The walk of animals is achieved by the interaction between the dynamics of their mechanical system and the central pattern generator (CPG). In this paper, we analyze dynamic properties of a simple walking model of a biped robot driven by a rhythmic signal from an oscillator. In particular, we examine the long-term global behavior and the bifurcation of the motion that leads to chaotic motion, depending on the model parameter values. The simple model consists of a hip and two legs connected at the hip through a rotational joint. The joint is driven by a rhythmic signal from an oscillator, which is an open loop. In order to analyze the bifurcation, we first obtained approximate solutions of the walking motion and then constructed discrete dynamics using the Poincaré map. As a result, we found that consecutive period-doubling bifurcations occur as the model parameter values change, and that the walking motion leads to chaotic motion over the critical value of the model parameters. Moreover, we approximately obtained the period-doubling solutions and the critical value by employing a Newton-Raphson method. Our analytical results were verified by the numerical simulations.  相似文献

Robotic transtibial prostheses are gaining popularity, as they significantly improve amputees’ locomotion. Existing studies mainly concentrate on the importance of ankle joints in these prostheses. However, there are few studies that focus on the effects of prosthetic toe joints. Different from human feet, most prosthetic feet are single-segment structures without toe joints. In order to develop more human-like prostheses with ankle and toe joints, it is of great importance to investigate the effects of toe stiffness on ankle kinetics, as it contributes to the design and control optimizations. In this paper, we analyze the effects of toe stiffness on ankle kinetics in a robotic transtibial prosthesis we have built recently. Dynamic models of the prosthesis’ ankle and toe joints are built. The imposed plantar pressures and objective joint angles of these models are obtained from locomotion experiments on able-bodied subjects. Simulation results indicate when the toe joint is fixed, the ankle energy consumption in one gait cycle is almost 1.2 times of that when the toe joint is driven to track the able-bodied toe motion. Experiments of the prosthesis prototype are carried out on an amputee subject with a transtibial amputation. The results show that compared with the fixed toe joint either the active toe joint or the passive toe joint can reduce the ankle output moment and power consumption. This means adding a toe joint to the foot can reduce the designing requirements of the ankle joint. In addition, the active toe joint can help the prosthesis perform more human-like behaviors compared with the passive toe joint. On the other hand, the passive toe joint can simplify the prosthesis structures and reduce the total weight compared with the active toe joint.  相似文献

从智能交通系统的基本理论着手,介绍了将图像处理技术应用到智能交通系统的基本思路,并详细阐述了整个系统的算法设计。主要优势是对帧间差分法进行了改进优化,即改进的基于边缘信息的邻域帧间差分法,使得改进后的算法可以实时进行运动车辆检测,然后通过设置虚拟线来对车辆的参数进行间接的检测,最后通过LED提示行人和车辆。经实验验证改进后的算法简单方便且性能良好,能够准确的检测出运动车辆,增强了系统的可靠性。  相似文献

详细地描述了车路互联网系统的底层协议-802.11p标准。将802.11p与传统无线局域网技术进行对比,分析了802.11p在媒体接入控制层(MAC)与物理层(PHY)所做的修改,并从物理层参数、PP—DU帧结构,以及接人优先级等多方面指出了802.11p能在高速移动环境下建立稳定通信链路的原因。其次,还对802.11p所采用的频段、信道、发射功率以及频谱掩模进行分析;最后提出了802.11p在仿真方面所面临的挑战,并且在Simulink上建立了一套动态仿真系统,对标准进行仿真验证。  相似文献

Chinese ink stick has a long history and a special importance in Chinese culture. Its main components are soot (normally pine wood soot and lamp soot) and animal glue; however, additives were added from time to time for different purposes. In order to see whether the two types of soot can be differentiated and the other constituents in Chinese ink sticks can be identified or not by Pyrolysis-Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (Py-GC-MS) and GC-MS techniques, an initial study has been carried out. The main polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in soot could be identified, which are anthracene, fluoranthene, triphenylene and benz[e]acephenanthrylene. The main difference between those two types of soot is that the detectable amount of PAHs in lamp soot is much lower than in pine wood soot. In addition to this, the relative concentration of the main polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons including anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene, triphenylene and its isomer, benzo[k]fluoranthene and its isomers are different in the two types of soot. The relative content of benzo[k]fluoranthene is higher in pine soot than in lamp soot, which could be used to as a criterion to differentiate the two types of soot. Py-GC-MS technique is a very effective method to identify the main components of Chinese ink sticks, including the PAHs of soot, binding media and the additives of camphor and borneol in one analysis.  相似文献
