The decomposition of urea adducts with hydrocarbons is treated as a first-order phase transition and the pressure dependence is studied up to 0.7 GPa for several kinds of adducts. The thermodynamic quantities at the decomposition of the adduct can be analysed as a sum of those quantities of the component materials. The transition from the orthorhombic to the hexagonal form of the adduct with polyethylene is also investigated by X-ray diffraction and the pressure dependence of the lattice parameters is measured for the adducts. The results are compared with the phase transition in the pure paraffin.  相似文献

用abinitioMO方法,在MP2(ful)/6311G水平下,全优化计算了叠氮化钠(NaN3)分子的线状和环状两种稳定构型及其转化过渡态的几何参数、电荷分布、分子总能量和振动频率,并研究了它们的热力学性质及转化速率常数和平衡常数.结果表明,线状比环状构型稍稳定(能量低6.04kJ/mol);两者相互转化的能垒分别为13.15kJ/mol(线型→环状)和7.11kJ/mol(环状→线型).热力学和动力学计算均表明:NaN3通常主要以线型结构存在(占85%以上),且随温度升高而增多(在1000K大于91%).  相似文献

Experimentally determined are the enthalpies of solution of 12 electrolytes (LiBr, LiI, NaBr, NaI, NaBPh4, Et4NCl, Et4NBr, Pr4Br, Bu4NBr, Am4NBr, Ph4PCl, Ph4PBr) in ethanol at –50 to 55°C. sHo values obtained on the basis of four different extrapolation equations are analyzed. The effect of temperature changes on the thermodynamic parameters of solvation indindividual ions are calculated using thermodynamic data for the salt crystals (lattice) with the assumption that solvC p o (Ph4P+)=solvC p o (Ph4P-).  相似文献

Mixed micelles can be formed in water between various pairs of hydrophobic solutes such as surfactants, alcohols and hydrocarbons. These systems can often be studied through the thermodynamic functions of transfer of one of the solutes, usually kept near infinite dilution, from water to an aqueous solution of the other solute. When mixed micelles are formed, these functions change significantly, and often go through extrema, in the region where the binary system micellizes or undergoes some microphase transition.Three main effects are responsible for the observed trends: pair-wise interactions between both solutes in the monomeric form, a distribution of the reference solute between the aqueous and micellar phases and a shift in the monomer-micelle equilibrium in the vicinity of the reference solute. Simple equations can be derived for these three effects which can account for the sign and magnitude of the observed trends using parameters which are derived for the most part from the two binary systems.  相似文献

在量子化学对SiH与H2O和H2S反应计算的基础上,运用统计热力学和Wigner校正的Eyring过渡态理论,计算了上述两反应在200~2000 K温度范围内的热力学函数、平衡常数、频率因子A和速率常数随温度的变化。计算结果表明,两反应在低温下具有热力学优势,而在高温下具有动力学优势。比较两反应的计算结果发现,在相同的温度下,SiH与H2O反应比SiH与H2S反应放热较多,但速率常数却较小。SiH与H2O反应和前文报道的SiH与HF反应的比较表明,SiH与H2O反应放热较少,而且在相同温度下,速率常数也较小。  相似文献

An ion-exchange method was used to determine complexation constants for the Ni-oxalate and Ni-carbonate systems in a NaClO4 background electrolyte. The Ni-oxalate data were interpreted in terms of a single Niox(aq) complex having log K 1 values for Ni2+ + ox2– Niox(aq) of 3.9 ± 0.1 (I.S. = 0.5 mol-L–1 p[H] = 7.1) and 4.4 ± 0.1 (I.S. = 0.1 mol-L–1 p[H] = 8.6) at 22 ± 1C. Specific ion-interaction theory (SIT) was used to obtain log K 1 = 5.17 ± 0.05 (95% confidence level and = –0.23 ± 0.15) at I.S. = 0. The Ni-carbonate studies were carried out at p[H] values of 7.5, 8.5, and 9.6 in 0.5 mol-L–1 NaClO4/NaHCO3 solutions. The NiCO3(aq) species was the dominant complex in the [CO3 2–] concentration ranges studied at all three p[H] values. A log K 1 value for Ni2+ + CO3 2– NiCO3(aq) of 2.9 ± 0.3 was deduced at I.S. = 0.5 mol-L–1. Extrapolating this value to zero ionic strength using the SIT approach yielded log K 1 = 4.2 ± 0.3 (95% confidence level and = –0.26 ± 0.04). The data allowed upper bound values for the complexation constants for NiHCO3 + and Ni(CO3)2 2– to be estimated, i.e., log K < 1.4 for Ni2+ + HCO3 NiHCO3 +, and log K 2 < 2 for NiCO3(aq) + CO3 2– Ni(CO3)2 2–, respectively.  相似文献

We provide a quick elementary solution of the mean spherical model in a random external field. This also allows an immediate proof of the self-averaging property of the free energy. We calculate the free energy by means of the replica method, i.e., for any (not necessarily integer) replica numbern, and show that when a phase transition occurs the limits andn 0 are not interchangeable.  相似文献

In an adiabatic vacuum calorimeter, the temperature dependence of the heat capacity C p of phenylated polyphenylene and initial comonomer 1,4-bis(2,4,5-triphenylcyclopentadienone-3-yl)benzene was studied between 6 and 340 K with an uncertainty of about 0.2%. In a calorimeter with a static bomb and an isothermal shield their energies of combustion DUcomb were measured. From the experimental data, the thermodynamic functions C p 0 (T), H 0(T)-H 0(0), S 0(T)-S0(0), G 0(T)-H 0(0) were calculated from 0 to 340 K, and standard enthalpies of combustion ΔH comb 0 and thermodynamic parameters of formation-enthalpies ΔH f 0, entropies ΔH f 0, Gibbs functions ΔG f 0 - of the substances studied were estimated at T=298.15 K at standard pressure. The results were used to calculate the thermodynamic characteristics (ΔH f 0S f 0, ΔG f 0) of phenylated polyphenylene synthesis in the range from 0 to 340 K. Apparent equilibrium constants and calorimetric enthalpies of reaction have been measured for the reaction L-tryptophan(aq) + H2O(l) = indole(aq) + pyruvate(aq) + ammonia(aq) which is catalyzed by L-tryptophanase. High-pressure liquid-chromatography and microcalorimetery were used to perform these measurements. The equilibrium measurements were performed as a function of pH, temperature, and ionic strength. The results have been interpreted with a chemical equilibrium model to obtain thermodynamic quantities for the reference reaction: L-tryptophan(aq) + H2O(l) = indole(aq) + pyruvate(aq) + NH 4 + (aq). At T=25°C and Im=O the results for this reaction are: Ko=(1.05±0.13)×10–4, G°=(22.71±0.33) kJ-mol–1, H°=(62.0±2.3) kJ-mol–1, and S°=(132±8) J-K–1-mol–1. These results have been used together with thermodynamic results from the literature to calculate standard Gibbs energies of formation, standard enthalpies of formation, standard molar entropies, standard molar heat capacities, and standard transformed formation properties for the substances participating in this reaction.Presented at the Symposium, 76th CSC Congress, Sherbrooke, Quebec, May 30–June 3, 1993, honoring Professor Donald Patterson on the occasion of his 65th birthday.  相似文献
