The purpose of this paper was to investigate the feasibility of a newly developed hyperspectral fundus imaging camera with a liquid crystal tunable filter. The intensities of different wavelengths of light transmitted through an artery, vein, and the area surrounding these vessels and reflected out were measured, and the differential spectral absorptions were analyzed. Measurements were made from 16 normal eyes and from two artificial capillaries. The ratios of absorption (ROA) of arteries to veins from 500 to 580 nm (range 1) and from 600 to 720 nm (range 2) were calculated. For all eyes, the ROArange1 was larger than ROArange2. The ROA obtained from the artificial capillary filled with blood saturated with oxygen or nitrogen was similar to that of simulated data of oxy- and deoxyhemoglobin extinction rate. Most ROAs of human eyes were lower than those of the simulated data and the artificial capillaries. Oxygen saturation analysis by hyperspectral fundus imaging of retinal vessels were qualitatively in agreement with thein vitro analysis or simulated values. However, further improvements are necessary to evaluate the oxygen saturation quantitatively in the retinal blood vessels.  相似文献

In this paper we presented a method, which will allow multiple parameter control of the 3-dB bandwidth, center notch wavelength and attenuation level in a fiber-based acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF). The method basically involves the variation of the interaction length, RF frequency and RF power on a single-fiber device to achieve multiple parameters tuning of the optical filter. Spectrum distortion in a birefringent crystal-based interleaver filter introduced by the right-angle total internal reflection retroreflector is studied. The phase shift between two perpendicularly polarized components of the polarized light incident onto the retroreflector is calculated. The sensitivity of the phase shift to the incident angle for different materials from which the retroreflector is made is also considered. This study indicates that the phase shift is less sensitive to the incident angle for retroreflectors having a higher index of refraction, suggesting a fixed-phase compensator that can be used to cancel out the phase shift introduced by the retroreflector to recover the interleaver filter's spectrum. The fold-back 50 GHz channel spacing birefringent crystal interleaver filter is fabricated to demonstrate that the spectrum distortion due to the phase shift introduced by retroreflector can be eliminated by a phase compensator.  相似文献

Simulation of mechanized tunneling and on-site excavation require very good knowledge of the geomechanical and material properties. Identification of the material must be fast and continuously performed during tunnel excavation for the best possible strategies for advancing the tunnel boring machine. We present in this work the use of the extended Kalman filter (EKF) for identification of the inclined fault zone ahead of the face. The EKF showed fast and stable convergence of the model parameters under study. In comparison with the particle swarm optimization technique applied to the same back analysis problem, faster convergence of the identified parameters as well as high robustness with respect to the choice of the initial parameter values have been observed.  相似文献

为提高移动机器人的位置估计精度和跟踪效果,提出一种基于道路约束条件下的移动机器人鲁棒约束H∞滤波(CHF)跟踪算法.首先,将机器人移动的道路网络作为跟踪的约束条件,并利用当前统计模型对机器人的运动进行建模.其次,将道路约束条件作为机器人跟踪的非线性状态约束,利用最小协方差估计推导了鲁棒CHF递推方程.通过拉格朗日乘子法对非线性约束优化估计问题进行求解,并利用约束信息对CHF算法的状态更新过程进行了改进.最后,通过对CHF算法和无约束的H∞滤波算法的跟踪性能进行了对比分析和验证.仿真结果表明,该算法可以实现机器人的跟踪,且跟踪精度优于HF算法.  相似文献

It is often desirable to selectively remove corrupting or uninteresting signals from complex NMR spectra without disturbing overlapping or nearby signals. For biofluids in particular, removal of solvent and urea signals is important for retaining quantitative accuracy in NMR‐based metabonomics. This article presents a novel algorithm for efficient filtering of unwanted signals using the filter diagonalization method (FDM). Unwanted signals are modeled in the time domain using FDM. This modeled signal is subtracted from the original free induction decay. The resulting corrected signal is then processed using established workflow. The algorithm is found to be reliable and fast. By eliminating large, broad, uninteresting signals, many spectra can be subjected to fully automated absolute value processing, allowing objective preparation of spectra for pattern recognition analysis. In this paper, we propose a technique for building adaptive wavelets by means of an extension of the lifting scheme. Our scheme comprises an adaptive update lifting step and a fixed prediction lifting step. The adaptivity consists hereof that the system can choose between two different update filters, and that this choice is triggered by the local gradient of the original signal. If the gradient is large (in some seminorm sense) it chooses one filter, if it is small the other. We derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the invertibility of such an adaptive system for various scenarios. Furthermore, we present some examples to illustrate our theoretical results.  相似文献

We designed and fabricated a fully automatic fast face recognition optical parallel correlator [E. Watanabe and K. Kodate: Appl. Opt. 44 (2005) 5666] based on the VanderLugt principle. The implementation of an as-yet unattained ultra high-speed system was aided by reconfiguring the system to make it suitable for easier parallel processing, as well as by composing a higher accuracy correlation filter and high-speed ferroelectric liquid crystal-spatial light modulator (FLC-SLM). In running trial experiments using this system (dubbed FARCO), we succeeded in acquiring remarkably low error rates of 1.3% for false match rate (FMR) and 2.6% for false non-match rate (FNMR). Given the results of our experiments, the aim of this paper is to examine methods of designing correlation filters and arranging database image arrays for even faster parallel correlation, underlining the issues of calculation technique, quantization bit rate, pixel size and shift from optical axis. The correlation filter has proved its excellent performance and higher precision than classical correlation and joint transform correlator (JTC). Moreover, arrangement of multi-object reference images leads to 10-channel correlation signals, as sharply marked as those of a single channel. This experiment result demonstrates great potential for achieving the process speed of 10000 face/s.  相似文献
