On torsionfree classes which are not precover classes

In the class of all exact torsion theories the torsionfree classes are cover (pre-cover) classes if and only if the classes of torsionfree relatively injective modules or relatively exact modules are cover (precover) classes, and this happens exactly if and only if the torsion theory is of finite type. Using the transfinite induction in the second half of the paper a new construction of a torsionfree relatively injective cover of an arbitrary module with respect to Goldie’s torsion theory of finite type is presented. This research has been partially supported by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic, grant #GAČR 201/06/0510 and also by the institutional grant MSM 0021620839.     

Designing “Dual Personality” IEEE 1149.1 Compliant Multi-Chip Modules

The IEEE 1149.1 Test Access Port and Boundary-Scan ArchitectureStandard can be used at many different levels in the integration hierarchy of a product. However there is one level where using the standard poses some difficulty. Multi-Chip Modules (MCM) belong to this level. This paper explores the problemand proposes a set of solutions for various classes of MCMs.

基于混沌加密的小波包盲水印算法

利用混沌系统的特点调制了两种不同的混沌序列,分别用于水印加密和子图像的抽取.对子图像进行小波包分解,通过修改小波包的系数来嵌入数字水印.水印的提取不需要原始图像,实现了盲提取.实验结果表明,该算法对于常见的JPEG压缩、高斯噪声,裁剪和缩放等攻击具有较好的鲁棒性.     

MULTIPLIERS AND TENSOR PRODUCTS OF L（p, q） LORENTZ SPACES

Let G be a locally compact abelian group. The main purpose of this article is to find the space of multipliers from the Lorentz space L(p1, q1)(G) to L(p21,q21)(G). For this reason, the authors define the space Ap1,q1p2,q2(G), discuss its properties and prove that the space of multipliers from L(p1,q1)(G) to L(p21,q21)(G) is isometrically isomorphic to the dual of Ap1,q1p2q2(G).     

On weakly prime radical of modules and semi-compatible modules

Summary Let M be a left R-module. Then a proper submodule P of M is called weakly prime submodule if for any ideals A and B of R and any submodule N of M such that ABN ⊆ P, we have AN ⊆ P or BN ⊆ P. We define weakly prime radicals of modules and show that for Ore domains, the study of weakly prime radicals of general modules reduces to that of torsion modules. We determine the weakly prime radical of any module over a commutative domain R with dim (R) ≦ 1. Also, we show that over a commutative domain R with dim (R) ≦ 1, every semiprime submodule of any module is an intersection of weakly prime submodules. Localization of a module over a commutative ring preserves the weakly prime property. An R-module M is called semi-compatible if every weakly prime submodule of M is an intersection of prime submodules. Also, a ring R is called semi-compatible if every R-module is semi-compatible. It is shown that any projective module over a commutative ring is semi-compatible and that a commutative Noetherian ring R is semi-compatible if and only if for every prime ideal B of R, the ring R/\B is a Dedekind domain. Finally, we show that if R is a UFD such that the free R-module R⊕ R is a semi-compatible module, then R is a Bezout domain.     

On the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of module left derivations

Let A be a unital normed algebra and let M be a unitary Banach left A-module. If f:A→M is an approximate module left derivation, then f:A→M is a module left derivation. Moreover, if M=A is a semiprime unital Banach algebra and f(tx) is continuous in t∈R for each fixed x in A, then every approximately linear left derivation f:A→A is a linear derivation which maps A into the intersection of its center Z(A) and its Jacobson radical rad(A). In particular, if A is semisimple, then f is identically zero.
