A quick estimation of the thickness of thin films deposited on glass plates is described in this paper. The principle of the method is based on the measurement of the Haidinger fringes generated by the film. For ease of observation and measurement, a commercial Fizeau-type interferometer such as a Zygo interferometer using a large angle of illumination has been used. The simple modification to observe the Haidinger fringes with the Fizeau-type interferometer is also described. The thickness of the film is related to the diameters of the Haidinger fringes. It is possible to estimate the thickness quickly by counting the number of fringes. A more accurate estimate can be obtained by the measurement of the diameters of the fringes and using these data in a formula that relates these two to the thickness of the film. The method is found to be useful for measuring the thickness of dichromated gelatin films (DCG) coated on a substrate to make holographic optical elements. Rechargeable magnesium batteries are a promising alternative to Li‐based energy storage because of their abundant and inexpensive components. The high sensitivity and reactivity of the organic Mg2+ electrolyte makes their development challenging. Herein, we develop a new hybrid electrolyte, based on three simple inorganic salts of MgCl2, AlCl3, and Mg(TFSI)2. The electrolyte exhibits unprecedented electrochemical performance for reversible deposition and stripping of Mg, with Coulombic efficiency up to 97 %, overpotential down to 0.10 V, good stability especially for aluminum and stainless‐steel current collectors. It maintained its activity even after introducing 2000 ppm water and it could be prepared from impure chemicals. A full cell with the hybrid electrolyte and Mg foil as anode, Mo6S8 as cathode gave a specific capacity of 98 mAh g?1 and maintained 94 % capacity after 100 cycles at a rate of 0.20 C, indicating the good compatibility of the hybrid electrolyte. 相似文献

Recently, IrV‐based perovskite‐like materials were proposed as oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalysts in acidic media with promising performance. However, iridium dissolution and surface reconstruction were observed, questioning the real active sites on the surface of these catalysts. In this work, Sr2MIr(V)O6 (M=Fe, Co) and Sr2Fe0.5Ir0.5(V)O4 were explored as OER catalysts in acidic media. Their activities were observed to be roughly equal to those previously reported for La2LiIrO6 or Ba2PrIrO6. Coupling electrochemical measurements with iridium dissolution studies under chemical or electrochemical conditions, we show that the deposition of an IrOx layer on the surface of these perovskites is responsible for their OER activity. Furthermore, we experimentally reconstruct the iridium Pourbaix diagram, which will help guide future research in controlling the dissolution/precipitation equilibrium of iridium species for the design of better Ir‐based OER catalysts. 相似文献

The selective detachment of undifferentiated human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from a thermal release coating, fabricated from a tailored poly(di(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate) (PDEGMA) homopolymer layer on gold, is reported. By exploiting the mild, thermally triggered release of iPS cell colonies in the absence of any releasing reagent, pluripotent iPS cells are shown to be selectively separated from spontaneously differentiated cells. The maintained pluripotency and high cell viability of detached and reseeded iPS cell colonies were confirmed and suggest the feasibility of a generally applicable platform approach for cell separation and purification in the context of iPS cell culture, differentiation of pathologically altered cells and normal cells, as well as isolation of different cell types derived from certain tissues, for example, from biopsies. 相似文献

介绍了一种提取Fabry-Perot(法布里-帕罗)干涉条纹圆心点坐标和条纹半径的新方法。首先对干涉图像依次进行二值化处理,对所得到的条纹强度曲线进行均平滤波和自适应滤波,根据条纹灰度值强度余弦函数分布的特点,对条纹灰度值数据进行最小二乘法拟合,获得条纹强度峰值坐标,通过精确的迭代算法,进而获得Fabry-Perot干涉条纹圆心点的坐标;然后再对干涉条纹进行圆周积分,从而可以确定每级Fabry-Perot干涉条纹的半径长度。该方法可提高计算精度,减小计算误差。 相似文献
