On holonomy of Weyl connections in Lorentzian signature

Holonomy algebras of Weyl connections in Lorentzian signature are classified. In particular, examples of Weyl connections with all possible holonomy algebras are constructed.     

A rank-three condition for invariant (1, 2)-symplectic almost Hermitian structures on flag manifolds

This paper considers invariant (1, 2)-symplectic almost Hermitian structures on the maximal flag manifod associated to a complex semi-simple Lie group G. The concept of cone-free invariant almost complex structure is introduced. It involves the rank-three subgroups of G, and generalizes the cone-free property for tournaments related to 𝕊l (n,ℂ) case. It is proved that the cone-free property is necessary for an invariant almost-complex structure to take part in an invariant (1, 2)-symplectic almost Hermitian structure. It is also sufficient if the Lie group is not B _l , l ≥ 3, G ₂ or F ₄. For B _l and F ₄ a close condition turns out to be sufficient. Received: 28 October 2001     

On Locally Homogeneous G-structures

The notion of infinitesimal homogeneity is extended to arbitrary connections on G-structures. Two theorems of Singer type are proved for the extended notion. The results are applied to conformal and Weyl structures.     

Quaternionic complexes

Each regular or semi-regular integral affine orbit of the Weyl group of gl(2n + 2, ) invariantly determines a locally exact differential complex on a 4n dimensional quaternionic manifold. This gives quaternionic analogues of Dolbeault cohomology on complex manifolds. We compute the index of such complexes in the hyper-Kähler case, showing that quaternionic cohomology is not trivial.

Strictly nilpotent elements and bispectral operators in the Weyl algebra

In this paper we give another characterization of the strictly nilpotent elements in the Weyl algebra, which (apart from the polynomials) turn out to be all bispectral operators with polynomial coefficients. This also allows to reformulate in terms of bispectral operators the famous conjecture, that all the endomorphisms of the Weyl algebra are automorphisms (Dixmier, Kirillov, etc).

We study bounded and unbounded *-representations of Twisted Generalized Weyl Algebras and algebras similar to them for different choices of involutions.

Discrete Dynamical Systems with W(A (1) m−1 × A (1) n−1) Symmetry

We give a birational realization of affine Weyl group of type A ⁽¹⁾ _m–1 × A ⁽¹⁾ _n–1. We apply this representation to construct some discrete integrable systems and discrete Painlevé equations. Our construction has a combinatorial counterpart through the ultra-discretization procedure.
