Chemical modification on the stereo‐regular poly(styrene‐co‐4‐methylstyrene) (sPS‐PMS) was attempted in this study. Metallocene copolymerization of styrene (St) and 4‐methylstyrene (MSt) was performed by using η5‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl‐titanium(IV)tributoxide (Cp*Ti(OBu)3)/methylaluminoxane (MAO)/tri‐iso‐butylaluminum (TIBA) catalyst in the bulk state. Cobalt(II) catalyst was then applied to oxidize the benzylic methyl group on the MSt units of the resulting sPS‐PMS copolymer. Both aldehyde and carboxylic acid in the oxidized products were resolved by the FTIR and 1H NMR. The oxidized sPS‐PMSs exhibit a low and a high‐temperature Tg and Tm corresponding to the transitions in the amorphous and the crystalline regions. Hydrogen‐bond and polar interactions between the aldehyde and carboxylic acids tend to interrupt the regular chain packing of the oxidized sPS‐PMS, resulting in the lowering of Tm with oxidation level. The oxidized sPS‐PMS showed better adhesion to glass fiber than pure sPS‐PMS copolymer as evaluated from the respective SEM fractured micrographs. 相似文献
A novel catalyst PWAA, an assembled complex of phosphotungstic acid (H3PW12O40) and a non-cross-linked copolymer of N-isopropylacrylamide with an ammonium, was developed. It is an amphiphilic, cross-linked, and supramolecular insoluble complex and showed catalytic activity on oxidation with aqueous hydrogen peroxide. PWAA, used in 2.7×10−5-2.0×10−3 mol equiv., catalyzed oxidation of allylic alcohols, amines, and sulfides efficiently. The turnover number (TON) of PWAA reached up to 35,000. PWAA showed a good stability in organic/aqueous media and was reused three to five times. 相似文献
A fluorous-tagged TEMPO radical has been prepared and its catalytic activity in the chemoselective oxidation of alcohols to carbonyl compounds has been investigated. The new fluorous radical proved to be an efficient, selective and easily recoverable catalyst, which can be conveniently used in standard organic solvents and then isolated and recycled by fluorous liquid-liquid extraction. 相似文献
Hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene/isophorone diisocyanate (HTPB/IPDI) polyurethane rubber which was aged in air at elevated temperatures has been studied by infrared microspectroscopy. Spectra were collected in transmission mode on microtomed samples. Analysis of sets of spectra taken across the sectioned material showed that most of the degradation occurred in the polybutadiene part of the polymer and that the urethane linkage was essentially unchanged. The trans isomer of the polybutadiene appears to be preferentially degraded compared with the vinyl isomer. The IR technique does not provide significant information about the cis isomer. The IR spectra indicated that likely degradation products included acids, esters, alcohols, and small amounts of other products containing a carbonyl functional group. Band area ratios, supported by a principal components analysis, were used to derive degradation profiles for the material. These profiles were steep-sided indicating an oxygen diffusion limited process. 相似文献
Conversion of sulphur compounds in reduced, contaminated sediments that are brought in upland conditions may largely affect the potential mobility of heavy metal contaminants. We applied selected methods for the determination of total sulphur and sulphur fractions in a contaminated sediment in the reduced state and after gradual drying and oxidation during 1 month. Dry ashing, followed by ion chromatographic detection, was reliable for the determination of total sulphur. Good recoveries were obtained in both reference samples and spiked samples. Total sulphur was 14.5±0.6 g kg−1 relative to dry sediment. Wet chemical methods that involve the determination of acid-volatile, Zn–HCl-reducible, chromium-reducible, acetone-soluble and HI-reducible sulphur were used to estimate specific sulphur forms. Results for acetone-soluble sulphur were to high and not consistent with results for other fractions. Major part of sulphur in the sediment (90%) was inorganic. Sulphides were converted partially to sulphate and to intermediary oxidised sulphur compounds upon oxidation of the sediment. The results suggested that the intermediary oxidised sulphur pool in the reduced sediment (2.5 g kg−1) mainly consisted of pyrite, that was not converted during drying and oxidation. The reaction between the new hydroxy compound [PPh4][Ru(N)(OH)2Me2] and Pd(OSiMe3)2((−)-sparteine) produces (Me3Si)2O, H2O and a new heterobimetallic compound [PPh4][Ru(N)Me2(μ2-O)2Pd((−)-sparteine)] in good yield. The Ru/Pd bimetallic compound catalyzes the oxidation of aryl and allyl alcohols to the corresponding carbonyl compound in air and the rearrangement of allylic alcohols unsaturated aldehydes. A complete electrochemical study and a novel electroanalytical procedure for bromhexine quantitation are described. Bromhexine in methanol/0.1 mol L−1 Britton–Robinson buffer solution (2.5/97.5) shows an anodic response on glassy carbon electrode between pH 2 and 7.5. By DPV and CV, both peak potential and current peak values were pH-dependent in all the pH range studied. A break at pH 5.5 in EP versus pH plot revealing a protonation–deprotonation (pKa) equilibrium of bromhexine was observed. Spectrophotometrically, an apparent pKa value of 4.3 was also determined.
An electrodic mechanism involving the oxidation of bromhexine via two-electrons and two-protons was proposed. Controlled potential electrolysis followed by HPLC–UV and GC–MS permitted the identification of three oxidation products: N-methylcyclohexanamine, 2-amino-3,5-dibromobenzaldehyde and 2,4,8,10-tetrabromo dibenzo[b,f][1,5] diazocine.
DPV at pH 2 was selected as optimal pH for analytical purposes. Repeatability, reproducibility and selectivity parameters were adequate to quantify bromhexine in pharmaceutical forms. The recovery was 94.50 ± 2.03% and the detection and quantitation limits were 1.4 × 10−5 and 1.6 × 10−5 mol L−1, respectively. Furthermore, the DPV method was applied successfully to individual tablet assay in order to verify the uniformity content of bromhexine. No special treatment of sample were required due to excipients do not interfered with the analytical signal. Finally the method was not time-consuming and less expensive than the HPLC one. 相似文献

A tetracoordinate 1,2-iodoxetane was prepared by the fluorination of a tricoordinate 1,2-iodoxetane with xenon difluoride followed by hydrolysis. The tetracoordinate 1,2-iodoxetane oxidized alcohols and a sulfide to the corresponding aldehydes and ketones, and a sulfoxide, respectively, in good to moderate yields under mild conditions. 相似文献
