ELASTIC CALCULATION OF STRESSES IN RINGS USING AIRY STRESS FUNCTION

Stress calculation formulae for a ring have been obtained by using Airy stress function of the plane strain field with the decomposition of the solutions for normal stresses of Airy biharmonic equation into two parts when it is loaded under two opposite inside forces along a diameter. One part should fulfill a constraint condition about normal stress distribution along the circumference at an energy valley to do the minimum work. Other part is a stress residue constant. In order to verify these formulae and the computed results, the computed contour lines of equi-maximal shear stresses were plotted and quite compared with that of photo-elasticity test results. This constraint condition about normal stress distribution along circumference is confirmed by using Greens’ theorem. An additional compression exists along the circumference of the loaded ring, explaining the divorcement and displacement of singularity points at inner and outer boundaries.

讨论了两列光波发生干涉现象的理想化条件和在实验中能否观察到干涉现象发生的操作性条件，推导了各种情况下的理论公式。从工程应用的角度出发，研究了检测仪器的响应时间T和光强分辨能力对观察光的干涉现象的影响，提出了观察光的干涉现象的第四个必要条件，对在各种情况下应用光的干涉现象有一定的指导作用。     

A study on odd-parity high-lying states of the Sm atom with three-color resonant excitation

The odd-parity high-lying states of the Sm atom are investigated systematically by a three-color resonant excitation scheme with two different excitation paths.The two intermediate states,4f 6 6s7s 7 F 0 and 4f 6 6s7s 7 F 1 are employed for paths I and II,respectively.Fifty-seven bound states are detected with paths I and II in the energy range between 44188 and 45515 cm 1,while 64 autoionizing states are found in the energy range from 45528 to 45761 cm 1.Not only the level energies of all observed states,b...     

单重态H_2N=B:→HNBH重排反应的理论研究

用量子化学中的从头算方法, 在MP2/6-311++G(d,p)水平上研究了单重态H_2N=B→HNBH重排反应的机理。结果表明, 该重排反应经过一个三元环过渡态。根据计算结果，初步讨论了该反应的热力学及动力学函数。     

三硼酸锂晶体的多光子散射

本文报道三硼酸锂(LBO)晶体的瞬态前向相干多光子散射,实验表明LBO晶体内部同时发生x~(2)和x~(3)非线性相互作用过程,而未发现光耦合效应,测量了LBO晶体的光栅寿命上限.     

Laser resonator with balanced thermal lenses

An adaptive negative thermal lens that compensates for the power-dependent positive thermal lens in a transversally diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser rod is presented. We demonstrate that the proposed technique leads to a reduction of the total thermal lens by more than an order of magnitude.     

Influence of cubic nonlinearity on the dispersion relation for long waves on a water surface

The influence of cubic nonlinearity on the dispersion relation for long waves on a water surface is analyzed. In the long wavelength limit, it is shown that the dispersion relation is not affected by the cubic terms. The results are compared with the dispersion relation for stationary solutions to the Korteweg—de Vries equation.     

激光拉曼分光计中超低杂散光的测试

本文提出了一种测试激光拉曼分光计中超低杂散光的新方法.实验结果表明,本方法的杂散光测量限可达10~(-14)量级.     

Unusual formation of hydroperoxides in the reactions of substituted spiro[pyrazolinecyclopropanes]

3-Cyano- and 3-(alkoxycarbonyl)spiro[2-pyrazoline-5,1’-cyclopropane] and 5-phenylspiro[1-pyrazoline-3,1’-cyclopropane] undergo unusual transformations into 3(5)-substituted 5(3)-(2-hydroperoxyethyl)pyrazoles in the presence of atmospheric oxygen. The conditions for the formation of hydroperoxides (e.g., in oxygen-saturated solutions of spiro[2-pyrazoline-5,1’-cyclopropanes] in CHCl₃) and their conversion into (2-hydroxyethyl)pyrazoles or the corresponding nitrates under the action of nitrosating reagents were considered.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Anode-Shape Determination with Allowance for Electrolyte Properties in Problems of Dimensional Electrochemical Machining of Metals

Based on the boundary-element technique, a method for determining the contour of an anode-workpiece with a prescribed shape of a cathode-tool is suggested for plane problems of dimensional electrochemical machining of metals. Within the scope of the assumptions made, the original problem is reduced to the problem of a fictitious flow of an ideal fluid with free surfaces. The allowance for the machining mode and electrolyte properties yields a nonlinear condition at the free surface.
