Summary All rational approximations to exp(z) of order 2m– (m denotes the maximal degree of nominator and denominator) are given by a closed formula involving real parameters. Using the theory of order stars [9], necessary and sufficient conditions forA-stability (respectivelyI-stability) are given. On the basis of this characterization relations between the concepts ofA-stability and algebraic stability (for implicit Runge-Kutta methods) are investigated. Summary In this paper Adams type methods for the special case of neutral functional differential equations are examined. It is shown thatk-step methods maintain orderk+1 for sufficiently small step size in a sufficiently smooth situation. However, when these methods are applied to an equation with a non-smooth solution the order of convergence is only one. Summary This paper continues earlier work by the same authors concerning the shape and size of the stability regions of general linear discretization methods for initial value problems. Here the treatment is extended to cover also implicit schemes, and by placing the accuracy of the schemes into a more central position in the discussion general method-free statements are again obtained. Summary Quasiperiodic solutions of perturbed integrable Hamiltonian equations such as weakly coupled harmonic oscillators can be found by constructing an appropriate coordinate transformation which leads to a small divisor problem. However the numerical difficulties are not merely caused by the small divisors but rather by the appearence of ghost solutions, which appear in any reasonable discretization of the problem. Our numerical treatment, based on a Newton-type iteration, guarantees an approximation of the relevant solution of the nonlinear problem. Numerical solutions are found up to a critical value of the coupling constant, which is much larger than the coupling constants allowed by the existence theory available so far.  相似文献

Protein hydrolysates have the potential to be natural and safer sources of bioactive peptides. In this study, two proteases were used to hydrolyze Chinese sturgeon (Acipenser sinensis) protein, and the hydrolysates were then purified to yield antioxidant peptides. The degree of hydrolysis of 23.56 % and 18.14 % was obtained using papain and alcalase 2.4L, respectivly, and hydrolysates had 96.80 % and 87.24 % total amino acid content, respectivly. The papain hydrolysate (PH) and alcalase 2.4L hydrolysate (AH) showed good antioxidant activity against DPPH? (IC50 of 3.64 and 3.15 mg/mL) and ABTS?+ (IC50 of 1.92 and 1.58 mg/mL), respectively. The low-molecular-weight (<1000 Da) fraction of both hydrolysates demonstrated the highest antiradical activity (IC50 of 2.59 and 2.31 mg/mL, DPPH) and (IC50 of 1.54 and 1.36 mg/mL, ABTS), respectively. Nine peptides were separated from both hydrolysates using reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). The IC50 for ABTS?+ scavenging activity of peptide P5 with valine, glycine and asparagine (MW of 282.13 Da) from PH, and peptide P3 with histidine, glycine and alanine (MW of 302.74 Da) from AH was 0.89 and 0.72 mg/mL, respectively. The fractions and purified peptides obtained from Chinese sturgeon hydrolysates could be utilized as natural antioxidant substitutes in pharmaceuticals and food products.  相似文献

Accurate, practical prediction of 13C NMR chemical shifts has been achieved with a new system, CAST/CNMR, taking account of stereochemistry. The CAST/CNMR system has solved the critical problem of the accurate distinction of differences and similarities in stereochemical structures around a specific carbon, which has not yet been achieved by any other database-oriented system for prediction of 13C NMR chemical shifts. CAST/CNMR uses a three-dimensional structural database together with a 13C NMR spectral database. Absolute/relative configurational and conformational structural information are described by the CAST (CAnonical-representation of STereochemistry) coding method. This paper provides an overview of the CAST/CNMR system, and describes its application to two natural products as examples.  相似文献

In order to detect small variations in 13C isotopomers concentrations, high sensitivity, accuracy and precision have to be achieved. To assess such criteria, when using 13C NMR, 13C bi-labelled ethanol has been proposed as a molecular probe. Advantage has been taken of the pre-established structural relationship between the peak areas of the 13C NMR spectrum of this molecule, i.e. the ratio of signal areas is set to a fixed value. It is shown that the quality performance, required by quantitative 13C NMR spectroscopy, is not affected by a large reduction of the repetition delay using relaxation reagents.  相似文献
