A localized stress relaxation technique is described suitable for testing miniature structures and components. The actual size of the area that can be tested depends on the size of the indenter and the sensitivity of the load measurement device. However, the indenter should not be so small that macroscopic theory of deformation cannot be used. The technique described includes a quantitative treatment of the data which can be handled by a computer. Extensive data collection can be made so that many deformation parameters can be examined by using this simple test.  相似文献

A survey in the form of a review of the author’s research results in the area of dynamics of coupled rotations and coupled systems is presented. The theorem on the existence of a trigger of the coupled singularities and the separatrix in the form of the number eight is presented with a few examples of coupled rotations of the simple systems with debalances. Also, a survey of models and dynamics of coupled systems composed of a number of deformable bodies (plates, beams or belts) with different properties of materials and discrete layer properties is presented and mathematically described. The constitutive stress–strain relations for materials of the coupled sandwich structure elements are presented for different properties: elastic, viscoelastic and creeping. The characteristic modes of the coupled system vibrations are obtained and analyzed for different kinds of materials and structure composition. The visualization of the characteristic numbers and modes and eigenamplitude forms are presented. Structural analysis of sandwich structure vibrations is done.  相似文献

The results obtained in investigating the creep of expanded polystyrene (EPS) boards under compressive stress are presented. Power and exponential equations were used for describing creep compliance. It was found that the curves of creep compliance approximated by both equations adequately represent the research results, taking into account the scatter of the experimental data. Based on the calculation and empirical estimate of long-term creep of EPS under compressive stress σc=(0.25–0.45)σ10%, its creep compliance was determined for a period of 10 years in the future. The dependence of on the density of polystyrene boards and the value of long-term compressive stress σc was established. The expected values of creep strain development in expanded polystyrene boards EPS 80–EPS 250 under constant compressive stress σc=(0.25–0.45)σ10% are presented for the prediction period of 10 years. To obtain the expected creep values for any other period of time in the interval of 5T50 years, the values of should be multiplied by the empirical coefficient .  相似文献

This paper deals with the characterization of creep properties and recoverability of double-wall corrugated paperboard with A and B flutes at different combined conditions of the ambient temperature 20°C with four kinds of relative humidities and five kinds of constant compression loads. The main feature of this paper is the evaluation on the creep properties and recoverability of double-wall corrugated paperboard with A and B flutes by a series of experimental studies on creep testing apparatus, the analysis of effects of relative humidities and constant compression loads on creep properties and recoverability, and the establishment of mathematical model of creep and time curves. By using Method of the Least Square and Method of Nonlinear Regression, the piecewise experimental formulas of creep and time curves have been obtained. The work provides basic data and introduces important mathematical relationships relevant to design applications for protective packaging for transportation and storage of goods.  相似文献

In view of the need for a lead-free, drop-in replacement for the widely used 40Pb-60Sn near-eutectic solder (m.p. ~183°C), new Sn-Zn-ln based alloys with substantially the same melting point have been developed. It is shown that the alloying additions of In to the Sn-Zn binary system result in a suppression of the melting point to 175-188°C, and at the same time significantly improve the wetting characteristics. While a relatively active flux may be required for good solderability in air atmosphere, the recent manufacturing trend of using inert atmospheres is likely to allow acceptable manufacturability using less active fluxes in the future.  相似文献

基于α-和β-微区、微晶、交联和缠结链组网络结构和非线性粘弹性复相涨落模型,提出了双重(物理和力学)老化下不同尺寸和末端向量高分子链组的流动化微区内关联性局部化重排动力学新理论,它能把初级α-微区的降解作用和次级β-微区的再生效应对剪切速率、尺寸大小和温度依赖性有机结合起来.然后用统计力学和动力学结合法计算了三种不同类型高聚物在等温等压双重老化过程中多元链组的总构象改变自由能,证实了它起源于多元链组的尺寸大小、形状和体积的变化.推导出了它们单向拉伸下的本构方程、应力松弛模量和蠕变柔量表征式以及它们相对应的两组对比态普适方程.结果表明该两组对比态下应力松弛模量和蠕变柔量普适方程均具有同K-W-W伸展指数函数完全一致的形式.最终又建立了该两组对比态普适方程中三个分子参数同老化条件、温度和高聚物起始结构之间的相关性.  相似文献

We have studied the field-driven motion of a pair of coupled Bloch domain walls in a perpendicular magnetic anisotropy Pt/Co/Pt/Co/Pt multilayer Hall bar. The nucleation of an isolated but coincident pair of walls in the two Co layers, observed by Kerr microscopy, took place at an artificial nucleation site created by Ga+ ion irradiation. The average velocity v of the wall motion was calculated from time-resolved magnetotransport measurements at fixed driving field H, where the influence of the extraordinary Hall effect leads to the observation of voltages at the longitudinal resistance probes. We observed a good fit to the scaling relation lnvH−1/4, consistent the motion of a single 1-dimensional wall moving in a 2-dimensional disordered medium in the creep regime: the two walls are coupled together into a 1-dimensional composite object.  相似文献

We consider numerically the depinning transition in the random-field Ising model. Our analysis reveals that the three and four dimensional model displays a simple scaling behavior whereas the five dimensional scaling behavior is affected by logarithmic corrections. This suggests that d = 5 is the upper critical dimension of the depinning transition in the random-field Ising model. Furthermore, we investigate the so-called creep regime (small driving fields and temperatures) where the interface velocity is given by an Arrhenius law.  相似文献

Short-term tension creep and thermal cycles under compressive stress were performed on Ti46Al8Nb1B in order to explore the dynamic recrystallization (DRX) grains formed during the creep and the impact of thermal cycles under stress to the DRX. After 1600 times' thermal cycles from 300 degrees C to 800 degrees C under 300 MPa compressive stress, high density of ledges and thick ledges are found in the interfaces. Two kinds of moiré fringes, instead of 9R structure, can be found in the thick ledges. Ti46Al8Nb1B sample and another sample which was treated by thermal cycles with stress were crept under 300 MPa compressive stress at 800 degrees C. DRX grains are found in the interfaces in those samples. Those grains, formed at the ledges, have an orientation relationship of [101](gamma)//[011](gammaR), (1 1 1)(gamma)//(1 11 )(gammaR) with the matrix of gamma phases. Thermal cycles with stress could lead to more DRX grains during creep.  相似文献

The creep behavior of PMMA immersed in liquid scintillator at room temperature was experimentally studied with a new type of creep test machine. Both short-term and creep-rupture tensile tests at eight stress levels were performed. A master curve of creep compliance at a reference stress was obtained according to the Time-Stress Superposition Principle. The master curve was compared with the actual long-term creep curve. It demonstrates that the two curves coincide well at short times. However, the actual creep data shows a higher creep rate as time goes on. The actual lifetime is much shorter than that predicted by the master curve. Furthermore, the relationship between long-term creep limited strength and service life was determined. The results can be used to guide the safety design of PMMA vessels for application in a neutrino observatory.  相似文献
