Reactive flow simulations using large-eddy simulations (LES) require modelling of sub-filter fluctuations. Although conserved scalars like mixture fraction can be represented using a beta-function, the reactive scalar probability density function (PDF) does not follow an universal shape. A one-point one-time joint composition PDF transport equation can be used to describe the evolution of the scalar PDF. The high-dimensional nature of this PDF transport equation requires the use of a statistical ensemble of notional particles and is directly coupled to the LES flow solver. However, the large grid sizes used in LES simulations will make such Lagrangian simulations computationally intractable. Here we propose the use of a Eulerian version of the transported-PDF scheme for simulating turbulent reactive flows. The direct quadrature method of moments (DQMOM) uses scalar-type equations with appropriate source terms to evolve the sub-filter PDF in terms of a finite number of delta-functions. Each delta-peak is characterized by a location and weight that are obtained from individual transport equations. To illustrate the feasibility of the scheme, we compare the model against a particle-based Lagrangian scheme and a presumed PDF model for the evolution of the mixture fraction PDF. All these models are applied to an experimental bluff-body flame and the simulated scalar and flow fields are compared with experimental data. The DQMOM model results show good agreement with the experimental data as well as the other sub-filter models used.  相似文献

An accurate and efficient differential quadraturetime element method(DQTEM) is proposed for solving ordinary differential equations(ODEs),the numerical dissipationand dispersion of DQTEM is much smaller than that of thedirect integration method of single/multi steps.Two methodsof imposing initial conditions are given,which avoids thetediousness when derivative initial conditions are imposed,and the numerical comparisons indicate that the first method,in which the analog equations of initial displacements andvelocities are used to directly replace the differential quadrature(DQ) analog equations of ODEs at the first and the lastsampling points,respectively,is much more accurate thanthe second method,in which the DQ analog equations ofinitial conditions are used to directly replace the DQ analogequations of ODEs at the first two sampling points.On thecontrary to the conventional step-by-step direct integrationschemes,the solutions at all sampling points can be obtainedsimultaneously by DQTEM,and generally,one differentialquadrature time element may be enough for the whole timedomain.Extensive numerical comparisons validate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.  相似文献

准确、快速的状态估计是保证多机器人顺利完成协作搬运任务的关键.然而,大部分现有多机器人协同定位方法都存在一定的局限性,往往无法同时兼顾定位精度与计算复杂度.因此,本文从协作搬运任务的特点出发,将距离与方位的刚性约束条件引入协同定位中,同时根据机器人之间的紧密耦合关系建立起通用有效的运动模型和量测模型.最终在此刚性约束系统建模的基础上,提出一种基于高斯-厄米特求积分卡尔曼滤波(Quadrature Kalman Filter,QKF)的双移动机器人协同定位方法.仿真实验结果表明:与基于无约束模型的QKF协同定位方法相比,本文所提方法不但具有更高的定位精度,而且计算复杂度大大降低,有助于实现多机器人实时协同定位.  相似文献

 This article presents a numerical quadrature intended primarily for evaluating integrals in quantum chemistry programs based on molecular orbital theory, in particular density functional methods. Typically, many integrals must be computed. They are divided up into different classes, on the basis of the required accuracy and spatial extent. Ideally, each batch should be integrated using the minimal set of integration points that at the same time guarantees the required precision. Currently used quadrature schemes are far from optimal in this sense, and we are now developing new algorithms. They are designed to be flexible, such that given the range of functions to be integrated, and the required precision, the integration is performed as economically as possible with error bounds within specification. A standard approach is to partition space into a set of regions, where each region is integrated using a spherically polar grid. This article presents a radial quadrature which allows error control, uniform error distribution and uniform error reduction with increased number of radial grid points. A relative error less than 10−14 for all s-type Gaussian integrands with an exponent range of 14 orders of magnitude is achieved with about 200 grid points. Higher angular l quantum numbers, lower precision or narrower exponent ranges require fewer points. The quadrature also allows controlled pruning of the angular grid in the vicinity of the nuclei. The differential quadrature method (DQM) has been studied for years and it has been shown by many researchers that the DQM is an attractive numerical method with high efficiency and accuracy. The conventional DQM is mostly effective for one‐dimensional and multidimensional problems with geometrically regular domains. But to deal with problems on a triangular domain, we will meet difficulties. In this paper we introduce the notion of multivalued analytic continuation of the Cauchy transforms. Many difficulties arise because the continuation is not single-valued. Our main result asserts that if χΩ has a multivalued analytic continuation, then the free boundary ∂Ω has zero Lebesgue measure. Here χΩ is the characteristic function of a domain Ω and ∂Ω is its boundary. We also discuss the connections between this notion, quadrature domains and approximations of analytic functions with single-valued integrals by rational functions. The last problem is related to the existence of a continuous function g and a closed connected set K such that the gradient of g vanishes on K, nevertheless g is not constant on K.
