A new family of sheaves has been recently studied by M. Kashiwara and P. Schapira generalizing to constructible sheaves the notion of moderate and formal cohomology. We prove comparison theorems when we regard these sheaves as solutions of a D-module. These results are natural generalizations of those of Y. Laurent and the author.  相似文献

We present a microlocal version of the Riemann–Hilbert correspondence for regular holonomic D-modules. We show that a regular holonomic system of microdifferential equations is associated to a perverse sheaf concentrated in degree 0. Moreover, we show that this perverse sheaf can be recovered from the local system it determines on the complementary of its singular locus. We characterize the classes of perverse sheaves and local systems associated to regular holonomic systems of microdifferential equations.  相似文献

We show that some monodromies in the Morse local systems of a conically stratified perverse sheaf imply that other Morse local systems for smaller strata do not vanish. This result is then used to explain the examples of reducible characteristic varieties of Schubert varieties given by Kashiwara and Saito in type and by Boe and Fu for the Lagrangian Grassmannian.

The electron double-slit interference is re-examined from the point of view of temporal topos. Temporal topos (or t-topos) is an abstract algebraic (categorical) method using the theory of sheaves. A brief introduction to t-topos is given. When the structural foundation for describing particles is based on t-topos, the particle-wave duality of electron is a natural consequence. A presheaf associated with the electron represents both particle-like and wave-like properties depending upon whether an object in the site (t-site) is specified (particle-like) or not (wave-like). It is shown that the localization of the electron at one of the slits is equivalent to choosing a particular object in the t-site and that the electron behaves as a wave when it passes through a double-slit because there are more than one object in the t-site. Also, the single-slit diffraction is interpreted as a result of the possibility of many different ways of factoring a morphism between two objects.  相似文献

Let be a Lie group acting on an oriented manifold M, and let ω be an equivariantly closed form on M. If both and M are compact, then the integral is given by the fixed point integral localization formula (Theorem 7.11 in Berline et al. Heat Kernels and Dirac Operators, Springer, Berlin, 1992). Unfortunately, this formula fails when the acting Lie group is not compact: there simply may not be enough fixed points present. A proposed remedy is to modify the action of in such a way that all fixed points are accounted for.Let be a real semisimple Lie group, possibly noncompact. One of the most important examples of equivariantly closed forms is the symplectic volume form of a coadjoint orbit Ω. Even if Ω is not compact, the integral exists as a distribution on the Lie algebra . This distribution is called the Fourier transform of the coadjoint orbit.In this article, we will apply the localization results described in [L1,L2] to get a geometric derivation of Harish-Chandra's formula (9) for the Fourier transforms of regular semisimple coadjoint orbits. Then, we will make an explicit computation for the coadjoint orbits of elements of which are dual to regular semisimple elements lying in a maximally split Cartan subalgebra of .  相似文献

The semisimplicity conjecture says that for any smooth projective scheme over a finite field , the Frobenius correspondence acts semisimply on , where is an algebraic closure of . Based on the works of Deligne and Laumon, we reduce this conjecture to a problem about the Galois representations of function fields. This reduction was also achieved by Laumon a few years ago (unpublished).

We study the full set of solutions to the ADHM equation as an affine algebraic set, the ADHM variety. We determine a filtration of the ADHM variety into subvarieties according to the dimension of the stabilizing subspace. We compute dimension, and analyze singularity and reducibility of all of these varieties. We also establish a connection between arbitrary solutions of the ADHM equation and coherent perverse sheaves on P2P2 in the sense of Kashiwara.  相似文献
