The structure of Cu2Fe2Ge4O13, previously thought to be CuFeGe2O6, has been determined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data to be monoclinic, P21/m, a=12.1050(6), b=8.5073(4), c=4.8736(2) Å, β=96.145(1)°, Z=2, with R1=0.0231 and wR2=0.0605. The unique structure has an oligomer of four germanate tetrahedra, cross-linked laterally by square-planar copper ions, joined end-to-end by a zigzag chain of edge-sharing iron oxide octahedra. Running along the a-direction the metal oxide chain consists of alternating Cu-Cu and Fe-Fe dimers. A hypothetical series of homologous structures (Cun−2Fe2GenO3n+1 with n=3,4,…,∞) with different length germanate oligomers is proposed, where as n increases, the infinite chain of the CuGeO3 is approached. In this context, Cu2Fe2Ge4O13 is viewed as being built from blocks of CuGeO3 and the Fe oxide chains. This material has significance to the study of low-dimensional mixed-spin systems. 相似文献

Heterometallic Coii-Lii compounds with N-heterocyclic carbene 1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (IMes), tri phenylphosphine (Ph3P) and pyridine (py), [Co2Li2(Piv)6(IMes)2] (Piv is the anion of pivalic acid), [Co2Li2(Piv)6(Ph3P)2] and [Co2Li2(Fur)6(py)2] (Fur is the anion of 2-furoic acid), respectively, have been prepared and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. Easy-plane magnetic anisotropy in Coii complexes with pseudo-tetrahedral cores CoO3X (X = C, P and N) was revealed by measuring the magnetic properties together with quantum-chemical calculations using the SA-CASSCF/NEVPT2 approach. The field-induced slow magnetic relaxation of the complexes was mainly attributed to the Raman and direct processes. 相似文献

Dinuclear ytterbium and erbium based bifunction complexes Ln2L2(depma2)Cl2 (1-Ln, Ln = Yb and Er, H2L = N1,N3-bis(salicylideneimino)diethylenetriamine, depma2 = dimerized 9-diethyl-phosphonomethylanthracene) are reported. They undergo thermo-induced consecutive phase transitions, first the dissociation of depma2 ligand forming LnL(depma)Cl (2-Ln) and then the release of chloroethane forming LnL(epma) (3-Ln, epma = 9-ethylphosphonomethylanthrancene). The application of superspace groups to short-period superstructures is considered. For niobium tri-sulfide this is worked out in detail. It is shown that in that case the superspace group provides more symmetry then given by the space group of the supercell. Magnetic field design is important in cylindrical Hall thrusters and using permanent magnets to generate magnetic field is very promising in the future. In two typical permanent magnet configurations (i.e., ring and cylindrical configurations) of cylindrical Hall thrusters, discharge characteristics are compared in this paper through the experiments and simulations. The study shows that the cylindrical configuration can bring about higher thruster performance in the same working condition. The reason is that the potential drop of the cylindrical configuration is mainly concentrated in the channel, which is beneficial for the electrons to obtain energy to promote the ionization of the propellant. However, the voltage regulation range of the cylindrical configuration is lower because the anode is more easily overheated. 相似文献

Large single crystals of La2−xSrxCuO4 (LSCO) high-Tc superconductors were grown by the infrared heating floating zone (IR-FZ) method using a tilting-mirror-type image furnace. The maximum diameter of the LSCO crystals increased to 10 mm in the tilting-mirror-type image furnace from 6 mm in the conventional image furnace. CuO rich feeds were required for the crystal growth using the tilting-mirror-type image furnace to compensate for the lack of CuO caused by the significant evaporation of CuO during the growth. The evaporation of CuO was affected by the tilting angle of the mirrors of the image furnace and by feed diameter. The optimized growth conditions were as follows: mirror tilting angle, 20°; feed diameter, 10 mm∅; and feed composition 50.7 mol% CuO. 相似文献

We consider a normal–superconducting junction in order to investigate the effect of new physical ingredients on waiting times. First, we study the interplay between Andreev and specular scattering at the interface on the distribution of waiting times of electrons or holes separately. In that case the distribution is not altered dramatically compared to the case of a single quantum channel with a quantum point contact since the interface acts as an Andreev mirror for holes. We then consider a fully entangled state originating from splitting of Cooper pairs at the interface and demonstrate a significant enhancement of the probability to detect two consecutive electrons in a short time interval. Finally, we discuss the electronic waiting time distribution in the more realistic situation of partial entanglement. 相似文献

Synchrotron infrared beamlines are powerful tools on which to perform spectroscopy on microscopic length scales but require working with large bending‐magnet source apertures in order to provide intense photon beams to the experiments. Many infrared beamlines use a single toroidal‐shaped mirror to focus the source emission which generates, for large apertures, beams with significant geometrical aberrations resulting from the shape of the source and the beamline optics. In this paper, an optical layout optimized for synchrotron infrared beamlines, that removes almost totally the geometrical aberrations of the source, is presented and analyzed. This layout is already operational on the IR beamline of the Brazilian synchrotron. An infrared beamline design based on a SOLEIL bending‐magnet source is given as an example, which could be useful for future IR beamline improvements at this facility. 相似文献
