A series of aromatic polyimides (PIs) containing pyridazine or pyrimidine in their main chains has been developed. All of the PIs were prepared from newly synthesized diamines, 3,6‐bis(4‐aminophenylenesulfanyl)pyridazine (APP), 4,6‐bis(4‐aminophenylenesulfanyl)pyrimidine (APPM) and aromatic dianhydrides, 4,4′‐[p‐thiobis(phenylenesulfanyl)]diphthalic anhydride (3SDEA) and 4,4′‐oxydiphthalic anhydride (ODPA) via the conventional two‐step polycondensation. The PIs showed good thermal stability with 10% weight loss at temperatures above 450 °C and glass transition temperatures above 190 °C. Films with a 10‐μm thickness exhibited good optical transparency above 80% at 500 nm, high refractive indices ranging from 1.7218 to 1.7499, and low birefringence between 0.0066 and 0.0102. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 在4H-SiC基底上设计并制备了Al2O3SiO2紫外双层减反射膜,通过扫描电镜(SEM)和实测反射率谱来验证理论设计的正确性.利用编程计算得到Al2O2和SiO2的最优物理膜厚分别为42.0 nm和96.1 nm以及参考波长λ=280 nm处最小反射率为0.09%.由误差分析可知,实际镀膜时保持双层膜厚度之和与理论值一致有利于降低膜系反射率.实验中应当准确控制SiO2折射率并使Al2O3折射率接近1.715.用电子束蒸发法在4H-SiC基底上淀积Al2O3SiO2双层膜,厚度分别为42 nm和96 nm.SEM截面图表明淀积的薄膜和基底间具有较强的附着力.实测反射率极小值为0.33%,对应λ=276 nm,与理论结果吻合较好.与传统SiO2单层膜相比,Al2O3SiO2双层膜具有反射率小,波长选择性好等优点,从而论证了其在4H-SiC基紫外光电器件减反射膜上具有较好的应用前景.  相似文献

Poly(p‐phenylenevinylene) (PPV) and its derivatives exhibit strong luminescence, being serious candidates to be used as active layers in organic light‐emitting diodes. However, the structural degradation caused by photo‐oxidation is an obstacle for commercial applications of such materials. Here, we show that spectroscopy ellipsometry is a useful technique to investigate the photo‐oxidation of poly[(2‐methoxy‐5‐hexyloxy)‐p‐phenylenevinylene] (MH‐PPV), a PPV derivative, which emits a red color light. Spectroscopy ellipsometry enables determination of the complex dielectric function—?*(E)—of MH‐PPV thin‐layer films exposed to air, in the 2.1–4.2 eV energy range, as a function of the light exposure time (te). By using the Lorentz model to fit the experimental ?*(E) curves, it was inferred that the interactions among polymeric chains increase with te. From ?*(E), it is also possible to obtain the complex refractive index, N*(E) = n + ik. At higher energies (where k ? n), n increases from 1.32 to 1.40 with the photo‐oxidation progress. The behavior of n was investigated by using the Lorenz–Lorentz equation, taking into account the contribution for n by the chromophores of MH‐PPV. The effect of photo‐oxidation, mainly due to the replacement of vinyl C?C by the ketone C?O bonds, is confirmed by Fourier transform infrared measurements, an effect that reduces the average effective polymer conjugation length. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We prepared new semiaromatic polyimides from alicyclic dianhydrides and aromatic diamines containing adamantyl and biadamantyl units. Polycondensations were performed in 1‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidinone at room temperature for 7 h and then 80 °C for 23 h, giving poly(amic acid)s with inherent viscosities up to 0.58 dL/g. Poly(amic acid)s were converted to corresponding poly(imide)s by thermal treatment. Poly(imide)s showed relatively high thermal stability (5% weight loss around 450 °C) and low dielectric constants (2.69–2.79). © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of poly(amide‐imide)s were prepared using a new monomer, 1,3‐bis(trimellitimido)‐2,4,6‐trimethyl benzene (BTB), with four different diamines: 1,4‐phenylene diamine (PDA), 2,4‐diamino mesitylene (DAM), 2,2′‐dimethyl‐4,4′‐diamino biphenyl (DMDB), and 2,2′‐bis(trifluoromethyl)‐4,4′‐diamino biphenyl (TFDB). They were prepared by the condensation method in N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidinone (NMP) solvent using triphenyl phosphate and pyridine as condensing agents. The synthesized poly(amide‐imide)s were characterized by Fourier transform infrared and 1H NMR techniques. Films were prepared and characterized using DSC, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), a prism coupler, and a film dielectric property analyzer. DSC measurement showed that the glass‐transition temperatures of the polymers were in the range of 259–327 °C. TGA analysis showed 5% weight loss, in the range of 472–514 °C. The refractive index varied from 1.6004 to 1.6586 in the following increasing order: BTB‐TFBM < BTB‐DAM < BTB‐DMDB < BTB‐PDA. For the poly(amide‐imide) films, the birefringence varied in the range of 0.0319–0.0580, in the following increasing order: BTB‐DAM < BTB‐TFBM < BTB‐DMDB < BTB‐PDA. The capacitance method showed that the dielectric constant of poly(amide‐imide) varied with the diamine structure; no difference was found by the optical method. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The influence of neutron irradiation on some parameters of vitreous silicon dioxide was investigated by optical, dielectric, and x-ray spectroscopy. The laws governing the change in the spectral characteristics, structure parameters, polarizability, and refractive index of vitreous silicon dioxide in a wide range of fluences of fast neutrons are determined. It is assumed that the revealed species of the corresponding dose dependences of some characteristics are caused by the radiation-stimulated change in the structure of the substance. 本文报道掺5mol%MgO的铌酸锂(liNbO_3)晶体的主折射率n_o、n_o及其温度系数.用自准直法在0.5398μm、0.6328μm、1.0795μm和1.3414μm波长上,并在20℃~160℃温度范周内,测量了该晶体的主折射率,并获得在这些波长上的折射率温度系数.修正的Sellmeier方程的常数也在20℃~160℃温度内推算出.用此结果计算室温的二次谐波I类临界相位匹配角与实验值符合得很好,又计算二次谐波的非临界相位匹配温度,其结果也与实验值较符合.  相似文献

采用离子交换法制备了Rb:KTP晶体光波导,在不同波长的耦合光下测量了TE和TM偏振波导模式的有效折射率,拟合了波导层折射率的余误差函数分布,证明了波导折射率增量的各向异性,给出了其色散关系;最后计算并讨论了Rb:KTP波导的扩散特性。  相似文献
