A 4-channel wavelength division demultiplexer based on photonic crystal structures suitable for WDM communication applications is proposed. In order to improve the wavelength selectivity we introduce four scattering rods above and under the X-shaped ring resonators in the proposed structure. It is shown that the PBG of the structure is tuned for communication systems in both TE and TM modes but the results demonstrated that just the first PBG in TM mode is suitable for WDM applications, so all the simulations will be done in TM mode. The minimum and maximum crosstalk between channels is −23.7 dB and −7.5 dB, respectively. Also, the average channel spacing in this structure is 3 nm. 相似文献

Ray matrix approach with appropriate coordinate systems has been proposed in this paper. It is employed to analyze the optical-axis perturbation in nonplanar ring resonators. The sensitivities of optical-axis decentration (SD) and optical-axis tilt (ST) in nonplanar resonators with 90° and 270° image rotation are discussed in detail in the region of 0 < K < 8, where K is the ratio of the total cavity length to the radius of the curvature mirrors. There are both four singular points in the whole region of 0 < K < 8. On the left of the first singularity, it is found that the longer the mirror radius, the less the optical-axis decentration sensitivity. This is opposite the behavior of planar ring resonators, but the behaviors of optical-axis tilt sensitivity in planar and nonplanar ring resonators are similar. It is worth to note that SD and ST in the nonplanar resonator with certain parameters have the similar singularities. The analysis in this paper is important for the cavity design and alignment of nonplanar ring resonators. 相似文献

This study investigates the changes in the structure of a turbulent boundary layer downstream of a flow-excited Helmholtz resonator. To this end, a fully developed turbulent boundary layer over a resonator mounted flush with a flat plate was simulated by implementing a large eddy simulation (LES). To assist in understanding the effect of the resonator on the flow structure, a sensitivity study was undertaken by changing the main geometrical parameters of the resonator. The results demonstrated that when the boundary layer thickness equals the orifice length, the cross-stream component of velocity fluctuations penetrates the boundary layer, resulting in a reduction of the turbulence intensity by up to 12%. Therefore, it is concluded that a Helmholtz resonator has the potential to reduce the instabilities within the boundary layer. These investigations also assist in identifying the optimal parameters to delay turbulence events within the grazing flow using Helmholtz resonators. 相似文献

We study the effects of couplings to flexure and face-shear modes on the admittance of an AT-cut quartz plate thickness-shear mode resonator. Mindlin’s two-dimensional equations for piezoelectric plates are employed. Electrically forced vibration solutions are obtained for three cases: pure thickness-shear mode alone; two coupled modes of thickness shear and flexure; and three coupled modes of thickness shear, flexure, and face shear. Admittance is calculated and its dependence on the driving frequency and the length/thickness ratio of the resonator is examined. Results show that near the thickness-shear resonance, admittance assumes maxima, and that for certain values of the length/thickness ratio, the coupling to flexure causes severe admittance drops, while the coupling to the face-shear mode causes additional admittance changes that were previously unknown and hence are not considered in current resonator design practice. 相似文献

The coupled‐resonator‐induced transparency (CRIT) effect in parallel‐coupled double microring resonators (MRRs) has been widely studied, and various applications based on the CRIT have been demonstrated. As an application of the CRIT, we propose and demonstrate a directed logic circuit that can implement the XOR and XNOR operations. Two electrical signals applied to the two MRRs represent the two operands of the logical operations, and the operational results are represented by the output optical signal. As a proof‐of‐concept, the thermo‐optic modulating scheme is employed with an operational speed of 10 kbps. 相似文献

提出了一种新型的基于双枝节加载的T型四模谐振器,并且利用该谐振器设计了一款双模双通带带通滤波器。首先利用奇偶模分析法以及场分布分析法对四模谐振器的频率特性进行分析,谐振器的每一个谐振模式均可以被独立调节。然后对馈线枝节的参数进行了详细的分析,得到馈线对滤波器外部耦合系数的影响,以调整滤波器通带的带通宽度。接着分析滤波器传输零点产生的原因,得到零点变化的规律,从而调整零点位置,提高滤波器的选择性。缺陷地结构(DGS)被蚀刻在滤波器的金属层底面,以引入非谐振节点,提供源与负载的耦合,可以产生额外的传输零点,进一步提高滤波器的选择性,而且不会增大滤波器的体积。对该滤波器进行加工和测试,仿真结果与测试结果基本吻合。 相似文献

半球谐振陀螺是基于固体波的进动效应进行角速度检测的一种全固态陀螺。为分析半球谐振子中固体波的进动效应,基于虚功原理,建立了理想条件下半球谐振陀螺谐振子中固体波进动的动力学模型。针对进动波的动力学模型过于复杂、难于分析的缺陷,提出采用相似系统的分析方法,将该动力学模型等效为二维空间质点的简谐振动模型;采用快变量与慢变量分离的方法,对等效模型进行了参数分析,通过与实际的半球谐振陀螺信号处理系统采集的李沙育图形进行对比,验证了等效简谐振动模型的有效性和正确性。 相似文献

We report a resonant method to measure the wall capacitance(C_w) and solution resistance(R_S) in a capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detector(C~4D).Under the typical operating conditions in capillary electrophoresis(I.D.50μm,O.D. 360μm,electrode length of 4 mm,electrode gap of 1 mm,frequency of 200 kHz),the values of C_w measured in 1 and 20 mmol/L NaCl solutions are 2.8 and 32 fF,which are only 1.1%and 12%of prediction by the equation in references,respectively.The value of R_S is less than the prediction in solutions withκ<0.02 S/m.The response current of C~4D is due to the change in C_w because the total impedance of a C~4D is composed mainly by the impedance from C_w. 相似文献

通过探讨双负介质与负介电常数介质交叠结构的谐振特性,实现了一种能够同时缩小长度和宽度的改进的小型化谐振腔(IMCR). 对IMCR谐振特性进行了数值仿真,结果表明,IMCR能够在10.3GHz上稳定谐振,但其长度和宽度却分别只有4.58和5.08mm,相比于普通金属谐振腔的长度和宽度均缩短了一半. 这些结果对基于双负介质的小型化谐振腔的发展具有理论意义.
