Recently, Borgs and Kotecký developed a rigorous theory of finite-size effects near first-order phase transitions. Here we apply this theory to the ferromagneticq-state Potts model, which (forq large andd2) undergoes a first-order phase transition as the inverse temperature is varied. We prove a formula for the internal energy in a periodic cube of side lengthL which describes the rounding of the infinite-volume jumpE in terms of a hyperbolic tangent, and show that the position of the maximum of the specific heat is shifted by m (L)=(Inq/E)L –d +O(L –2d ) with respect to the infinite-volume transition point t . We also propose an alternative definition of the finite-volume transition temperature t (L) which might be useful for numerical calculations because it differs only by exponentially small corrections from t .  相似文献

We propose a scheme to realize two-parameter estimation via Bose–Einstein condensates confined in a symmetric triple-well potential. The three-mode NOON state is prepared adiabatically as the initial state. The two parameters to be estimated are the phase differences between the wells. The sensitivity of this estimation scheme is studied by comparing quantum and classical Fisher information matrices. As a result, we find an optimal particle number measurement method. Moreover, the precision of this estimation scheme means that the Heisenberg scaling behaves under the optimal measurement.  相似文献

Aiming at elucidating ultrasonic emulsification mechanisms, the interaction between a single or multiple acoustic cavitation bubbles and gallium droplet interface was investigated using an high-speed imaging technique. To our best knowledge, the moment of emulsification and formation of fine droplets during ultrasound irradiation were observed for the first time. It was found that the detachment of fine gallium droplets occurs from the water-gallium interface during collapse of big cavitation bubbles. The results suggest that the maximum size of cavitation bubble before collapsing is of prime importance for emulsification phenomena. Previous numerical simulation revealed that the collapse of big cavitation bubble is followed by generation of high-velocity liquid jet directed toward the water-gallium interface. Such a jet is assumed to be the prime cause of liquid emulsification. The distance between cavitation bubbles and water-gallium interface was found to slightly affect the emulsification onset. The droplet fragmentation conditions are also discussed in terms of the balance between (1) interfacial and kinetic energies and (2) dynamic and Laplace pressure during droplet formation.  相似文献

Network anomaly detection systems (NADSs) play a significant role in every network defense system as they detect and prevent malicious activities. Therefore, this paper offers an exhaustive overview of different aspects of anomaly-based network intrusion detection systems (NIDSs). Additionally, contemporary malicious activities in network systems and the important properties of intrusion detection systems are discussed as well. The present survey explains important phases of NADSs, such as pre-processing, feature extraction and malicious behavior detection and recognition. In addition, with regard to the detection and recognition phase, recent machine learning approaches including supervised, unsupervised, new deep and ensemble learning techniques have been comprehensively discussed; moreover, some details about currently available benchmark datasets for training and evaluating machine learning techniques are provided by the researchers. This study aimed to investigate consumers’ visual image evaluation of wrist wearables based on Kansei engineering. A total of 8 representative samples were screened from 99 samples using the multidimensional scaling (MDS) method. Five groups of adjectives were identified to allow participants to express their visual impressions of wrist wearable devices through a questionnaire survey and factor analysis. The evaluation of eight samples using the five groups of adjectives was analyzed utilizing the triangle fuzzy theory. The results showed a relatively different evaluation of the eight samples in the groups of “fashionable and individual” and “rational and decent”, but little distinction in the groups of “practical and durable”, “modern and smart” and “convenient and multiple”. Furthermore, wrist wearables with a shape close to a traditional watch dial (round), with a bezel and mechanical buttons (moderate complexity) and asymmetric forms received a higher evaluation. The acceptance of square- and elliptical-shaped wrist wearables was relatively low. Among the square- and rectangular-shaped wrist wearables, the greater the curvature of the chamfer, the higher the acceptance. Apparent contrast between the color of the screen and the casing had good acceptance. The influence of display size on consumer evaluations was relatively small. Similar results were obtained in the evaluation of preferences and willingness to purchase. The results of this study objectively and effectively reflect consumers’ evaluation and potential demand for the visual images of wrist wearables and provide a reference for designers and industry professionals.  相似文献

针对小管径两相流流动特性, 全新优化设计弧形对壁式电导传感器. 通过动态实验在获取传感器测量信号的基础上, 采用有限穿越可视图理论构建对应于不同流型的两相流复杂网络. 通过分析发现, 有限穿越可视图网络异速生长指数和网络平均度值的联合分布可实现对小管径两相流的流型辨识; 有限穿越可视图度分布曲线峰值可有效刻画与泡径大小分布相关的流动物理结构细节特征; 网络平均度值可表征流动结构的宏观特性; 网络异速生长指数对流体动力学复杂性十分敏感, 可揭示不同流型演化过程中的细节演化动力学特性. 两相流测量信号的有限穿越可视图分析为揭示两相流流型的形成及演化动力学机理提供了新途径. 关键词: 两相流 复杂网络 有限穿越可视图 网络异速生长指数  相似文献

The influences of thermal treatment on cold crystallization and the thermal behavior of poly‐L‐lactide (PLLA) were investigated by DSC and polarizing microscopy. Both the cooling and heating rates had effects on cold crystallization. Double peaks were observed for the samples on subsequently heating at 10°C min?1 after cooling between 5 and 20°C min?1. The degrees of crystallinity dramatically increased with decreasing cooling rate, and the size of PLLA spherulites increased with a decrease in the cooling rate. Double cold crystallization peaks were also observed during heating traces at higher rates for this material after fast cooling (20°C min?1) from the melt. The competition between the crystallization from the nuclei formed during cooling, and that from spontaneous nucleation might be responsible for the appearance of double peaks.  相似文献
