The extraction of pyridine-2-aldehyde-2-quinolylhydrazone chelates of cadmium, cobalt, copper, nickel, and zinc into isoamyl alcohol (IAOL) and methylisobutyl ketone (MIBK) has been investigated as a basis for the determination of these metals. Below pH 6 the extraction is enhanced by the addition of perchlorate, suggesting that charged complexes are being extracted by ion-pair formation. Sensitivities (1% absorption) are reported for IAOL and MIBK solutions of the metals sprayed into an air-acetylene flame. A procedure for the determination of the above metals by atomic absorption spectroscopy after extraction is given. The procedure is applied to the analysis of tap water for cadmium, copper, and zinc.  相似文献

Abstract

The use of methane chemical ionisation GC/MS gave satisfactory results when applied to environmental analysis of halogenated octylphenol polyethoxylates residues. In addition the selected ion monitoring GC/MS technique has been successfully applied for simulataneous qualitative and quantitative determination of some refractory metabolites of nonylphenol polyethoxylates in secondary sewage effluent and surface waters.  相似文献

Samples of surface sediments and tissues (liver and muscle) of commercially available European silver eels (Anguilla anguilla L.) collected from Varano lagoon (Italy) were analysed to determine trace element contents. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to highlight both the differences between sampling sites and the influence of channel discharges. Atomic ratios indices for sediment data and biological enrichment factors (BEF) for eel tissues were calculated in order to evaluate the enrichment factor due to human activities. The highest levels of As (11.9?µg?g?1) and Zn (14.1?µg?g?1) were observed in the south-eastern zone of the lagoon, which is influenced by urban and agricultural discharges. The low levels of Hg observed in this study (0.04?µg?g?1) led us to exclude both natural and human local sources of this element. Trace element concentrations of all elements were lower in muscle than in liver tissue. Significant enrichment of Cu and Zn was found in livers.  相似文献

A novel Rh(III)-imprinted amino-functionalised silica gel sorbent was prepared by a surface imprinting technique for preconcentration and separation of Rh(III) prior to its determination by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Compared with the traditional solid sorbents and non-imprinted polymer particles, the ion-imprinted polymers (IIPs) had higher adsorption capacity and selectivity for Rh(III). The maximum static adsorption capacity of the imprinted and non-imprinted sorbent for Rh(III) was 29.86?mg?g?1 and 11.23?mg?g?1, respectively. The imprinted Rh(III) was removed with 2?mL of 3% thiourea?+?2?mol?L?1 HCl. The obtained imprinted particles exhibited excellent selectivity and rapid kinetics process for Rh(III). The relatively selective factor (αr) values of Rh(III)/Ru(III), Rh(III)/Au(III), Rh(III)/Pt(IV), Rh(III)/Ir(IV), Rh(III)/Pd(II) were 26.7, 39.0 29.2, 28.1, 43.7, respectively, which were greater than 1. The detection limit (3σ) of the method was 0.26?µg?L?1. The relative standard deviation of the method was 1.79% for eight replicate determination of 10?µg of Rh3+ in 200?mL water sample. The method was validated by analysing standard reference material (GBW 07293), the results obtained is in good agreement with standard values. The developed method was also successfully applied to the determination of trace rhodium(III) in geological samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Highly α‐selective sialylation of sialic acid N‐phenyltrifluoroacetimidate with various galactose and lactose acceptors has been achieved by introducing the C‐5 N‐phthalyl group on the donor. The “fixed dipole effect” of the N‐phthalyl group was proposed to explain the high reactivity and α‐selectivity. The microfluidic system was applied to the present α‐sialylation, which is amenable to large‐scale synthesis. The N‐phthalyl group was removed by treatment with methylhydrazine acetate, for which protocol can be readily applied to the synthesis of a variety of sialic acid‐containing oligosaccharides.   相似文献

Enhanced harvesting of visible light is vital to the development of highly efficient dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Nanosilver‐decorated TiO2 nanofibers (Ag@TiO2 NFs) were synthesized by depositing chemically reduced Ag ions onto the surface of electrospun TiO2 nanofibers (TiO2 NFs). The prepared Ag@TiO2 NFs were coated with SiO2 (SiO2@Ag@TiO2 NFs) by using PVP as coupling agent for protecting corrosion of Ag nanoparticle by I?/${{\rm I}{{- \hfill \atop 3\hfill}}}$ solution. The fabricated SiO2@Ag@TiO2 NFs demonstrated a synergistic effect of light scattering and surface plasmons, leading to an enhanced light absorption. Moreover, an anode consisting of SiO2@Ag@TiO2 NFs incorporating TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) increased light harvesting without substantially sacrificing dye attachment. The power conversion efficiency increased from 6.8 to 8.7 % for a thick film (10 μm), that is, 28 %. These results suggest that SiO2@Ag@TiO2 NFs are promising materials for enhanced light absorption in dye‐sensitized solar cells.  相似文献

New and chemoselective gold(I)‐catalyzed transformations of 1‐(arylethynyl)‐7‐oxabicyclo[4.1.0]‐ heptan‐2‐ones were developed. Two completely different products—6,7‐dihydrobenzofuran‐4(5H)‐ones and benzofurans—could be obtained from the same starting material. The selectivity is determined by the ligand of the gold catalyst: triphenylphosphine delivers 6,7‐dihydrobenzofuran‐4(5H)‐ones, and 1,3‐bis(diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene leads to benzofurans. Eleven examples of each case are provided. The mechanistic suggestions for the pathways to both product types are supported by isotope labeling experiments.  相似文献

A systematic study of the influence of solvent and the size of C3‐symmetric discotics on their supramolecular polymerization mechanism is presented. The cooperativity of the self‐assembly of the reported compounds is directly related to their gelation ability. The two series of C3‐symmetric discotics investigated herein are based on benzene‐1,3,5‐tricarboxamides (BTAs) and oligo(phenylene ethynylene)‐based tricarboxamides (OPE? TAs) that are peripherally decorated with achiral ( 1 a and 2 a ) or chiral N‐(2‐aminoethyl)‐3,4,5‐trialkoxybenzamide units ( 1 b and 2 b ). The supramolecular polymerization of compounds 1 a , b and 2 a , b has been exhaustively investigated in a number of solvents and by using various techniques: variable‐temperature circular dichroism (VT‐CD) spectroscopy, concentration‐dependent 1H NMR spectroscopy, and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC). The supramolecular polymerization mechanism of compounds 2 is highly cooperative in solvents such as methylcyclohexane and toluene and is isodesmic in CHCl3. Unexpectedly, chiral compound 1 b is practically CD‐silent, in contrast with previously reported BTAs. ITC measurements in CHCl3 demonstrated that the supramolecular polymerization of BTA 1 a is isodesmic. These results confirm the strong influence of the π‐surface of the central aromatic core of the studied discotic and the branched nature of the peripheral side chains on the supramolecular polymerization. The gelation ability of these organogelators is negated in CHCl3, in which the supramolecular polymerization mechanism is isodesmic.  相似文献
