The 124Ba nucleus is investigated on the basis of the method of statistical mechanics by assuming the nucleons to move in triaxially deformed Nilsson potential. The variation in the Fermi energies of protons and neutrons is studied as a function of spin and temperature. The Fermi energies determined as a function of angular momentum is used to study the dependence of shell correction on angular momentum using the Strutinsky smoothing procedure. The most important observation is that the shell correction is almost the same for all spins for 124Ba. The spin cutoff parameter and the single particle level density parameter are studied as a function of spin and temperature. Constant entropy lines drawn by plotting the excitation energy against angular momentum are found to be roughly at constant energy above the yrast line and are almost equally spaced. It is observed that no yrast traps are present for 124Ba.  相似文献

This article reports on the study of the interplay between magnetic coupling and spin transition in 2,2′-bipyrimidine (bpym)-bridged iron(II) dinuclear compounds. Coexistence of both phenomena has been observed in [Fe(bpym)(NCS)2]2bpym, [Fe(bpym)(NCSe)2]2bpym and [Fe(bt)(NCS)2]2bpym (bpym = 2,2′-bipyrimidine, bt = 2,2′-bithiazoline) by the action of external physical factors namely pressure or electromagnetic radiation. Competition between magnetic exchange and spin crossover has been studied in [Fe(bpym)(NCS)2]2bpym at 6.3 kbar. LIESST experiments carried out in [Fe(bpym)(NCSe)2]2bpym and [Fe(bt)(NCS)2]2bpym at 4.2 K have shown that is possible to achieve dinuclear molecules with different spin states in this class of compounds. The usefulness of quantum Hall effect (QHE) conductors and quantum dot (QD) devices is revealed by reviewing five remarkable effects. The first is the sensitive detection of terahertz (THz) radiation by QHE conductors. The second is the imaging of THz emission from non-equilibrium carriers in QHE conductors, by using scanning THz microscopes. The third is the single-photon detection of THz radiation in strong magnetic fields, which is carried out by incorporating a QHE electron system into a QD. Individual events of single-THz-photon absorption within the QD via cyclotron resonance cause the QD to electrically polarize, which, in turn, is detected as switches of the tunnel conductance through the QD. The fourth is the single-photon detection of THz radiation by using double QDs in the absence of a magnetic field. Both of the photon detectors are implemented in gate-voltage-induced lateral GaAs/AlGaAs QDs, and exploiting the extraordinary sensitivity of single-electron transistors to the charge. The fifth is the coherent control of nuclear spins in QHE conductors. Nuclear spins are (i) electrically polarized by unequally populating spin-split QHE edge channels via the hyperfine interaction, (ii) coherently controlled via pulsed nuclear magnetic resonance induced by local RF magnetic fields, and (iii) finally detected by the edge channels through resistance change of the Hall device. The controlled nuclear spins are limited to those along the edge channels, on the order of 109.  相似文献

(Anti)-/ferromagnetic Heisenberg spin models arise from discretization of Landau–Lifshitz models in micromagnetic modelling. In many applications it is essential to study the behavior of the system at a fixed temperature. A formulation for thermostatted spin dynamics was given by Bulgac and Kusnetsov, which incorporates a complicated nonlinear dissipation/driving term while preserving spin length. It is essential to properly model this term in simulation, and simplified schemes give poor numerical performance, e.g., requiring an excessively small timestep for stable integration. In this paper we present an efficient, structure-preserving method for thermostatted spin dynamics.  相似文献

用微玻璃珠研磨法将 p ARG7质粒转入到莱茵衣藻精氨酸依赖型、缺壁突变株品系 CC-1 61 8( arg7cw1 5 mt-)和 CC-1 61 7( arg7cw1 5 mt-)中 ,得到了一些不同的插入型突变转化子 .CC-1 61 7突变株品系的转化率为 72个 /μg DNA,CC-1 61 8突变株品系的转化率为 2 96个 /μg DNA,即转化率比 CC-1 61 7突变株品系高 .经多次转化共获得各种转化子 3 90 0多个 ,对它们进行荧光检测后检测出缺乏叶绿素 b的两个突变子ARGT3和 ARGT4,并进一步用高效液相色谱法对其光合色素含量进行检测结果证实 ,这两个突变体的确丧失了叶绿素 b合成能力 .它们将可作为 CBN1基因的克隆及其定位的有用的工具  相似文献

The character of reorganization of the short-range order and the scale structure during the ordering of glass forming melts is elaborated based on the results of diffraction and microscopic investigations of the ordered and glassy alloys in tellurium-germanium systems. For this purpose cooling curves reflecting the formation processes of structural levels in real time are analyzed and the effective activation energies are estimated.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to show that it is possible to represent a quantum particle with a spin with the help of a star product and a flat supermanifold. We extend to the supermanifolds the Schouten bracket, the exterior differentiation, the Lie derivative. These notions allow us to define the Poisson bracket and the symplectic supermanifolds. It is easy to define the Moyal product: the Grassman algebra of the superfunctions becomes a Clifford algebra. We suppose that the observables of a quantum particle with a spin are superfunctions defined on a flat supermanifold. The study of these star algebras proves the existence of a spectral resolution for some particular elements. Consequently the equation of motion for an observable admits stationary solutions. The examples considered show that the spin splits a given state into two other ones.  相似文献

Polymer matrix composites, based on brominated epoxy, a type of material widely used in printed circuit boards (PCBs), as matrix and AlN particle as filler were prepared. The influences of AlN content on the mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties of the composites were investigated by uniaxial tensile test, TMA, thermal conductivity measurement, DMA, and dielectric properties measurement. It was found that the properties of composites monotonically varied with AlN content except that maximum tensile strength and strain of composites corresponded to a filler content of 10 wt %. The results of DMA also showed the AlN reinforcement was more pronounced above Tg, and the peak area of tan δ versus T curves decreased with AlN content, which implied the damping capacity of the composite gradually decreased. The increase in Tg and decrease in damping were probably due to strong interaction between the AlN and epoxy matrix inhibiting the mobility of the epoxy chain. In addition, different theoretical models reported in the literature were used to predict the E, CTE, k, and Dk, and compared with the experimental data. Finally, suitable models were recommended in the present materials system. For the significant improvement of performance of epoxy, we can conclude that these composite materials may be promising for PCB substrate. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Dry chitosan is an excellent candidate for facilitated transport membranes that can be utilized in industrial applications, such as fuel cell operations and other purification processes. This article is the first to report temperature effects on transport properties of CO2, H2, and N2 in a gas mixture typical of such applications. At a feed pressure of 1.5 atm, CO2 permeabilities increased (0.381–26.1 barrers) at temperatures of 20–150 °C with decreasing CO2/N2 (19.7–4.55) and CO2/H2 (3.14–1.71) separation factors. The pressure effect on solubilities and permeabilities were fitted to the extended dual mode model and its corresponding mixed gas permeation model. The dual mode and transport parameters, the sorption heats and the activation energies of Henry's and Langmuir's regimes and their pre‐exponential parameters were determined. The Langmuir's capacity constants were utilized to estimate chitosan's glass transition temperature (CO2: 172 °C, N2: 175 °C, and H2: 171 °C). The activation energies of diffusion in the Henry's law and Langmuir regimes were dependent on the collision diameter of the gases. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
