Crosslinked CMC‐N/PAAm hydrogel were prepared using electron beam irradiation. The factors affecting the degree of crosslinking and swelling behavior of the prepared copolymer were determined. As the irradiation dose and/or PAAm concentration increase, the gel content increases. Preparation of super‐porous hydrogel was attained by the addition of ammonium carbonate as a gas‐blowing agent during the irradiation process. The surface morphology and pore structure of such a prepared hydrogel were examined using scanning electron microscopy. The ability of the prepared hydrogel to absorb and retain large amount of water and as simulating urine was measured. The results suggested the possible use of CMC‐Na/PAAm hydrogels in the personal care product industry. 相似文献

A super‐absorbent polymer was prepared by grafting copolymerization of acrylic acid onto Artemisia seed gum, using microwave irradiation and ammonium persulfate as an initiator. The effect of various preparation conditions on its water absorbency, such as the ratio of acrylic acid to Artemisia seed gum, degree of acrylic acid neutralization, amount of initiator and microwave irradiation time, was investigated by orthogonal tests. The optimal reaction conditions were 3 min (irradiation time), 70% neutralization degree of acrylic acid and 2% initiator on the basis of the mass of acrylic acid used. When the mass ratio of acrylic acid to Artemisia seed gum is 5:0.5, the product has a water absorbency close to 400 times at room temperature in distilled water, this indicated that is has a high water absorbency. The structure of the graft copolymer was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FT‐IR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Further more, this microwave irradiation processing method to prepare water absorbent materials has no industrial cast off produced, that is to say, this method is environmentally friendly. 相似文献

In the preceding papers of this series, we reported the synthesis of liquid-crystalline polyurethanes containing mesomorphic moieties in the main chain and in side chains [1–4]. Liquid crystalline polymers with side groups containing the cholesterol moiety have also been studied [5, 6]. The main focus of attention has centered around the study of phase transitions of acrylic and methacrylic derivatives of cholesterol. 以N,N′-亚甲基双丙烯酰胺为交联剂、过硫酸铵为引发剂、在微波辐照下对淀粉接枝丙烯酸盐共聚进行了系统的研究,确定了最佳的反应条件,合成了粉末状的高吸水性树脂。并用FTIR和固体NMR等方法探讨了淀粉一丙烯酸盐接枝共聚物的结构特征。实验结果表明,利用微波技术合成淀粉一丙烯酸盐接枝共聚物可实现一次合成、干燥,简化合成工艺。淀粉与丙烯酸盐质量比为40/100左右时产物的接枝率最大,且吸水速率明显高于化学法合成的高吸水树脂。 相似文献

The phenomena of super energy flows are studied theoretically and
numerically in a parallel-plate waveguide which is filled with two
layered equally-thick different media, i.e. air and specific
left-handed materials (LHM) with $\epsilon_{{\rm
r}1}=-1/(1+\delta)+\i\gamma$ and $\mu_{{\rm
r}1}=-(1+\delta)+\i\gamma$. In this special waveguide,
two-directional super-energy flows are excited by a three-dimensional
horizontal electric dipole at the same time, which has transmission
patterns different from those of two-dimensional source and
three-dimensional vertical electric dipole. We also show that the
retardation and loss in LHM are sensitive to the amplitude of super
power densities, and the dimensions of waveguide determine the

For the purpose of designing new functional super‐electron donors (SEDs), the structure and stability of analogous tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) compounds are investigated and compared with those of the parent TTF by quantum chemistry calculations. Density functional theory (DFT) method B3LYP in combination with the polarized continuum model (PCM) is employed to compute the standard redox potentials ( ) of about 80 neutral organic SEDs in acetonitrile. Theoretical models are evaluated through correlation with 40 available experimental data. Excellent agreement between the theoretical predictions and experimental data is found with a mean absolute deviation of 0.08 V.
