We are interested in nonlocal eikonal equations describing the evolution of interfaces moving with a nonlocal, non-monotone velocity. For these equations, only the existence of global-in-time weak solutions is available in some particular cases. In this paper, we propose a new approach for proving uniqueness of the solution when the front is expanding. This approach simplifies and extends existing results for dislocation dynamics. It also provides the first uniqueness result for a Fitzhugh-Nagumo system. The key ingredients are some new perimeter estimates for the evolving fronts as well as some uniform interior cone property for these fronts. 相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notion of T*-extension of a Lie triple system. Then we show that T*-extension is compatible with nilpotency, solvability, and it preserves in certain sense the decomposition properties. In addition, we investigate the equivalence of T*-extensions using cohomology. Let a normed space X possess a tiling T consisting of unit balls. We show that any packing P of X obtained by a small perturbation of T is completely translatively saturated; that is, one cannot replace finitely many elements of P by a larger number of unit balls such that the resulting arrangement is still a packing.In contrast with that, given a tiling T of Rn with images of a convex body C under Euclidean isometries, there may exist packings P consisting of isometric images of C obtained from T by arbitrarily small perturbations which are no longer completely saturated. This means that there exists some positive integer k such that one can replace k−1 members of P by k isometric copies of C without violating the packing property. In this paper, the multiplicity of Lagrangian orbits on C2 smooth compact symmetric star-shaped hypersurfaces with respect to the origin in R2n is studied. New two-stage Rosenbrock schemes with complex coefficients are proposed for stiff systems of differential equations. The schemes are fourth-order accurate and satisfy enhanced stability requirements. A one-parameter family of L1-stable schemes with coefficients explicitly calculated by formulas involving only fractions and radicals is constructed. A single L2-stable scheme is found in this family. The coefficients of the fourth-order accurate L4-stable scheme previously obtained by P.D Shirkov are refined. Several fourth-order schemes are constructed that are high-order accurate for linear problems and possess the limiting order of L-decay. The schemes proposed are proved to converge. A symbolic computation algorithm is developed that constructs order conditions for multistage Rosenbrock schemes with complex coefficients. This algorithm is used to design the schemes proposed and to obtain fifth-order accurate conditions. 相似文献
