Sulfur-containing compounds are responsible for much air pollution, and therefore eliminating these compounds is of importance. Herein, a hybrid organic–inorganic recyclable nanocatalyst (TBA-PW11Ni@PANI) was synthesized successfully to investigate its effects on the catalytic oxidative desulfurization (CODS) process of real gasoline/model fuel. To this end, the Keggin-based mono-lacunary polyoxometalate [PW11NiO39] was prepared and modified with quaternary cation tetrabutylammonium (TBA). Then, this was further immobilized on polyaniline (PANI) via the sol–gel method. The synthesized nanocomposite was characterized using various techniques. The high dispersion of polyoxometalate on PANI was confirmed. Also, it was found that the crystalline structure remained unaltered after immobilization. In addition, the effects of various parameters such as dosage and temperature on the CODS of model fuel in the presence of H2O2–acetic acid (1:2 v/v) were studied in detail. Moreover, the kinetics of the CODS process was also studied and a mechanism proposed. According to the results, TBA-PW11Ni@PANI showed an efficiency of up to 97% with 0.1 g at 35°C (optimum values) which implies its good catalytic functionality in the CODS process. Finally, the TBA-PW11Ni@PANI catalyst displayed long-term stability and good reusability after five runs. 相似文献

Ceramic coatings obtained by sol-gel routes are more and more attractive for protective purposes. Improved resistance against wet corrosion of steels can be obtained by doping the covering layer with elements like for instance transition ones. It is of major importance to have a clear-cut knowledge of the oxidation state of the doping element, especially after different heat treatments which usually follow the deposition process. Here we report about the oxidation states of 5 wt.% iron doped TiO2, SiO2 and mixed sol powders obtained by the sol-gel method with alkoxide precursors added with FeSO4, 7 H2O in organic medium. The evolution of the Fe oxidation state versus various heat treatments is followed by 57Fe Mössbauer spectrometry supplemented by XRD data. As-dried samples are amorphous and contain ferric Fe cations, with a local distorted oxygen environment. After heating at 500°C during 3 min, ferrous and ferric oxides are evidenced together solely for silica and mixed silica-titania powders, in marked contrast with titania powders where only ferric species exist. The present work reports on the preparation of nickel oxi/hydroxide and gold composite nanoparticulate sols. The precursor was prepared as an alcoholic suspension of nickel oxi/hydroxide. Controlled amounts of 2,4-pentanedione (AcAc) were added to the nickel salt suspension and lead to the formation of a nickel complex. The dependence of the particle size with AcAc titration was followed by Small Angle X-Ray Scattering (SAXS). The results showed that the particle size distribution shifts towards low values with the increase in the AcAc concentration. The complex, obtained by adding an excess of the AcAc ligand, [Ni(AcAc)2]·2H2O, was identified by FTIR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. An AcAc specific volume was chosen in order to obtain a homogeneous sol of nickel oxi/hydroxide to which gold was added. The size distribution of the Au particles in this sol was followed by SAXS. 相似文献

A new inorganic sol-gel method was introduced in this paper to prepare TiO2 thin films. The autoclaved sol with needle-like anatase crystals was synthesized using titanyl sulfate (TiOSO4) and peroxide (H2O2) as starting materials. The transparent anatase TiO2 thin films were prepared on glass slides from the autoclaved sol by sol-gel dip-coating method. A wide range of techniques such as Fourier transform infrared transmission spectra (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), scanning electron microscopes, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and ultraviolet-visible spectrum were applied to characterize the autoclaved sol and TiO2 thin films. The results indicate that the autoclaved sol is flavescent, semitransparent and stable at room temperature. The anatase crystals of TiO2 films connect together to form net-like structure after calcined and the films become uniform with increasing heating temperature. The surface of the TiO2 films contain not only Ti and O elements, but also a small amount of N and Na elements diffused from substrates during heat treatment. The TiO2 films are transparent and their maximal light transmittances exceed 80% under visible light region. 相似文献
