Transverse mass distributions of protons produced in heavy-ion collisions at high energies

The transverse mass distributions of protons produced in Au-Au collisions at 8 A GeV and Pb-Pb collisions at 158 A GeV are calculated by using the Monte Carlo method in the framework of the multisource ideal gas model.It is found that our calculated results are in agreement with the experimental data in nucleus nucleus collisions at high energies.     

Fermions in light front transverse lattice quantum chromodynamics

We briefly describe motivations for studying transverse lattice QCD. Presence of constraint equation for fermion field on the light front allows different methods to put fermions on a transverse lattice. We summarize our numerical investigation of two approaches using (a) forward and backward derivatives and (b) symmetric derivatives.     

The extent of strangeness equilibration in quark gluon plasma

The evolution and production of strangeness from chemically equilibrating and transversely expanding quark gluon plasma which may be formed in the wake of relativistic heavy-ion collisions is studied with initial conditions obtained from the self screened parton cascade (SSPC) model. The extent of partonic equilibration increases almost linearly with the square of the initial energy density, which can then be scaled with the number of participants.     

The stable topology of 4-manifolds

The stable theory (which allows connected sums with S²×S²) is unified and extended using current 4-manifold techniques. Principal new results are a stable 5-dimensional s-cobordism theorem, and the fact that 1-connected smooth 4-manifold pairs stably have handle decompositions with no 1-handles.     

Transverse Vector Vertex Function and Transverse Ward-Takahashi Relations in QED

The transverse vector vertex function in momentum space in four-dimensional QED is derived in terms of a set of transverse Ward-Takahashi relations for the vector and the axial-vector vertices in the case of massless fermion.It is demonstrated explicitly that the transverse vector vertex function derived this way to one-loop order leads to the same result as one obtained in perturbation theory. This provides a basic approach to determine the transverse part of basic vertex function from the symmetry relations of the system.

为研究HIRFL-CSR电子冷却装置中电子束穿过电子冷却装置中弯曲螺线管后电子横向能量的变化,用POISSON程序计算出弯曲螺线管的磁场分布,考虑了空间电荷效应,用数值方法模拟计算了电子在弯曲螺线管中的运动情况,得到了电子束横向能量变化最小时磁场各分量与电子束能量和弯曲螺线管几何尺寸之间的关系,并获得了电子束横向能量在束流截面的空间分布。     

Magnetic properties of a hexagonal transverse Ising nanoisland

The magnetic properties of a hexagonal transverse Ising nanoisland have been calculated by the effective-field theory with correlations. The effects of surface coupling, interlayer coupling, and the competition between transverse fields at the surface shell and in the inner core on phase diagrams and magnetizations are examined. Meanwhile, the results are also compared with two different nanoislands which consist of two layers with nine atoms or five atoms in each of the layers.

Crowe IV型发育性髋关节发育不良在全髋关节置换术中横行截骨最佳位置的有限元分析

Crowe IV型髋关节发育不良（developmental dysplasia of the hip,DDH）的全髋关节置换术（total hip arthroplasty, THA）中,多数患者需要截骨保证复位,目前横行截骨是运用最广泛的术式,但截骨的最佳高度仍存在争议。本文通过建立Crowe IV型DDH患者的有限元模型,分析了在不同载荷下,不同截骨高度模型的应力分布与位移情况。结果表明：在多项指标下,小转子下0 cm的截骨高度均表现出了较优性能。在不影响假体安放和断端对合情况允许的情况下,推荐在手术中使用0 cm的截骨高度。

     

粘弹层合板的自由振动和横向应力

Based on Reddy＇s layerwise theory, the governing equations for dynamic response of viscoelastic laminated plate are derived by using the quadratic interpolation function for displacement in the direction of plate thickness. Vibration frequencies and loss factors are calculated for free vibration of simply supported viscoelastic sandwich plate, showing good agreement with the results in the literature. Harmonious transverse stresses can be obtained. The results show that the transverse shear stresses are the main factor to the delamination of viscoelastic laminated plate in lower-frequency free vibration, and the transverse normal stress is the main one in higher-frequency free vibration. Relationship between the modulus of viscoelastic materials and transverse stress is analyzed. Ratio between the transverse stress＇s maximum value and the in-plane stress＇s maximum-value is obtained. The results show that the proposed method, and the adopted equations and programs are reliable.
