In this paper, we prove the possibility of optimization of some free parameters of Meixner-like discrete-time linear filters using orthonormal basis functions (OBF) in an analytical way. Since the z-transform of the Meixner filters is impossible and it is possible for Meixner-like filters, we are motivated to study closely the optimization of the Meixner-like's pole. As a result, the differential equation associated with Meixner-like filters has been developed. On the other hand, the effective width of the energy distribution in the transformation domain is a function of the free parameter (Meixner-like pole) and simple signal measurements and can be calculated by the second-order moment. Analytic minimization of the second-order moment gives an optimal value of the free parameter. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, numerical results are used to determine the free parameters. 相似文献

A fluorescent probe HCAB based on twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) mechanism has been designed and synthesized by introducing benzoyl moiety to 4-dimethylamino-2′-hydroxychalcone. HCAB showed excellent selectivity towards human serum albumin (HSA) among different proteins with a remarkable 160-fold fluorescence enhancement and a wider linear range 0–100?mg/L of HSA. Job’s Plot analysis suggested that the formation of HCAB-HSA complex followed a 1:1 stoichiometry. Molecular docking and the displacement assay demonstrated the binding site of HCAB was subdomain IIA and IB of HSA. We also tested HSA levels in human plasma for practical application, the results obtained from HCAB method were similar to those obtained from the standard clinical method. 相似文献

Propolis is a bee product with several biological properties. This study aimed at investigating a propolis-containing mouthwash, its organoleptic properties, microbial contamination and its antibacterial action in vitro. This mouthwash was assessed in vivo to control dental plaque in humans. The presence of microorganisms was analyzed and the minimum inhibitory concentration against Streptococcus mutans was determined. A comparative study was done in vivo using propolis, chlorhexidine, and propolis plus chlorhexidine in lower concentrations for 14 days. Dental plaque was analyzed by the Patient Hygiene Performance (PHP) index. The odontological product was yellow, cloudy, free of microbial contamination, and exerted an inhibitory action in vitro. Individuals who used a propolis-containing mouthwash for 14 consecutive days in combination or not to chlorhexidine showed a similar PHP index to chlorhexidine alone. The product exerted an antibacterial action in vitro and in vivo, exhibiting a positive action in the control of dental plaque. 相似文献

The rapid emergence of antimalarial drug resistance necessitates a continual effort on novel drug discovery. A cyanobacterium, Spirulina platensis, is a potential antimalarial agent that has been widely consumed as food supplement in the form of crude extract. It is known to possess antiviral, antibacterial and antifungi activities. This study examined the antimalarial activities of several Spirulina formulas against Plasmodium falciparum 3D7, in vitro. The tested Spirulina formulas included commercially available capsule, crude extract and alkaloid fraction. Results showed that all tested formula possessed antimalarial activities with the Spirulina capsule exhibited the highest activities (IC50 = 2.16 μg/mL). Light and electron microscopies revealed interference of the Spirulina with the parasite hemozoin formation. In conclusion, all tested Spirulina formulas and fraction exhibited moderate to high antimalarial activities. 相似文献

Cancer stem cells (CSCs) have been shown to be refractory to conventional therapeutic agents, can promote metastasis, and have been linked to cancer relapse. Salinomycin can selectively kill CSCs. We have shown that salinomycin derivatives accumulate in lysosomes and sequester iron in this organelle. As a result, accumulation of iron leads to the production of reactive oxygen species and lysosomal membrane permeabilization, which in turn promotes cell death by ferroptosis. These findings have revealed the prevalence of iron homeostasis in CSCs and paved the way toward the development of next-generation therapeutics. 相似文献

The fluorescence quenching of Rhodamine 6G (R6G) by graphene oxide (GO) was interrogated by R6G fluorescence measurements using a set of controlled GO samples with varied C/O ratios as the quencher.The carbonyl groups on the GO nanosheet turned to play a dominant role in quenching the R6G fluorescence.The quenching in the static regime can be described by the "sphere of action" model.The significant absorption of the R6G fluorescence by the ground-state complex formed between R6G and GO was identified to be responsible for the static quenching.This work offers helpful insights into the fluorescence quenching mechanisms in the R6G/GO system. 相似文献

The notion of globally irreducible representations of finite groups has been introduced by B. H. Gross, in order to explain new series of Euclidean lattices discovered recently by N. Elkies and T. Shioda using Mordell--Weil lattices of elliptic curves. In this paper we first give a necessary condition for global irreducibility. Then we classify all globally irreducible representations of L
2(q) and 2B2(q), and of the majority of the 26 sporadic finite simple groups. We also exhibit one more globally irreducible representation, which is related to the Weil representation of degree (pn-1)/2 of the symplectic group Sp2n(p) (p 1 (mod 4) is a prime). This work is directed towards the open question of the faithfulness of the reduced Gassner representation of the pure braid group, . Long and Paton proved that if a Burau matrix has ones on the diagonal and zeros below the diagonal then is the identity matrix. In this paper, a generalization of Long and Paton's result will be proved. Our main theorem is that if the trace of the image of an element of under the reduced Gassner representation is , then this element lies in the kernel of this representation. Then, as a corollary, we prove that an analogue of the main theorem holds true for the Burau representation of the braid group.
