We have investigated the effect of surrounding plasmas on several singly excited and doubly excited meta-stable bound states of helium atom using highly correlated basis functions for singly excited S, P, D states and CI-type basis functions for doubly excited meta-stable D states. Plasma effect is taken care of by using a screened Coulomb (Yukawa) potential obtained from the Debye model that admits a variety of plasma conditions, and such a model plays an important role in plasma spectroscopy. The wavelengths for transitions from the 1snp 1P° (n=2,3)→1s21Se, 1snp 3P° (n=2,3)→1s2s 3Se, 2pnp 1Pe (n=3,4)→1s2p 1P°, 2pnp 3Pe (n=2,3)→1s2p 3P°, 2pnd 1D° (n=3,4)→1s3d 1De, 2pnd 3D° (n=3,4)→1s3d 3De, 2p3p 1Pe→2pnd 1D° (n=3,4), 2pnd 1D°(n=3, 4)→2p4p 1Pe, 2pnp 3Pe (n=2,3)→2p3d 3D°, and 2pnp 3Pe (n=2,3)→2p4d 3D° of helium atom in plasmas for various Debye lengths are reported.  相似文献

A theoretical comparison of various low and high order multipliers for 200 GHz and 1 THz has been carried out. Novel diodes including single barrier varactors, barrier-intrinsic-n+ diodes and high electron mobility varactors are shown to have excellent theoretical performance, comparable or better than the conventional Schottky varactors for single and double diode frequency multipliers at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths, whereas quantum well diodes, since they suffer from high resistive losses, are shown to be less attractive. In comparison to the conventional Schottky varactor, these new diodes have some potential advantages in their characteristics such as nonlinearity or a special symmetry. For future optimization some general comments on these advantages as well as other factors affecting multiplication is given.  相似文献

We numerically study the propagation dynamics of intense optical pulses in gas-filled hollow-core fibers(HCFs). The spatiotemporal dynamics of the pulses show a transition from tightly confined to loosely confined characteristics as the fiber core is increased, which manifests as a deterioration in the spatiotemporal uniformity of the beam. It is found that using the gas pressure gradient does not enhance the beam quality in large-core HCFs, while inducing a positive chirp in the pulse to lower the peak power can improve the beam quality. This indicates that the self-focusing effect in the HCFs is the main driving force for the propagation dynamics. It also suggests that pulses at longer wavelengths are more suitable for HCFs with large cores because of the lower critical power of self-focusing, which is justified by the numerical simulations. These results will benefit the generation of energetic few-cycle pulses in large-core HCFs.  相似文献

We performed R-matrix calculations for photoionization cross sections of the two ground state configuration 3s23p5 (2Po3/2,1/2) levels and 12 excited states of Ni XII using relativistic Dirac Atomic R-matrix Codes (DARC) across the photon energy range between the ionizations thresholds of the corresponding states and well above the thresholds of the last level of the Ni XIII target ion. Generally, a good agreement is obtained between our results and the earlier theoretical photoionization cross sections. Moreover, we have used two independent fully relativistic GRASP and FAC codes to calculate fine-structure energy levels, wavelengths, oscillator strengths, transitions rates among the lowest 48 levels belonging to the configuration (3s23p4, 3s3p5, 3p6, 3s23p33d) in Ni XIII. Additionally, radiative lifetimes of all the excited states of Ni XIII are presented. Our results of the atomic structure of Ni XIII show good agreement with other theoretical and experimental results available in the literature. A good agreement is found between our calculated lifetimes and the experimental ones. Our present results are useful for plasma diagnostic of fusion and astrophysical plasmas.  相似文献

本文通过对二硝基氯苯与吡啶生成的紫红色化合物光谱的研究,从而导出了主次双波长对二硝基氯苯进行定量测定的数学模型,二硝基氯苯在0~50μg/25mL范围内计算参数(Y)与二硝基氯苯浓度(x)呈良好的幂函数关系。由此对环境水体中微量二硝基氯苯进行了测定,方法的最低检出限为0.7μg,相对标准偏差RSD≤2.7%,加标回收率99.2%~101.0%。  相似文献

推导并验证了非啁啾取样光纤布拉格光栅(SFBG)反射谱中反射峰值波长的表达式。基于种子光栅中心波长对应的折射率调制深度和取样光纤布拉格光栅折射率调制函数的傅里叶级数展开式,提炼出取样光纤布拉格光栅的折射率调制深度和各阶光栅周期,从而导出其反射峰值波长的表达式。由于考虑了占空比、取样周期等取样光纤布拉格光栅的结构参量,因而表达式能够描述反射峰的分布。仿真实验中,不同占空比或取样周期下计算出的反射峰值波长、信道间隔符合数值反射谱。该表达式既适用于均匀取样光纤布拉格光栅,也适用于交流切趾和交直流切趾取样光纤布拉格光栅。  相似文献

By coupling a train of femtosecond pulses with 100 fs pulse width at a repetition rate of 76 MHz generated by a mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser into the fundamental mode of photonic crystal fibre(PCF) with central holes fabricated through extracting air from the central hole,the broad and ultra-flattened supercontinuum(SC) in the visible wavelengths is generated.When the fundamental mode experiences an anomalous dispersion regime,three phases in the SC generation process are primarily presented.The SC generation(SCG) in the wavelength range from 470 nm to 805 nm does not emerge significant ripples due to a higher pump peak power and the corresponding mode fields at different wavelengths are observed using Bragg gratings.The relative intensity fluctuations of output spectrum in the wavelength ranges of 530 nm to 640 nm and 543 nm to 590 nm are only 0.028 and 0.0071,respectively.  相似文献

On using the spatial dispersion theory, we have developed a rigorous model for analyzing excess conduction loss in normal metals. We have used the model to account excess conduction loss and dissect the discrepancies between excess conduction loss measurements and classical theoretical predictions in normal metals for sub-millimeter wavelengths. Our analysis shows that the conductivity is not only frequency but also wave vector dependent. We demonstrate good quantitative agreement with the published experimental data for the room temperature excess conduction loss of normal metals for sub-millimeter wavelengths.  相似文献

The propagation of wideband signals through the atmosphere has been studied at millimeter wavelengths at which the atmosphere exhibits significant dispersion as well as absorption. The wideband signals having a Gaussian spectrum are considered to be propagating at carrier frequencies in the range 10-200 GHz over line-of-sight paths under varying propagation conditions effected by the clear air and raining atmosphere. The propagation effects on the wideband signal are assessed in terms of the percentage change in the width and the group delay suffered by the pulsed envelope, also having a Gaussian shape, and the shift in the mode frequency of the signal. The results of numerical calculations, based on a closed solution of Fourier integral, show that the propagated wideband signal can be significantly affected by the atmosphere depending on rain rate, carrier frequency, path length and signal bandwidth.  相似文献
