellulose I nanocrystals were spin-coated onto silicon wafers to give a flat model cellulose surface. A mild heat treatment was required to stabilize the cellulose layer. Interactions of this surface with polyelectrolyte layers and multilayers were probed by atomic force microscopy in water and dilute salt solutions. Deflection–distance curves for standard silicon nitride tips were measured for silicon, cellulose-coated silicon, and for polyelectrolytes adsorbed on the cellulose surface. Transfer of polymer to the tip was checked by running deflection–distance curves against clean silicon. Deflection–distance curves were relatively insensitive to adsorbed polyelectrolyte, but salt addition caused transfer of cationic polyelectrolyte to the tip, and swelling of the polyelectrolyte multilayers. 相似文献

We present solubility and diffusion data for the gases methane and carbon dioxide in the polymer poly(vinylidene fluoride). The polymer was cut from extruded piping intended for use in offshore oil and gas applications. Measurements were carried out using a purpose-built high-pressure microbalance. These properties were determined in the temperature range 80-120 °C and in the pressure range 50-150 bar for methane and 20-40 bar for carbon dioxide. In general, good agreement was obtained for similar measurements reported in the literature. Solubility follows a Henry’s law (linear) dependence with pressure. Diffusion coefficients for each of the gases in the polymer were also measured using the balance. Activation energies for diffusion and heats of solution for the two gases in the polymer were also determined. 相似文献

Studies on the complexation of copper(II) by phenolic acids, as ligand models of humic substances were done by potentiometry. The acids under study were: 3,4-dihydroxyhydrocinnamic acid or hydrocaffeic acid (1), 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (2) and 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid or protocatechuic acid (3). Acidity constants of the ligands and the formation constants of metal-ligand complexes were evaluated by computer programs. The carboxylic group of the phenolic acids has different pKa1 values, being the dissociation constants intrinsically related with the distance between the function and the aromatic nucleus. The results obtained allow concluding that acidity constants of the catechol moiety of the compounds are similar with pKa2 and pKa3 values between 9.47-9.41 and 11.55-11.70. The complexation properties of the three ligands towards copper(II) ion are quite similar, being the species found not different either in nature or stability. Although the model ligands have some structural differences no significant differences were found in their complexation properties towards copper(II). So, it can be postulated that complexation process is intrinsically related with the presence of a catechol group. 相似文献
