基于MSC Pool的软交换组网策略

随着软交换大规模投入使用,如何在兼顾网络资源、注重网络安全的基础上,有效简化网络扩容、合理配置MSC/MSC Server的容量及分担话务已经成为中国移动日益关注和重视的焦点。文章通过对MSC Pool技术原理、基本业务流程以及特点优势的介绍,由此引入基于MSC Pool的软交换组网策略,并就发展趋势、规划原则以及最终目标做了分别阐述和分析。     

SGSN Pool技术及其在移动网中的应用探讨

简要介绍了SGSN Pool的实现机制、实现意义,对SGSN Pool的技术演进及实现的前提条件进行了分析和阐述。讨论了SGSN Pool技术在容灾中的应用。     

Large eddy simulation of fire plumes

FireFOAM, a new fire modeling code based on the OpenFOAM platform (www.openfoam.org), is developed and applied to model a series of purely buoyant fire plumes with heat release rates from 14 to 58 kW. The calculations are compared with McCaffrey’s (1979) experiments. The simulation results demonstrate good quantitative agreement with experimental measurements, and show the scaling relations of mean temperature and velocity in the continuous flame, intermittent and plume regions. The numerical simulations are shown to be strictly conservative in energy. Predicted flame heights and entrainment rates also compare well with experimental correlations. The good agreements in all aspects examined show that the current CFD model performs well for small-scale fire plumes. Turbulent fluctuation intensities and PDF of mixture fraction are presented to gain more insights into the structure of fire plumes.     

Transport of salts and micron-sized particles entrained from a boiling water pool

The entrainment of soluble (KI, CsI) and non-soluble (Al₂O₃) substances through droplets, which are produced by disintegrating steam bubbles at the surface of a boiling water pool, is determined in a pilot-scale facility. Integral measurements are conducted at steady-state conditions in an atmosphere of either pure steam or an air–steam mixture. The ratio of the entrained liquid mass flow and the gas mass flow through the pool, the entrainment factor, is determined for air–steam ratios between 0 and 0.47 kg/kg in the gas atmosphere and at constant total pressures between 2 and 6 bar. The influence of the vertical temperature profile in the gas atmosphere on the convective velocity field is demonstrated by phase Doppler anemometry and particle image velocimetry measurements at a location 2.1 m above the pool surface. The influences of nucleation and natural convection are demonstrated during slow de-pressurization of the facility at rates below 420 Pa/s.     

Region based foreground segmentation combining color and depth sensors via logarithmic opinion pool decision

In this paper we present a novel foreground segmentation system that combines color and depth sensors information to perform a more complete Bayesian segmentation between foreground and background classes. The system shows a combination of spatial-color and spatial-depth region-based models for the foreground as well as color and depth pixel-wise models for the background in a Logarithmic Opinion Pool decision framework used to correctly combine the likelihoods of each model. A posterior enhancement step based on a trimap analysis is also proposed in order to correct the precision errors that the depth sensor introduces. The results presented in this paper show that our system is robust in front of color and depth camouflage problems between the foreground object and the background, and also improves the segmentation in the area of the objects’ contours by reducing the false positive detections that appear due to the lack of precision of the depth sensors.

Equilibria in a proportional reinsurance market

The classical theory is adapted to the situation where the risk exchange of n insurance companies is an exchange of payments that belong to a certain linear class of random variables, for example the payments corresponding to certain layers of the aggregate claims. Similarly, a price equilibrium is considered, where the companies can purchase payments of a linear class. An example is the case where each company buys proportional coverage for its own claims and sells proportional coverage for the claims of the other companies.     

Numerical simulation of liquefied fuel spills: II. Instantaneous and continuous LNG spills on an unconfined water surface

A simple numerical model based on the shallow water equations in radial symmetry is used to simulate both instantaneous and continuous spills of liquefied natural gas (LNG) onto a water surface. Using the computed results, a study is made of the similarities and differences in the pool structure resulting from the two types of spills. For instantaneous spills a relation linear on a logarithmic plot is suggested between the maximum pool size and the spill volume. The effects of shear forces and surface cohesivity on the evolution of the spill are also examined.

在分析直接通过JDBC连接数据库这种连接方式的基础上,指出了传统数据库连接技术中存在的运行效率低、软件移植性和复用性差等不足之处。文中研究了数据库连接池技术,并在工程应用中加以实现。该技术方案有效地解决了在企业级应用中数据库连接的效率问题、应用程序代码的移植问题和数据库连接的封装问题。
