Frame Wavelets with Compact Supports for L^2（R^n）

The construction of frame wavelets with compact supports is a meaningful problem in wavelet analysis. In particular, it is a hard work to construct the frame wavelets with explicit analytic forms. For a given n × n real expansive matrix A, the frame-sets with respect to A are a family of sets in R^n. Based on the frame-sets, a class of high-dimensional frame wavelets with analytic forms are constructed, which can be non-bandlimited, or even compactly supported. As an application, the construction is illustrated by several examples, in which some new frame wavelets with compact supports are constructed. Moreover, since the main result of this paper is about general dilation matrices, in the examples we present a family of frame wavelets associated with some non-integer dilation matrices that is meaningful in computational geometry.     

Existence and Nonlinear Stability of Stationary States of the Schrödinger–Poisson System

We consider the Schrödinger–Poisson system in the repulsive (plasma physics) Coulomb case. Given a stationary state from a certain class we prove its nonlinear stability, using an appropriately defined energy-Casimir functional as Lyapunov function. To obtain such states we start with a given Casimir functional and construct a new functional which is in some sense dual to the corresponding energy-Casimir functional. This dual functional has a unique maximizer which is a stationary state of the Schrödinger–Poisson system and lies in the stability class. The stationary states are parameterized by the equation of state, giving the occupation probabilities of the quantum states as a strictly decreasing function of their energy levels.

Phase-Only Encryption and Single Path Decryption System Using Phase-Encoded Exclusive-OR Rules in Fourier Domain

A phase-only encryption scheme using phase-encoded exclusive-OR (XOR) rules in a Fourier plane and a single path decryption system are presented. To generate phase-only encrypted data, a zero-padded original image, multiplied by a random phase image, is Fourier transformed and its real-valued data is encrypted with key data by using phase-encoded XOR rules. Since the original information is encrypted on the Fourier plane, the proposed encryption is more tolerant to loss of key information by scratching or cutting than previous XOR encryption in a space domain. A decryption is simply performed based on 2-f setup with spatial filter by Fourier transform for multiplication phase-only encrypted data with phase-only key data. Due to single path architecture without a reference wave, the proposed system is resistant to mechanical vibrations and fluctuation. Numerical simulations have confirmed the validity of the proposed encryption scheme and simple decryption architecture.     

The Lagrangian Globalization Method for Nonsmooth Constrained Equations

The difficulty suffered in optimization-based algorithms for the solution of nonlinear equations lies in that the traditional methods for solving the optimization problem have been mainly concerned with finding a stationary point or a local minimizer of the underlying optimization problem, which is not necessarily a solution of the equations. One method to overcome this difficulty is the Lagrangian globalization (LG for simplicity) method. This paper extends the LG method to nonsmooth equations with bound constraints. The absolute system of equations is introduced. A so-called Projected Generalized-Gradient Direction (PGGD) is constructed and proved to be a descent direction of the reformulated nonsmooth optimization problem. This projected approach keeps the feasibility of the iterates. The convergence of the new algorithm is established by specializing the PGGD. Numerical tests are given. Lévy processes and Fourier multipliers

We study Fourier multipliers which result from modulating jumps of Lévy processes. Using the theory of martingale transforms we prove that these operators are bounded in Lp(Rd) for 1<p<∞ and we obtain the same explicit bound for their norm as the one known for the second order Riesz transforms.     

Moments of claims in a Markovian environment

This paper considers discounted aggregate claims when the claim rates and sizes fluctuate according to the state of the risk business. We provide a system of differential equations for the Laplace–Stieltjes transform of the distribution of discounted aggregate claims under this assumption. Using the differential equations, we present the first two moments of discounted aggregate claims in a Markovian environment. We also derive simple expressions for the moments of discounted aggregate claims when the Markovian environment has two states. Numerical examples are illustrated when the claim sizes are specified.     

高分辨阿达玛变换显微荧光图像分析(Ⅱ)单细胞DNA荧光图像生成、处理及自动定量分析研究

本研究把荧光显微镜，阿达玛变换多通道成像技术和计算机图象处理技术结合起来，建立了一种单细胞DNA荧光图像自动定量分析系统，对系统的成像原理、信号编码和解码方法及单细胞定量分析方法进行了讨论，分析结果表明，本系统提供的单细胞定量分析数据稳定可靠。
