This paper is concerned with the spectral analysis of a one-velocity transport operator with Maxwell boundary condition in L 1-space. After a detailed spectral analysis it is shown that the associated Cauchy problem is governed by a C 0-semigroup. Next, we discuss the irreducibility of the transport semigroup. In particular, we show that the transport semigroup is irreducible. Finally, a spectral decomposition of the solutions into an asymptotic term and a transient one which will be estimated for smooth initial data is given.  相似文献

This paper develops a mathematical model of the ring-spinning process that takes into account its non-stationary nature. A complex system of differential equations is obtained, which from a mathematical point of view constitutes a ‘free-boundary’ problem. Its solution involves definition of suitable boundary conditions related to the mechanical characteristics of the process and of the spinning machine itself. The boundary conditions which determine the solution are pointed out. A numerical solution of the system of differential equations can be obtained by the Finite-Segments method, as shown in an example.  相似文献

首次制备了用Si3N4,SiO2,TiH4超细粉末填充的改性壳聚精膜,并将其用于乙醇/水混合液的分离中。实验表明壳聚糖膜经超细粉末填充后强度增大,溶胀度减小。用于乙醇/水混合液渗透蒸发分离时,分离因子和渗透通量都有提高,并在填充量为16.7%附近出现极大值。随着料液中乙醇含量的增大,渗透通量减小,分离因子增大;随着料液温度的升高渗透通量显著增大,分离因子则稍有下降。并简单讨论了超细粉末在乙醇/水混合液分离中的作用。  相似文献

It is possible to estimate surface tension of high-energy solids combining the immersion microcalorimetry thermodynamics and Van Oss' model. In this study we have applied this method on talc and talc-chlorite samples in order to obtain thermodynamic values which permit to understand surface properties useful in the industrial applications of these solids. Some talcite samples are preferentially used in specific industrial applications because they are less hydrophobic or more lamellar. This method seems to be reliable to classify the solids and predict some properties.  相似文献

Polypropylenes of differing morphologies were examined by differential thermal analysis. The problems of reordering during the programmed heating are discussed. Four potential procedures by which the reordering could be inhibited are considered, and three of these are experimentally assessed. Their advantages and deficiencies are identified. Two pretreatments, an etching and a crosslinking, are recognised as able to qualitatively characterise the initial morphology, with a preference for the former. Transparent nanocrystalline films of oxide semiconductors such as TiO2 and Fe2O3 have been prepared on a conducting glass support employing a sol-gel procedure. The films are composed of nanometer-sized particles sintered together to allow for percolative charge carrier transport. The internal surface of these films is very high, roughness factors of the order of 1000 being readily obtained. Electric polarization was applied for forward and reverse biasing of the films and the resulting optical changes have been analyzed to derive their flat band potential. Band gap excitation of such nanocrystalline semiconductors produces electron-hole pairs which migrate through the film to be collected as electric current. Steady state photolysis and time resolved laser techniques have been applied to scrutinize the mechanism of light induced charge separation within the nanostructure. When derivatized with a suitable chromophore, TiO2 films give extraordinary efficiencies for the conversion of incident photons into electric current, exceeding 90% for certain transition metal complexes within the wavelength range of their absorption band. The underlying physical principles of these astonishing findings will be discussed. Exploiting this discovery, we have developed a new type of photovoltaic device whose overall light to electric energy conversion yield is 10% under simulated AM 1.5 solar radiation.  相似文献

We give some sufficient conditions for proper lower semicontinuous functions on metric spaces to have error bounds (with exponents). For a proper convex function f on a normed space X the existence of a local error bound implies that of a global error bound. If in addition X is a Banach space, then error bounds can be characterized by the subdifferential of f. In a reflexive Banach space X, we further obtain several sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence of error bounds in terms of the lower Dini derivative of f.
