Sobolev-Type Classes of Functions with Values in a Metric Space. II

We prove equivalence of the definitions by the author and by Korevaar and Schoen of the Sobolev classes of mappings of a domain of an arithmetic n-dimensional space to a metric space.     

Gamow Vectors in Exactly Solvable Models

Through two examples: the Friedrichs model and a particular case of central potential scattering, we illustrate the way of constructing Gamow vectors.     

Influence of annealing and chain defects on the melting behaviour of poly(vinylidene fluoride)

The melting behaviour of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and small- and wide-angle X-ray scattering in order to study the influence of the chain defects content and of the temperature of annealing on the crystallization and melting behaviour.All the DSC scans show a double endotherm and the analysis of the data suggests that the low temperature endotherm is due to the melting of a population of thin lamellae, whose thickness increases during the annealing, but a high content of chain defects prevents the lamellar thickening and the main effect in this case is the crystallization of thin lamellae from a portion of polymer which did not crystallize during the quenching from the melt. Furthermore, the two melting endotherms, which are observed, can be partially ascribed to a melting-recrystallization process.Furthermore, stepwise isothermal cooling was performed in a differential scanning calorimeter followed by melting scans of fractionated PVDF samples to point out the possible presence of a series of endothermic peaks.     

Finite-Dimensional Approximations for Scattering Theory Operators in the Wave-Packet Representation

We consider some types of packet discretization for continuous spectra in quantum scattering problems. As we previously showed, this discretization leads to a convenient finite-dimensional (i.e., matrix) approximation for integral operators in the scattering theory and allows reducing the solution of singular integral equations connected with the scattering theory to some suitable purely algebraic equations on an analytic basis. All singularities are explicitly singled out. Our primary emphasis is on realizing the method practically.     

Convergence estimates of Galerkin-wavelet solutions to a Cauchy problem for a class of periodic pseudodifferential equations

A class of Cauchy problems for interesting complicated periodic pseudodifferential equations is considered. By the Galerkin-wavelet method and with weak solutions one can find sufficient conditions to establish convergence estimates of weak Galerkin-wavelet solutions to a Cauchy problem for this class of equations.

     

Partially Classical States of a Boson Field

Employing positive-definiteness arguments we analyse Boson field states, which combine classical and quantum mechanical features (signal and noise), in a constructive manner. Mathematically, they constitute Bauer simplexes within the convex, weak-*-compact state space of the C*-Weyl algebra, defined by a presymplectic test function space (smooth one-Boson wave functions) and are affinely homeomorphic to a state space of a classical field. The regular elements are expressed in terms of weak distributions (probability premeasures) on the dual test function space. The Bauer simplex arising from the bare vacuum is shown to generalize the quantum optical photon field states with positive P-functions.     

海洋激光雷达测量海中悬移质

研制了一套采用倍频YAG激光器的小型海洋激光雷达，用于测量海中悬移质浓度，2000年8月28日至9月5日，该系统安装于“东方红Ⅱ”号右舷下甲板，在渤海海区进行海中悬移质浓度现场测量，通过对18个站位的海洋激光雷达数据分析，获得的表层悬移质浓度与同步测量的海中悬移质浓度结果吻合较好。     

单壁碳纳米管的SERS研究

本文通过改进实验方法,将单壁碳纳米管的乙醇溶液与金胶混合并制作成固体薄膜,使单壁碳纳米管夹裹在金纳米粒子之间,保证了吸附的紧密性,获得了高质量的单壁碳纳米管SERS光谱。不但观测到文献中报道的径向呼吸振动模(RBM)和C-C正切拉伸模(GM)的增强,还在1100-1500cm-1区域观测到一组新峰,其峰形完整并有相当的强度。这些峰在现有的文献中几乎没有报导。文章对这组新峰的出现进行了初步的分析。     

多目标半定规划的互补弱鞍点和G-鞍点最优性条件

对于含矩阵函数半定约束和多个目标函数的多目标半定规划问题，给出Lagrange函数在弱有效意义下的互补弱鞍点和Geofrrion恰当有效意义下的G-鞍点的定义及其等价定义．然后，在较弱的凸性条件下，利用含矩阵和向量约束的择一性定理，建立多目标半定规划的互补弱鞍点和G-鞍点充分必要条件．
