The motivations to realize nuclear breeder reactors are developed in the present context of a strong growth in electronuclear power stations in many countries, using mostly moderated and water cooled reactors.The past studies can be of a substantial profit in France and, to a lesser degree, in other countries of the EU. However, to use fully the 238 uranium isotope, the materials for these breeders must withstand much harder radiation than those for water reactors. The power densities and thermal gradients will also be much more intense. The mechanical stresses, both static and dynamic, will be large and will act on materials with altered mechanical properties. Fuel elements will have to be produced with materials already irradiated several times and therefore showing such alterations.A field of studies concerning materials and their mechanical behavior in new and severe conditions is sketched here, both in construction and working conditions, together with proposed necessary instrumentation and research orientations. 相似文献

The design, synthesis, and use of two new, stable, functionalized chain transfer agents (CTA's) containing OH and amine end groups for the RAFT polymerization is reported: 2‐hydroxyethoxy‐carbonylphenylmethyl dithiobenzoate and 2‐(2‐(tert‐butoxycarbonyl)ethylamino)‐2‐oxo‐1‐phenylethyl benzodithioate, respectively. The RAFT polymerization of n‐hexyl acrylate (HA) using those CTA's, were compared to several other functionalized dithiobenzoate esters reported in the literature containing COOH and Ester groups. The performances of the dithiobenzoates were compared in terms of kinetics and molecular weight distribution control. Good control in polymerization of n‐hexyl acrylate with a linear increase of Mn with conversion mantaining polydispersity indices (PDI) below 1.1 was obtained by use of the new functionalized CTA's developed and also by use of some other CTA's tested, to produce well‐defined linear polymers with one specific chain‐end functionality: ? OH, ? COOH or Amine. Using a postpolymerization reaction with functionalized azocompounds in a 5 to 1 ratio, α,ω‐telechelic polymers, with ? OH or ? COOH as functional group at the second end were obtained. By using this synthetic strategy α,ω‐homotelechelic and heterotelechelic polymers were readily prepared. Alsophila spinulosa is a tree-like fern, and many evidences suggested that plant polyphenols had the potential therapeutic for Alzheimer s disease (AD). Herein, polyphenols (ASP) was isolated from A. spinulosa leaves and its major constituent were isoorientin and vitexin. ASP displayed excellent antioxidant activity and obvious anti-lipid peroxidation capacity in vitro. ASP improved the survival rate of C. elegans under high temperature by enhancing the antioxidant enzymes activities and decreasing the lipid peroxidation level. Moreover, ASP alleviated β-amyloid (Aβ) induced paralysis and reduced Aβ deposition, decreased reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and improved the level of skn-1 mRNA. In addition, ASP decreased the levels of pdk-1 and akt-1 mRNA in P13K/AKT signaling pathway. In conclusion, ASP may be a potential ingredient for the alleviation of AD. 相似文献

Treatment of1 b with 80% acetic acid and acetanhydride/pyridine yields the 8-epi-N-acetylneuraminic acid derivative2 a and the 7-epi-N-acetylneuraminic acid derivative3 a in a ratio of 3:1 (Scheme 1). The structure elucidation of2 b was achieved by converting2 b via the 4,9-bis-O-(tBDMSi)-8-O-tosyl-derivative2 d into the epoxide1 (Scheme 2). Using the same sequence the epoxides4 and5 were transformed into theN-acetylneuraminic acid derivative6 a and the 7,8-bis-epi-N-acetylneuraminic acid derivative7 a (Scheme 3). After treatment with sodium hydroxide and 0.025m HCl and Dowex 50 H+ the 8-epi-, 7-epi- and 7,8-bis-epi-N-acetylneuraminic acids2,3, and7 were obtained. Metal nanoparticles are nanosized structures that have different potential applications in biological, chemical, medical, and agricultural fields because of their exotic characteristics. Their size ranges from 1 to 100 nm. Metal nanoparticles are either purer forms of metals (eg: Gold, Silver, Copper, Iron, etc.) or their compounds (eg: sulfides, hydroxides, oxides, etc.). Ionic liquids are generally used in the extraction of nanoparticles but they are challenging because of their indigent bio-degradability, bio-compatibility, and sustainability. So Deep Eutectic Solvent (DES) is reported as an alternative to ionic liquids in the formation of nanoparticles. The DESs are a complex of quaternary ammonium salts and hydrogen donors or metal salt. DESs contain higher non-symmetric ions which have lower lattice energy and hence they have a lower melting point. This research utilizes a novel DES (choline chloride – urea) as an effective solvent to produce mercuric sulfide (HgS), zirconium oxide (ZrO), manganese oxide (MnO), and copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles. As a result, the production of these metal nanoparticles using Choline Chloride (C5H14ClNO) – Urea DES can be treated as a promising way in chemical manufacturing. developed. Glycine, glycylglycine, triglycine, glutathione, glutamic acid, and cysteine were separated on a reversed-phase
C18 column with methanol-water-triethylamine eluent, derivatization and chromatographic conditions were optimized. The six derivatives
were eluted in 20 min with good reproducibility. The relative standard derviations (n=6) at an analytical concentration of
