Existing studies of on-line process control are concerned with economic aspects, and the parameters of the processes are optimized with respect to the average cost per item produced. However, an equally important dimension is the adoption of an efficient maintenance policy. In most cases, only the frequency of the corrective adjustment is evaluated because it is assumed that the equipment becomes “as good as new” after corrective maintenance. For this condition to be met, a sophisticated and detailed corrective adjustment system needs to be employed. The aim of this paper is to propose an integrated economic model incorporating the following two dimensions: on-line process control and a corrective maintenance program. Both performances are objects of an average cost per item minimization. Adjustments are based on the location of the measurement of a quality characteristic of interest in a three decision zone. Numerical examples are illustrated in the proposal.  相似文献

The phonon relaxation and heat conduction in one-dimensional Fermi-Pasta-Ulam (FPU) β lattices are studied by using molecular dynamics simulations.The phonon relaxation rate,which dominates the length dependence of the FPU β lattice,is first calculated from the energy autocorrelation function for different modes at various temperatures through equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations.We find that the relaxation rate as a function of wave number k is proportional to k 1.688,which leads to a N 0.41 divergence of the thermal conductivity in the framework of Green-Kubo relation.This is also in good agreement with the data obtained by non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations which estimate the length dependence exponent of the thermal conductivity as 0.415.Our results confirm the N 2/5 divergence in one-dimensional FPU β lattices.The effects of the heat flux on the thermal conductivity are also studied by imposing different temperature differences on the two ends of the lattices.We find that the thermal conductivity is insensitive to the heat flux under our simulation conditions.It implies that the linear response theory is applicable towards the heat conduction in one-dimensional FPU β lattices.  相似文献

An analysis for vibration of non-homogenous visco-elastic rectangular plate of linearly varying thickness subjected to thermal gradient has been discussed in the present investigation. For visco-elastic, the basic elastic and viscous elements are combined. We have taken Kelvin model for visco-elasticity that is the combination of the elastic and viscous elements in parallel. Here the elastic element means the spring and the viscous element means the dashpot. The governing differential equation of motion has been solved by Galerkin’s technique. Deflection, time period and logarithmic decrement at different points for the first two modes of vibration are calculated for various values of thermal gradients, non homogeneity constant, taper constant and aspect ratio for non-homogenous visco-elastic rectangular plate which is clamped on two parallel edges and simply supported on remaining two edges. Comparison studies have been carried out with homogeneous visco-elastic rectangular plate to establish the accuracy and versatility.  相似文献

A composite beam is composed of an upper slab and a lower beam connected at the interface by shear transmitting studs. In this paper, an improved and efficient numerical model for the calculation of higher natural frequencies of an elastic composite beam is presented. The numerical model uses the Riccati transfer matrix method. First, the exact field transfer matrix for an element of the beam is represented using the combination of the Analog Beam Method and the transfer matrix method. Second, applying Riccati method to the beam system, the natural frequencies can be easily calculated. The advantage of the present model is to overcome the numerical instabilities of the ordinary transfer matrix method, especially when calculating the higher natural frequencies of structures. A numerical example is given to illustrate and compare the results with those available from other methods. Finally, a parametric study is given to examine the effect of various parameters of the elastic composite beam on its free vibration behavior.  相似文献

An n-unit system provisioned with a single warm standby is investigated. The individual units are subject to repairable failures, while the entire system is subject to a nonrepairable failure at some finite but random time in the future. System performance measures for systems observed over a time interval of random duration are introduced. Two models to compute these system performance measures, one employing a policy of block replacement, and the other without a block replacement policy, are developed. Distributional assumptions involving distributions of phase type introduce matrix Laplace transformations into the calculations of the performance measures. It is shown that these measures are easily carried out on a laptop computer using Microsoft Excel. A simple economic model is used to illustrate how the performance measures may be used to determine optimal economic design specifications for the warm standby.  相似文献

Given a graph G we are interested in studying the symmetric matrices associated to G with a fixed number of negative eigenvalues. For this class of matrices we focus on the maximum possible nullity. For trees this parameter has already been studied and plenty of applications are known. In this work we derive a formula for the maximum nullity and completely describe its behavior as a function of the number of negative eigenvalues. In addition, we also carefully describe the matrices associated with trees that attain this maximum nullity. The analysis is then extended to the more general class of unicyclic graphs. Further our work is applied to re-describing all possible partial inertias associated with trees, and is employed to study an instance of the inverse eigenvalue problem for certain trees.  相似文献

A 30-MeV femto-second electron linac is built at the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, which can produce high power, coherent THz undulator radiation.
