For the first time, the phonon energy per unit volume in a large anharmonic quasi-one-dimensional solid is determined by considering all polarizations of the various modes of phonon propagation and by assuming the solid as a lattice of atoms behaving as the Morse oscillators. In this context the equilibrium phonon occupation number, which is given by the Bose distribution, replaces formally the vibrational quantum number into the expression for the Morse-oscillator energy. In addition, the quasi-harmonic solid is discussed within the above framework so that the phonon energy per unit volume is calculated for a large quasi-harmonic and quasi-one-dimensional solid. 相似文献

The performance of optical wireless communication links depends strongly on the atmospheric conditions and the parameters of the link such as the propagation distance, the operation wavelength, jitter variance, attenuation coefficient and effective beam spot radius at the receiver. The analytical expression for the evaluation of the average capacity of optical wireless communication systems is derived, using the gamma-gamma distribution in the non-Kolmogorov atmosphere turbulence. The impact of atmospheric attenuation, beam wander and pointing errors on the average of the optical wireless communication link is investigated. It is shown that the capacity has a fluctuation curve, when power law α increases, and the power law α of minimum point in fluctuation curve is bigger as the non-Kolmogorov turbulence strength is stronger. 相似文献

We propose a square-core metallic nanotube array and investigate its optical transmission property theoretically. We find that the transmission spectra can be tuned by the width of square-core edge, the intertube spacing and the dielectric constants of the core and the embedding medium between the nanotubes. We show that there is a band gap over a wide optical wavelength, and its width, number and position are sensitive to the tunable parameters. We also discuss the situation of the rectangular-core nanotube arrays and present that modification of the size of internal holes leads to redshift of the transmission spectra. Based on the localized nature of the field distributions, we show that there are local plasmonic resonant modes that originate from multipolar plasmon polaritons and a large number of opposing surface charges build up in the gap between adjacent nanotubes. 相似文献

A novel quantum key distribution scheme based on the path-spin hybrid entanglement is proposed and analyzed. In this proposed scheme, the entanglement between the path and the spin degrees of freedom is confined locally with the single particle and transmitted in one-way direction. Two split pulses of a single spin-1/2 particle are not simultaneously transmitted through the public quantum channels for the security goal. The scheme is robust against any individual attack even in noisy environments. Moreover, it also has high-efficiency since one single particle can be used to generate one bit key on average. 相似文献

Upper bounds for the security of coherent-one-way (COW) quantum key distribution protocols have been analyzed by considering the one-pulse-attack [Branciard C, Gisin N and Scarani V (BGS) New J.Phys. (2008) 10 013031]. However, their security analysis was based on long distance case, and the typical value of the transmission distance is larger than 50 km. Applying the sharp continuity for the von Neumann entropy and some basic inequalities, we provide lower bounds for the security of modified coherent-one-way quantum key distribution protocol against the most general one-pulse-attack by only considering photon number resolved detectors that will be used in the receiver's side. 提出了一种研究混响室问题的理论分析方法,从理想混响室的离散概率模型出发,采用蒙特卡罗模拟来获得室内电磁场量及其相关物理量的概率统计特性。运用该方法获得了混响室内若干场量(均为归一化值)的概率密度函数、室内一段均匀无耗单导体传输线的负载平均耦合截面及负载电流响应模值的概率分布,所得结果与已有文献给出的结果(包括由解析公式计算或测量所得的结果)吻合良好。由于蒙特卡罗方法的普适性,采用该方法可以获得任意待分析参量的全部概率统计特性(只要样本数足够大)。同时该方法无需针对具体混响室进行,只要在其测试区域能较好地与理想混响室的基本概率模型相吻合,就能给出较精确的计算结果,且其计算量远远小于基于全波分析的蒙特卡罗方法。 相似文献
