通过把负磁导率材料SRR阵列置于高性能电流变液中,研究了电极加载方式、电流变液浓度、电流变液类型以及电场强度等因素对浸入电流变液中的SRR阵列谐振频率的影响. 实验表明,电极加载方式对SRR阵列的磁响应有重要的影响;在容器盒中充满电流变液之后SRR阵列的谐振频率往低频发生了移动,并且可以通过改变外加电场强度来调节,最大的调节范围为130MHz. 数值计算结果表明SRR阵列的有效磁导率在谐振频率附近为负值,并且有效磁导率为负的频率范围也可以通过改变外加电场强度来调节. 关键词: 负磁导率材料 谐振频率 电流变液  相似文献

As we enter the age of designer matter — where objects can morph and change shape on command — what tools do we need to create shape-shifting structures? At the heart of an elastic deformation is the combination of dilation and distortion or stretching and bending. The competition between the latter can cause elastic instabilities, and over the last fifteen years, these instabilities have provided a multitude of ways to prescribe and control shape change. Buckling, wrinkling, folding, creasing, and snapping have become mechanisms that when harmoniously combined enable mechanical metamaterials, self-folding origami, ultralight and ultrathin kirigami, and structures that appear to grow from one shape to another. In this review, I aim to connect the fundamentals of elastic instabilities to the advanced functionality currently found within mechanical metamaterials.  相似文献

The electron effective mass in GaAs quantum wires has been estimated by using a full dynamical random-phase approximation to examine its properties versus spin polarization, temperature, and carrier density. A decrease of mass with spin polarization is seen. The minority mass increases with the polarization while the majority mass decreases and this behaviour is seen for all densities. A maximal enhancement of mass at moderate temperature around 25 K is also presented. These calculations show a qualitative consistence with results in two-dimensional systems and help to control the electronic transport in quantum wires.  相似文献

Heat energy can transfer via convection, conduction, and radiation. Based on convection and conduction in microfluidics, people have designed and fabricated many novel devices. However, almost none of them has adaptivity, thus restricting practical applications under different conditions. To solve this problem, here we propose a passive approach to adaptive responses. That is,we consider the thermal convection-conduction process in microfluidic structures where Darcy’s law and Fourier’s law are both valid. By carefully designing two key parameters(i.e., tensorial thermal conductivity and tensorial permeability) of a metashell,we theoretically reveal that its effective properties(i.e., effective thermal conductivity and effective permeability) can adaptively change according to the inside object, thus yielding the chameleonlike metashell. Further, this metashell is passive since it requires no prior knowledge of the inside object. We also report that the chameleonlike behavior can occur for anisotropic inside objects, nonuniform external fields, or even complex shapes. All theoretical analyses agree well with finite-element simulations.The chameleonlike metashell can act as an intelligent metamaterial in microfluidics for its adaptive responses, and it can also benefit other physical fields where convection plays a role, such as mass diffusion.  相似文献

利用手持技术实时精确测量加热中石棉网上表面不同位置的温度,采用独立样本t检验比较石棉网上表面无铁丝点和有铁丝点间的温度差异与温差差异,通过回归分析探究石棉网上表面温度与其主要影响因素间的关系。研究表明:同等条件下加热中的石棉网上表面无铁丝点与有铁丝点存在显著温度差异,而无铁丝点间的单位距离温差与有铁丝点间的单位距离温差无显著差异;石棉网升温阶段上表面温度与时间、位置的关系可拟合为二元一次线性方程,恒温阶段上表面温度与位置的关系可拟合为一元三次曲线方程;石棉网上表面温度从中心向边缘小幅递减,均匀分布,最大温差小于玻璃仪器的耐热骤变温差。研究结果为化学教育实践中科学使用石棉网以及化学实验教材的编写提供参考依据。  相似文献

The rise of plasmonic metamaterials in recent years has unveiled the possibility of revolutionizing the entire field of optics and photonics, challenging well-established technological limitations and paving the way to innovations at an unprecedented level To capitalize the disruptive potential of this rising field of science and technology, it is important to be able to combine the richness of optical phenomena enabled by nanoplasmonics in order to realize metamaterial components, devices, and systems of increasing complexity. Here, we review a few recent research directions in the field of plasmonic metamaterials, which may foster further advancements in this research area. We will discuss the anomalous scattering features enabled by plasmonic nanoparticles and nanoclusters, and show how they may represent the fundamental building blocks of complex nanophotonic architectures. Building on these concepts, advanced components can be designed and operated, such as optical nanoantennas and nanoantenna arrays, which, in turn, may be at the basis of metasurface devices and complex systems. Following this path, from basic phenomena to advanced functionalities, the field of plasmonic metamaterials offers the promise of an important scientific and technological impact, with applications spanning from medical diagnostics to clean energy and information processing.  相似文献

Velocity distributions within three models of the human larynx, namely, a rigid plexiglas model, an excised canine larynx, and a computational model are investigated with experimental and theoretical analyses. A plexiglas wind tunnel with interchangeable glottal constrictions was used as a two-dimensional steady-flow model to measure velocity and pressure for various glottal shapes. A canine excised larynx was used as a prototype pulsatile flow model to study pressure and velocity variations during phonation. Results of the plexiglas modelling indicated a parabolic laminar velocity profile upstream of the glottal constriction and turbulent and asymmetric velocity profiles downstream of the glottal constriction. The time-averaged velocities of the excised larynx had similarities with the plexiglas model results, and instabilities and asymmetries were also demonstrated by the computational method.  相似文献
