Four novel lanthanide coordination polymers [Pr(mal)(OH)(bipy) · 2H2O]n (1), {[Dy1(SBA)3(H2O)2][Dy2(SBA)3(H2O)2] · 4H2O}n (2), {[Tb(OHnic)(Onic)(H2O)5 · (OHnicH)] · H2O}n (3) and {[Sm(OHnic)(Onic)(H2O)5 · (OHnicH)] · H2O}n (4) (Hmal = maleic acid, HSBA = 4-sulfobenzoic acid, OHnicH = 6-hydroxynicotinic acid and bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine) have been synthesized and determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is a 1-D helical chain with seven-coordinated praseodymium centers. Complex 2 forms 1-D chain-like molecular structure containing two crystallographically unique dysprosium centers, the Dy1 center is seven-coordinated while Dy2 is eight-coordinated. The isomorphous complexes 3 and 4 exhibit an unprecedented 1-D chain-like polymeric structure through hydroxyl oxygen atoms of bridging Onic2− anions linking up the neighboring central ions, and there exist three types of 6-OHnicH ligands in the structural unit which is rare for lanthanide carboxylate complexes. The photophysical properties of these complexes were studied using ultraviolet absorption spectra, fluorescence excitation and emission spectra.  相似文献

Montmorillonite(MMT) modified with sodium silicate can change the arrangement of its layers fromedge-face and edge-edge to face-face. With the fine dispersion of the modified MMT in water, the cation-ex-change reaction was carried out with cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) to obtain organo-montmoril-lonite (OMMT). As OMMT was uniformly dispersed in methyl methacrylate (MMA) monomer, PMMA/OMMT nanocomposites were formed via a common emulsion polymerization. The products were extractedwith hot acetone and characterized by FTIR, molecular weight, X-ray diffraction(XRD), transmission elec-tron microscopy(TEM), DSC and TGA. These results show that most of the OMMT layers have been exfo-liated, while the thermal stability is increased obviously. By means of FTIR spectral analysis, the ratios ofthe macromolecular radicals‘ termination of disproportionation patterns to combination are increased with theaddition of OMMT. This result further confirms the increase of the thermal degradation temperatures andglass transition temperatures of the PMMA/OMMT nanocomposites.  相似文献

Palladium(II)and chloride ions tend to form complexes in aqueous solution.Both theoretical and experimental(by UV spectrum)results indicate that there are four complexes formed in aqueous solution containing 3 mol/L hydrochloric acid and 20mmol/L PdCl2.This work evaluates the kinetics of electrochemical deposition of palladium on a Platinum electrode.For this purpose,palladium electrodeposition was investigated by means of cyclic voltammetry(CV),potentiostatic current-time transients(CTTs)and Tafel curve.By CTTs curves,the regions corresponding to the charge transfer control,mixed control and diffusion control were identified.In the diffusion control region,palladium electrodeposition mechanism was characterized as progressive nucleation with three-dimensional(3D)growth under diffusion control;as for the mixed control region,an adsorption(IAds),ion transfer(IIT),and nucleation and growth(ING)model were proposed to analyze the current-time transients quantitatively,which could separate the IAds,IIT and ING perfectly.  相似文献

Birefringent materials, which can modulate the polarization of light, are almost exclusively limited to oxides. Peroxides have long been overlooked as birefringent materials, because they are usually not stable in air. Now, the first peroxide birefringent material Rb2VO(O2)2F is reported, the single crystals of which keep transparency after being exposed in the air for two weeks. Interestingly, Rb2VO(O2)2F does not feature an optimal anisotropic structure, but its birefringence (Δn=0.189 at 546 nm) exceeds those of the majority of oxides. According to the first‐principles calculations, this exceptional birefringence should be attributed to the strong electronic interactions between localized π orbital of O22? anions and V5+ 3d orbitals, which may be also favorable to the stability in the air for Rb2VO(O2)2F. These findings distinguish peroxides as a brand‐new class of birefringent materials that may possess birefringence superior to the traditional oxides.  相似文献

Styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) composites with silica, halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) and montmorillonite (MMT) were prepared and the interfacial and mechanical properties were compared to understand the reinforcing behaviours of these fillers based on the results of SEM, DSC, DMA, etc. Due to the formation of interparticle domain, HNTs immobilized more rubber approaching their surface than silica and MMT. Interestingly, only tightly immobilized rubber chains made contribution to the enhancement of interfacial and mechanical strength of SBR composites. This was because the tightly immobilized rubber acted as a bridge in the filler-rubber interface and induced the formation of stretched rubber chains linked filler network when the composites were loaded in tension, while loosely immobilized rubber were easy to slip off from filler surface, causing the separation between filler and bulk rubber. Therefore, silica with more tightly immobilized rubber approaching its surface showed better reinforcing effect on rubber than HNTs and MMT.  相似文献

Fully aromatic helicenes with more than one pitch‐length are illustrious synthetic targets with potential applications in advanced optical devices and nano‐electronics. The task of extending the length of fully conjugated helicenes past one pitch length is challenging. Now, the synthesis of a series of azaoxa[7]‐, [10]‐, and [13]helicenes is described. The synthesis is based on iterative oxidative furan formation between 3,6‐dihydroxycarbazoles and/or 2‐naphthols. The flexibility of the presented method allows the convenient and scalable synthesis of symmetric, unsymmetrical, and asymmetric homo‐chiral structures. The [13]helicenes can be synthetically functionalized both at the termini and the periphery. The full range of helicenes were characterized using NMR and optical spectroscopy (UV/Vis, fluorescence, and CD) along with single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography. The enantiomers of the [13]helicenes are the longest optically pure helicenes isolated to date.  相似文献

In this study, poly(1‐butyl‐3‐vinylimidazolium bromide) (PBVIm‐Br) was grafted onto the poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) membrane surface via a 2‐step atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) reaction. Poly(2‐hydroxyethylmethacrylate) (PHEMA) was grafted onto the membrane surface by aqueous ATRP reaction; then, BVIm‐Br was introduced onto the surface of the PHEMA‐modified PVC membrane through traditional ATRP reaction. The analysis of surface chemistry confirmed the successful grafting of PHEMA and PBVIm‐Br on PVC membrane surface, and the grafting density (GD) of PBVIm‐Br gradually increased as the grafting time was prolonged. The modified membrane exhibited a positive charge and significantly enhanced surface hydrophilicity. The static water contact angle of the membrane surface decreased from 92.3° to 51.6° as the GD of the PBVIm‐Br brushes increased. Filtration experiments indicated that the water flux of the modified membrane increased with increasing GD, and their recovered fluxes were more than twice than the original. In addition, the total fouling ratio of the membranes decreased from 89% in M0 to 67% in M5, and most of the fouling was reversible as the GD of PBVIm‐Br brushes increased. These results indicated that the positive charged poly(ionic liquid) brushes featuring hydrophilic properties would have potential applications in membrane separation.  相似文献

Fluorine‐doped hydrogenated carbon film was grown by chemical vapor deposition technique using CH4 and CF4 as feedstock, with a pulse DC‐bias power supply. The structure of as‐deposited film was characterized by transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectra. The results suggested that the film could be considered as composite thin film with curved graphitic structures embedded in amorphous carbon matrix. The mechanical properties and friction coefficient were tested by TI 950 TriboIndenter and UMT‐2 at humidity of 30%, respectively. The results showed that the film exhibited high hardness (~11.04 GPa), good elasticity recovery(~83%) and ultra‐low coefficient of friction (~0.01). Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
