Tactical problems involving uncertain actions

The purpose of this paper is to solve anm-silent versusn-silent duel with arbitrary accuracy functionsP andQ which are continuously differentiable in [0, 1] with positive derivatives in (0, 1) and such thatP(0)=Q(0)=0,P(1)(0, 1),Q(1)(0, 1). The game can be interpreted as a game in which the players know only that the numbers of their actions have binomial distribution.Part of this paper was written during the author's stay at the Institute of Statistics and Mathematical Economics, University of Karlsruhe, FRG. QoS enhancement in OFDM based systems under transceiver impairments

Broadband wireless systems generally use orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) with link adaptation (LA) to achieve high throughput while meeting bit error rate (BER) constraint. OFDM systems are known to be affected by non-linearity of high power amplifier (HPA) at transmitter, carrier frequency offset (CFO), symbol timing offset (STO) and channel estimation error at the receiver. The delay in feedback of channel state information (CSI) further affects the performance of LA procedures. The focus of this work is on performance analysis in presence of simultaneous affect of all these impairments on LA based OFDM systems. The results are found to be useful for threshold readjustment which is essential for successful implementation of LA scheme to counter the effects of change in operating conditions from ideal to as listed above.     

激光等离子体能量角分布及吸收定标律

主要研究激光平面靶等离子体发射能量角分布及吸收定标律。实验利用高斯型1.06μm激光脉冲,其能量为2～50J,脉冲宽度为0.3～2.2ns,靶面平均辐照强度为1.8×1013～1.1x10~(15)W/cm~2,光束以25°角入射。实验采用了Au、Ag、Ti、Al和C_8H_8等厚靶。用等离子体卡计测量靶面吸收的激光能量。用指数函数拟合实验数据,给出了吸收效率分别作为激光强度、脉冲宽度和靶材料原子序数的函数的定标关系式。这些关系式定性地与逆轫致吸收的理论关系式相一致。     

智能型高速CCD相机的时序电路的研制

首先详细地介绍了几种传统时序电路的实现方法与各自存在的优缺点 ,然后对 isp L SI器件的性能特点以及 TDI- CCD相机的组成结构、工作原理进行了简要地阐述 ,最后对采用 isp L SI器件实现 CCD相机时序电路的全过程进行了全面、细致地分析。本文结合实际课题 ,已由在线可编程大规模逻辑器件实现了高速 TDI- CCD相机的时序电路。此相机系统具有一些重要参数 (行周期、TDI级数、视频信号的增益、偏置参数 ) ,并可以灵活控制。同时该系统又具有高可靠性、高稳定性、低功耗等特点。     

时分复用信号中的全光时钟提取实验

利用非均匀复用后的时分复用 (OTDM)信号 ,从 4× 2 .5GHz的时分复用光脉冲信号中直接提取出复用前的2 5GHz分路时钟信号。此技术可用于高速率时分复用光纤通信系统的解复用中的时钟提取。     

延时法测量条纹相机μs档扫描非线性

为实现μs档条纹相机扫描非线性标定,建立了基于延时可调信号源和外触发激光器的条纹相机μs档扫描非线性标定系统,弥补了标准具法的不足。系统通过延时值的递增,得到条纹相机扫描速度在全扫程的变化。系统中时间关系抖动来源主要是测试设备延时抖动和条纹相机触发延时抖动。时间抖动测试与分析显示,条纹相机延时抖动±0.6ns,测试设备延时抖动±0.3ns,系统总时间抖动±0.7ns。系统时间抖动会造成最终时间轴信息的起伏。大量数值模拟分析表明,时间轴起伏对系统时间抖动的影响±2ns,在可以接受的范围内。因此,该系统能够胜任条纹相机μs扫程时间信息的测量标定。     

多思路巧妙测量阻尼常数及计时仪器的开发

本文从物理实验测量和计时仪器开发两个方面同时入手,从运动学角度出发,分别选用U形和条形遮光片,且灵活利用通用计数器的各个功能,综合提炼出7种实验方案测量阻尼常数,其测量值在1.31～1.53之间,实验结果重复性和一致性较好.同时开发新的计时仪器,直接应用于本实验,使测量过程变得简单易行.     

Optimal timing of interventions in fishery resource and pest management

Assuming that a fish population follows the continuous logistic growth or the discrete Beverton-Holt model, several optimal impulsive harvesting policies for the maximum stock level of the fish at the end of a fishing season are investigated under the condition of fixed intensity and frequency of impulsive harvesting. The optimal impulsive harvesting moments for all cases considered are given analytically and the related numerical simulations are also provided. Furthermore, the methods employed can also be used to investigate the optimal timing of chemical control in pest management. Our results confirm that the optimal timing of pesticide applications such that the density of the pest population is minimal at any time during a planting season or the average of density of the pest population over the planting season is minimal is the beginning of the planting season. In practice, the results can be used to guide the fisherman to manage fisheries and guide farmers to control pests.     

On timing Jitter in wavelength-division multiplexed soliton systems

Collision-induced timing shifts in a wavelength-division multiplexed soliton system are computed when damping, amplification, filtering and positive dispersion management following the loss profile are included. A statistical analysis is presented which takes into account the resulting effect of the large number of collisions occurring in the fiber. Analytic expressions are derived for the root mean square timing jitter and the maximum length of error-free transmission with an arbitrary number of channels. An extensive analysis of system performance corresponding to situations with and without filters and/or dispersion management is carried out.
