THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PROJECTIVE GEOMETRIC AND RATIONAL QUADRATIC B-SPLINE CURVES

For two rational quadratic B-spline curves with same control vertexes, the cross ratio of four eollinear points are represented; which are any one of the vertexes, and the two points that the ray initialing from the vertex intersects with the corresponding segments of the twocurves, and the point the ray intersecting with the connecting line between the two neighboring vertexes. Different from rational quadratic Beeier curves, the value is generally related with the loeation of the ray, and the necessary and sufficient condition o5 the ratio being independent of the ray‘s loeation is showed. Alsn another cross ratio o5 the following four collinear points are suggested, i.e. one vertex, the points that the ray from the initlal vertex intersects respectivdy with the curve segmentt the line connecting the segments end points, and the line connecting the two neighboring vertexes. This cross ratio is concerned only whh the ray‘s location, butnot with the weights of the curve. Furthermore, the cross ratio is projective invariant under the projective transformation between the two segments.     

THERMAL AND THERMO-ELASTIC-PLASTIC RESPONSE OF CERAMIC-METAL FUNCTIONALLY GRADED MATERIALS—THERMAL SHOCK PROBLEM

The thermal and thermo-elastic-plastic response of newly developed ceramic-metalfunctionally graded materials under a thermal shock load is studied.The materials are heated at the ce-ramic surface with a sudden high-intensity heat flux input,and cooled at the metal surface with aflowing liquid nitrogen.Emphasis is placed on two aspects:(1)the influence of the graded composi-tion of the materials on the temperature and stress response;and(2)the optimum design of the gradedcomposition from a unified viewpoint of the heat insulation property and stress relaxation property.Moreover,a comparison between the thermoelastic stress and the thermo-elastic-plastic stress is alsomade to indicate the plasticity effect.     

Effect of core-shell micelle formation on the redox properties of phenothiazine-labeled poly(ethyl glycidy ether)-block-poly(ethylene oxide)

Redox properties of phenothiazine-labeled poly(ethyl glycidy ether)-block-poly(ethylene oxide) (PT-EGE_n-b-EO_m) are reversibly changed by core-shell micelle formation. In the temperature range higher than the critical micellization temperature (cmt), the anodic potential of PT group positively shifts and concomitantly its anodic current decrease, or levels off compared to those of the reference polymer PT-EO_m without the thermo-responsive EGE_n segment. The former alteration is caused by incorporation of hydrophobic PT groups into a core of the micelle and the latter by the decrease in the diffusion coefficient of PT groups due to formation of the core-shell micelles. The cmt value and the temperature-dependent alteration in the redox properties strongly depend on the polymer structure, especially the length of thermo-responsive EGE_n segment. The electrochemically determined hydrodynamic radii of the polymer aggregates seem to be overestimated, compared to the values reported for the aggregates of other thermo-responsive polymers with similar molecular weights, implying the presence of electrochemically inactive PT groups in the copolymers having longer thermo-responsive segments.     

椭圆强非局域空间光孤子

对傍轴椭圆高斯光束在具有椭圆对称响应特性的强非局域非线性介质中的演化规律进行研究，得到了光束各参量演化的精确解析解，分析了单向空间光孤子和强非局域椭圆空间光孤子的形成条件，发现了椭圆光孤子的相移与介质响应函数的椭圆率有关. 关键词： 椭圆对称强非局域响应介质 椭圆强非局域空间光孤子 相移     

Violin frequency response - bridge mobility and bridge feet distance

Good violins have a broad hill in the 2-3 kHz range of their frequency response. This hill has previously been attributed to the first in-plane resonance of the violin bridge. Experiments prove, however, that the hill is the result of two forces acting in opposite directions at the bridge feet. The experiments reported here show that the hill can be “tuned” by altering the distance between the bridge feet. It can be tuned both in terms of frequency and level but the properties of the violin cannot be neglected.     

Surface profile measurement of low-frequency vibrating objects using temporal analysis of fringe pattern

A simple and accurate algorithm (phase scanning method) is proposed for 3D surface contouring and dynamic response determination of a vibrating object. A sinusoidal fringe pattern is projected onto a low-frequency vibrating object by a programmable liquid crystal display projector. The fringe patterns are captured by a high-speed CCD camera with a telecentric gauging lens. Phase values are evaluated point by point using phase scanning method. From the phase values of each point on the object, the contour of the specimen at different instants of vibration can be retrieved. In this paper, a small vibrating coin is used to demonstrate the validity of the method and the experimental results are compared with test results on a stationary coin using four-step phase shifting and fast Fourier transform methods. The technique is especially useful in applications where the vibrating object has a complicated shape.     

Analysis of heterojunction resonant cavity-enhanced Schottky photodiodes by using two-valley transport model

The article concerns heterojunction resonant cavity-enhanced (RCE) Schottky photodiodes with GaAs in the absorption layer. The quantum efficiency and linear pulse response have thoroughly been analysed. For the first time, the response of a heterojunction photodiode has been modelled by the phenomenological model for a two-valley semiconductor. The results obtained have shown that the satellite valleys, as well as the parasitic time constant, significantly influence the response and, accordingly, have to be taken into account when analysing and optimizing RCE photodetectors.     

基于分形维数的液体爆炸分散中界面破碎形态研究

通过对爆炸抛撒图象的处理,得到液体界面的曲线.采用盒维数的计算方式,计算界面曲线的分形维数.通过对各时刻液体界面分形维数的变化研究,分析爆炸抛撒近场阶段的变化过程,同时观察到蘑菇状尖顶的出现与破碎,以及空化区域的形成和消失现象。     

Integrable semiclassical deformations of general algebraic curves and associated conservation laws

Based on the Lenard relations, we completely classify integrable deformations of general algebraic curves. We construct the general solution of the Lenard relation from the invariance condition with respect to an element of the Galois group of the curve.
