Correlation dynamics of a qubit–qutrit system in a spin-chain environment with Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya interaction

We study the dynamics of correlations for a hybrid qubit-qutrit system in an XY spin-chain environment with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction. Our discussion involves a comparative analysis of negativity, quantum discord, and measurement-induced disturbance. It is found that the quantum discord is optimal of the three quantum correlations to de- tect the critical point of quantum phase transition. Only when the qubit interacts with the environment, is the phenomenon of sudden transition between the classical correlation and the quantum discord observed. Moreover, the Dzyaloshinsky- Moriya interaction enhances the decay of quantum correlations.     

Types of the jump phenomenon in the angular dependence of the noncollinear exchange bias

Based on the principle of minimal energy and the coherent rotation model, two types of the jump phenomena, complete and incomplete jump phenomenon, are proved to exist in the angular dependence of the exchange bias with noncollinear unidirectional and uniaxial anisotropies. It is found that the transition between complete and incomplete jump phenomena occurs on condition that the exchange-coupling constant exceeds a critical value. Additionally, two different modes of the magnetization rotation, the whole-plane rotation, and the half-plane rotation are present in the magnetization reversal process, and they are dependent on the direction of the external field. Furthermore, the equations of the critical angle, at which orientation the exchange bias field reaches a maximum value and the coercivity disappears, are also derived in this paper. The numerical calculations in this paper are consistent with the relevant experimental observations, indicating that our method to study the angular dependence of the exchange bias as well as the magnetization reversal behaviors is valid. Our discussion about the jump phenomenon, the critical angle, and the modes of the magnetization reversal can explain the observed differences in results between different experiments.

正国际上首次报道了基于d电子过渡金属元素的二维蜂窝状晶体材料。这种由铪元素构成的二维蜂窝状结构比石墨烯具有更强的自旋轨道耦合,为研究二维体系中新的量子现象和电子行为提供了新的平台。铪也是当今半导体科学和技术中最重要的元素之一,制备出铪的类石墨烯结构对未来电子学也极其重要。该工作发表在Nano Letters 13,4671(2013),被Nature China和Nature Nanotechnology作为研究亮点进行报道。     

微尺度稀薄效应下颗粒沉降的格子Boltzmann方法模拟

基于多松弛格子Boltzmann模型,对竖直细长微通道内颗粒自由沉降过程进行模拟,分析气体稀薄效应、初始位置以及颗粒间相互作用对微颗粒沉降特性的影响.研究表明：随Knudsen数增大,微通道内气体稀薄效应增强,颗粒表面气体滑移速度增大,气相流体有效粘度减小,颗粒相同运动状态下受到气体阻力相应减小,颗粒沉降平衡速度明显增大;不同初始位置颗粒沉降过程存在明显差异,初始位置偏离中心线颗粒将发生水平方向位移且呈振荡趋势,最终稳定于中心线平衡位置;在微尺度双颗粒沉降DKT现象过程中,气体稀薄效应影响颗粒运动特性,后颗粒跟随过程明显增长.     

双作用脉管制冷机不一致性研究

本文对双作用脉管制冷机试验中出现的双频率现象进行分析,分析了系统中压缩机参数的不一致性对系统性能的影响,利用DeltaEc软件进行数值模拟,分别考察了压缩机的机械参数(动质量、弹簧刚度、机械阻尼)和电参数(电机内阻)等出现不一致时对系统性能的影响。计算表明当系统中的各个部件结构参数完全一致时,其工作状态也是相同的。当其中一个压缩机单个参数发生变化时,三个单元的工作状态均会受到不同程度的影响。     

过境卫星对广电专用卫星的干扰及应对措施

作为广播电视信号三大传输手段之一的卫星传输技术,在当前仍然扮演着重要角色。卫星传输系统是一个开放系统,易受到外界信号的干扰。过境卫星干扰由于其具有隐蔽性、特殊性,给广播电视卫星传输带来许多不利影响。本文结合工作实际,通过介绍近年来发生的干扰实例,对过境卫星干扰的机理进行分析,提出减小干扰的有效措施,为同行提供一定的借鉴作用。     

Influence of Selective Edge Removal and Refractory Period in a Self-Organized Critical Neuron Model

A simple model for a set of integrate-and-fire neurons based on the weighted network is introduced. By considering the neurobiological phenomenon in brain development and the difference of the synaptic strength, we construct weighted networks develop with link additions and followed by selective edge removal. The network exhibits the small-world and scale-free properties with high network efficiency. The model displays an avalanche activity on a power-law distribution. We investigate the effect of selective edge removal and the neuron refractory period on the self-organized criticality of the system.
