This study reports the spatial distribution pattern and degree of heavy metal pollution (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Mn, Be, Co, Zn and U) in 169 urban road dust samples from urban area of Urumqi city. The spatial distribution pattern shows that Cu, Pb, Cr and Zn have similar patterns of spatial distribution. Their hot-spot areas were mainly associated with main roads where high traffic density was identified. Ni and Mn show similar spatial distributions coinciding with the industrial areas, while the spatial distribution patterns of Co and U show hot-spot areas were mainly located in the sides of the urban area where the road dust was significantly influenced by natural soils. The spatial distributions of Be and Cd were very different from other metals. The geo-accumulation index suggests that road dust in Urumqi city was uncontaminated to moderately contaminated with Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb, Mn, Be, Zn and U. The integrated pollution index shows IPIs of all road dust samples were higher than 1, suggesting that the road dust quality of Urumqi city has clearly been polluted by anthropogenic emission of heavy metals. Moreover, the spatial distribution pattern of IPIs also shows several distribution trends in the studied region.  相似文献

A passive sampler (Chemcatcher) consisting of a 47 mm Empore™ chelating disk (CHE) with iminodiacetic groups as the receiving phase overlaid with a diffusion membrane was developed and calibrated for the monitoring of Hg in water. Three different diffusion membranes including cellulose acetate (CA), polyethersulphone (PS) and cellulose dialysis membrane (D) were tested. The best performance was obtained with the CHE-PS tandem. The effective sampling rate of the device (Rs, L day−1) is defined as the equivalent volume of water extracted per unit time, and is analyte specific and can be determined experimentally in a flow-through tank. Effects of water temperature and turbulence on the uptake rate of Hg were assessed under controlled laboratory conditions. Sampling rates were in the range of 0.029-0.091 L day−1. An increase in sampling rate with turbulence was demonstrated. The detection limit of the sampler obtained in flowing waters ranged between 2.2 and 2.9 ng L−1 Hg. The performance of Chemcatcher was tested alongside spot water sampling in a 14-day field deployment at two locations on the Valdeazogues River, Almadén, Spain. In general, the Hg concentration estimated by the Chemcatcher was lower than that found in spot water samples collected over the same period. This may be explained by the behaviour of this sampler that measures only the labile fraction of Hg in water, and this will exclude some species. However, Chemcatcher preconcentrates Hg allowing its determination in some places where its concentration is below the detection limit of spot sampling.  相似文献

The aim of this study was the evaluation of the trace element contamination level in sediments of the most important rivers in Serbia and their tributaries. The determination of the aqua regia soluble contents of 12 micro- and macro-elements (Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Pb, Ni, Zn, Be and V) in sediments was developed by the microwave digestion technique combined with inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. Correlation analysis and principal component analysis distinguishes factors of lithogenic and anthropogenic origins. The Fe, Mn, Be and V contents are controlled by a regional lithogenic high background factor, while Cd, Cr, Pb, Ni, Zn and Cu are recognized as tracer of pollution. For Co, mixed sources from both lithogenic and anthropogenic inputs were evidenced.The investigated sediment of the major rivers and their tributaries in Serbia showed high concentrations of metals, especially of Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn, which may cause serious environmental impacts. Rivers which flow into the Danube from its entrance into Serbia significantly influence the chemical load of the water and sediments.The experimental study was conducted using two BCR standard reference materials. The calculated accuracy and precision confirmed the good performance of the adopted procedures.  相似文献

A model of the interaction between the precision of an isotope ion signal measurement and the accuracy of an isotope ratio determination was developed and used to derive the equations required to calculate the maximum tolerable amount of contamination for stable isotope ratio determinations. Comparison of the calculated tolerance limits and the blank estimated amount of contaminant will establish whether or not a correction for the contribution of the contaminant to the gross signals will be required. The 1000:1 sample-to-contaminant concentration tolerance limit used in stable isotope ratio plasma mass spectrometry will, in some situations, underestimate the contamination error compared to the model calculations.Derivation of the limit equations required an empirically determined relation between the signal strength and the signal's relative standard deviation (signal noise function). A single hyperbolic signal noise function was used to describe the behaviour of isotope ion signals of Ni, Cu, Tl and Pb measured using a plasma source double focusing magnetic sector mass spectrometer. The derivation could be extended to accommodate different signal noise functions.  相似文献

 在熔石英元件表面溅射一层厚度小于10 nm的金属铜膜污染物,并测试元件的透过率。测试355 nm熔石英元件的激光损伤阈值,并用光学显微镜观测损伤形态。实验结果表明:污染后的熔石英元件的损伤阈值降低20%左右,元件表面的金属污染物薄膜经强激光辐照,在熔石英表面形成很多坑状微损伤,分布不均的热应力导致表面起伏,并有明显的烧蚀现象,导致基底损伤阈值下降。建立的光吸收和热沉积传输模型初步解释污染物膜层导致熔石英元件损伤的机理。  相似文献
