The surface morphologies of poly(styrene‐b‐4vinylpyridine) (PS‐b‐P4VP) diblock copolymer and homopolystyrene (hPS) binary blend thin films were investigated by atomic force microscopy as a function of total volume fraction of PS (?PS) in the mixture. It was found that when hPS was added into symmetric PS‐b‐P4VP diblock copolymers, the surface morphology of this diblock copolymer was changed to a certain degree. With ?PS increasing at first, hPS was solubilized into the corresponding domains of block copolymer and formed cylinders. Moreover, the more solubilized the hPS, the more cylinders exist. However, when the limit was reached, excessive hPS tended to separate from the domains independently instead of solubilizing into the corresponding domains any longer, that is, a macrophase separation occurred. A model describing transitions of these morphologies with an increase in ?PS is proposed. The effect of composition on the phase morphology of blend films when graphite is used as a substrate is also investigated. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. There is a current need for alternative coatings that can provide corrosion resistance to metals or alloy surfaces due to the environmental hazards posed by conventional coatings. Herein, we report on novel organically-modified sol–gel coatings for the protection of metal and alloy surfaces. The basic concept of chemical conversion of metal surfaces is based on deposition of a hydrophobic, nonporous sol–gel barrier layer for surface protection and corrosion prevention. The properties of these organosilica coatings can be tuned by varying the composition of precursors. The evaluation of hydrophobicity, adhesive strength, and anticorrosion properties of organically-modified sol–gel derived coatings suggests their potential utility as technologically-compatible alternatives to conventional coatings. 相似文献

以铝酸镧(001)单晶为基片,采用两步法制备Tl2Ba2CaCu2Oy(Tl 2212)高 温超导薄膜.首先,利用脉冲激光沉积(PLD)工艺沉积Ba2CaCu2Ox非晶前驱体薄膜;然后,前驱体薄膜在高温(720—850℃)下密封钢容器里铊化结晶形成Tl 2212薄膜.XRD结果表明Tl2212 薄膜是沿c轴方向生长的,其相组成为Tl 2212,摇摆曲线(0012)的半高宽为0.72° ,SEM图像显示其表面光滑平整,其零电阻温度为106.2K.

We study the asymptotic behaviour of the solution of a stationary quasilinear elliptic problem posed in a domain Ω(ε) of asymptotically degenerating measure, i.e. meas Ω(ε) → 0 as ε → 0, where ε is the parameter that characterizes the scale of the microstructure. We obtain the convergence of the solution and the homogenized model of the problem is constructed using the notion of convergence in domains of degenerating measure. Changes in thin zinc-sulfide films under the action of the γ-radiation of Co60 are studied by investigating electroluminescence spectra of terbium embedded in these films as a luminescent probe. It is
shown that changes in the relation of the intensities of bands, a decrease in their halfwidth and the background component,
and simplification of the spectrum are observed in a short-wave region of the Tb radiation spectrum that corresponds to5D3→7Fj transitions. The same modification of the radiation spectrum is characteristic of ZnS films whose crystalline structure is
ordered in the course of thermal annealing at a temperature of 350°C. Based on the analysis of the data obtained it is inferred
that irradiating the ZnS films with small radiation doses of 104–105 rad leads to the ordering of their crystalline structure due to the elimination of one of the types of structural defects.

A method for finding the optimum sizes of pigment particles, their volume concentration, and the paint coating thickness that
provide the covering power and the required coloristic characteristics of reflected light for the minimum flow rate of pigments

is extended to coatings of complex composition. The capabilities of the method are demonstrated by examples of coatings of
mixtures of hematite and rutile particles in a binder with n=1.5 for variations of the modal size and the half-width of the

A new “bright blood” strategy, outflow refreshment imaging, is introduced in which a number of overlapping slices are excited in rapid succession. Flowing spins that refresh each overlapped slice portion contribute a bright signal. Additionally, static tissue in each non-overlapped slice portion also yields a bright signal. However, the flow/static contrast is comparable to that produced in inflow refreshment images, and angiograms can be generated by conventional maximum intensity projection processing. The dual ability to visualize angiograms and static tissue images is a major benefit of the strategy. Computer simulations of flow sensitivities and in vivo results are presented which compare the outflow and inflow refreshment imaging strategies. 相似文献

The dynamic response of trilayer magnetoresistive permalloy/Cu/Co films was studied by high-frequency permeability spectra measurements. The resonance frequency is shown to depend on the interlayer copper thickness.
