A theoretically based analytic model of plant growth in single species conifer communities based on the species fully occupying a site and fully using the site resources is introduced. Model derivations result in a single equation simultaneously describes changes over both, different site conditions (or resources available), and over time for each variable for each species. Leaf area or biomass, or a related plant community measurement, such as site class, can be used as an indicator of available site resources. Relationships over time (years) are determined by the interaction between a stable foliage biomass in balance with site resources, and by the increase in the total heterotrophic biomass of the stand with increasing tree size. This structurally based, analytic model describes the relationships between plant growth and each species’ functional depth for foliage, its mature crown size, and stand dynamics, including the self‐thinning. Stand table data for seven conifer species are used for verification of the model. Results closely duplicate those data for each variable and species. Assumptions used provide a basis for interpreting variations within and between the species. Better understanding of the relationships between the MacArthur consumer resource model, the Chapman–Richards growth functions, the metabolic theory of ecology, and stand development resulted.  相似文献

We study stochastic differential games of jump diffusions driven by Brownian motions and compensated Poisson random measures, where one of the players can choose the stochastic control and the other player can decide when to stop the system. We prove a verification theorem for such games in terms of a Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman variational inequality. The results are applied to study some specific examples, including optimal resource extraction in a worst-case scenario, and risk minimizing optimal portfolio and stopping.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a recommendation algorithm based on the resource-allocation progresses on bipartite networks. In this model, each node is assigned an attraction that is proportional to the power of its degree, where the exponent β is an adjustable parameter that controls the configuration of attractions. In the resource-allocation process, each transmitter distributes its each neighbor a fragment of resource that is proportional to the attraction of the neighbor. Based on a benchmark database, we find that decreasing the attractions that the nodes with higher degrees are assigned can further improve the algorithmic accuracy. More significantly, numerical results show that the optimal configuration of attractions subject to accuracy can also generate more diverse and less popular recommendations.  相似文献

Abstract In this paper, we propose a model describing the commercial exploitation of a common renewable resource by a population of strategically interacting agents. Players can cooperate or compete; cooperators maximize the payoff of their group while defectors maximize their own profit. The partition of the players into two groups, defectors and cooperators, results from the players' choices, so it is not predetermined. This partition is decided as a Nash equilibrium of a static game. It is shown that different types of players can exist in an equilibrium; more precisely, depending on the parameter values such as resource stock, cost, and so on, there might be equilibria only with defectors, cooperators, or with a combination of cooperators and defectors. In any case the total harvest depends on the renewable resource stock, so it influences agents' positions. It is assumed that at each time period the agents harvest according to Nash equilibrium, which can be combined with a dynamic model describing the evolution of fish population. A complete analysis of the equilibria is presented and their stability is analysed. The effect of the different Nash equilibria on the stability of the fish stock, showing that full cooperation is the most stable case, is examined.  相似文献

本文讨论了不确定条件下环境友好型的资源分配问题:其中总公司作为上层领导者在各下属工厂间合理分配资源,以期获得最大收益的同时降低对环境的污染程度;而作为下层从属者的各工厂决定各自产量以期获得最大利润。该问题中的产品价格、生产成本、资源成本等被考虑为随机变量,环境污染指数被考虑为模糊变量,因而本文构造了不确定条件下的机会约束二层资源分配模型。运用等价定理对模型进行转换,并采用交互式满意度法将二层模型转化为单层模型以便求解。最后通过数值算例证实了模型和算法的可行性与有效性。此外,由于模型含有影响模型解的参数,故基于满意度和置信水平分别进行了灵敏度分析,进一步验证了所提出模型的科学性。  相似文献

In this paper, we study an extension of the Linear Multiple Choice Knapsack (LMCK) Problem that considers two objectives. The problem can be used to find the optimal allocation of an available resource to a group of disjoint sets of activities, while also ensuring that a certain balance on the resource amounts allocated to the activity sets is attained. The first objective maximizes the profit incurred by the implementation of the considered activities. The second objective minimizes the maximum difference between the resource amounts allocated to any two sets of activities. We present the mathematical formulation and explore the fundamental properties of the problem. Based on these properties, we develop an efficient algorithm that obtains the entire nondominated frontier. The algorithm is more efficient than the application of the general theory of multiple objective linear programming (MOLP), although there is a close underlying relationship between the two. We present theoretical findings which provide insight into the behavior of the algorithm, and report computational results which demonstrate its efficiency for randomly generated problems. This paper investigates resource optimization schemes in a marine communication scenario based on non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). According to the offshore environment of the South China Sea, we first establish a Longley–Rice-based channel model. Then, the weighted achievable rate (WAR) is considered as the optimization objective to weigh the information rate and user fairness effectively. Our work introduces an improved joint power and user allocation scheme (RBPUA) based on a single resource block. Taking RBPUA as a basic module, we propose three joint multi-subchannel power and marine user allocation algorithms. The gradient descent algorithm (GRAD) is used as the reference standard for WAR optimization. The multi-choice knapsack algorithm combined with dynamic programming (MCKP-DP) obtains a WAR optimization result almost equal to that of GRAD. These two NOMA-based solutions are able to improve WAR performance by 7.47% compared with OMA. Due to the high computational complexity of the MCKP-DP, we further propose a DP-based fully polynomial-time approximation algorithm (DP-FPTA). The simulation results show that DP-FPTA can reduce the complexity by 84.3% while achieving an approximate optimized performance of 99.55%. This advantage of realizing the trade-off between performance optimization and complexity meets the requirements of practical low-latency systems.  相似文献

A binary mixture of styrene and maleic anhydride has been graft copolymerized onto cellulose extracted from Pinus roxburghii needles. The reaction was initiated with gamma rays in air by the simultaneous irradiation method. Graft copolymerization was studied under optimum conditions of total dose of radiation, amount of water, and molar concentration previously worked out for grafting styrene onto cellulose. Percentage of total conversion (Pg), grafting efficiency (%), percentage of grafting (Pg), and rates of polymerization (Rp), grafting (Rg), and homopolymerization (Rh) have been determined as a function of maleic anhydride concentration. The high degree of kinetic regularity and the linear dependence of the rate of polymerization on maleic anhydride concentration, along with the low and nearly constant rate of homopolymerization suggest that the monomers first form a complexomer which then polymerizes to form grafted chains with an alternating sequence. Grafting parameters and reaction rates achieve maximum values when the molar ratio of styrene to maleic anhydride is 1 : 1. Further evidence for the alternating monomer sequence is obtained from quantitatively evaluating the composition of the grafted chains from the FT‐IR spectra, in which the ratio of anhydride absorbance to aromatic (CC) absorbance for the stretching bands assigned to the grafted monomers remained constant and independent of the feed ratio of maleic anhydride to styrene. Thermal behaviour of the graft copolymers revealed that all graft copolymers exhibit single stage decomposition with characteristic transitions at 161–165°C and 290–300°C. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 本工作对国内近年新研制的CeF3用于γ测量时的抗中子干扰能力进行研究,在脉冲DT中子源场中对分别由CeF3和ST401构成的闪烁探测器输出进行比较测量.在相同测点中子注量率情况下的测量结果表明:ST401探测器的输出电荷比同体积的CeF3高10多倍;ST401探测器的电流输出峰值幅度比同体积的CeF3高30多倍.由此可得到CeF3对中子相对不灵敏,在n、γ混合辐射场中测量快γ辐射时,该无机晶体将是一种较合适的候选闪烁体.  相似文献
