The Complete Biorthogonal Expansion Theorem and Its Application to a Class of Rectangular Plate Equations

In this paper, we first establish the separable $Hamiltonian$ system of rectangular cantilever thin plate bending problems by choosing proper dual vectors. Then using the characteristics of off-diagonal infinite-dimensional $Hamiltonian$ operator matrix, we derive the biorthogonal relationships of the eigenfunction systems and based on it we further obtain the complete biorthogonal expansion theorem. Finally, applying this theorem we obtain the general solutions of rectangular cantilever thin plate bending problems with two opposite edges slidingly supported.     

A probabilistic approach to a non‐local quadratic form and its connection to the Neumann boundary condition problem

In this paper we look at a probabilistic approach to a non‐local quadratic form that has lately attracted some interest. This form is related to a recently introduced non‐local normal derivative. The goal is to construct two Markov processes: one corresponding to that form and the other which is related to a probabilistic interpretation of the Neumann problem. We also study the Dirichlet‐to‐Neumann operator for non‐local operators.     

Composition Cesàro Operator on the Normal Weight Zygmund Space in High Dimensions

Let n>1 and B be the unit ball in n dimensions complex space Cⁿ.Suppose thatφis a holomorphic self-map of B andψ∈H(B)withψ(0)=0.A kind of integral operator,composition Cesàro operator,is defined by T_φψ(f)(z)=∫¹0f[φ(tz)]Rψ(tz)dt/t,f∈(B)z∈B.In this paper,the authors characterize the conditions that the composition Cesàro operator T_φ,ψis bounded or compact on the normal weight Zygmund space Z_μ(B).At the same time,the sufficient and necessary conditions for all cases are given.     

On a mixed Kernel Hilbert‐type integral inequality and its operator expressions with norm

By using some real analysis techniques, we study the structural characteristics of a multi‐parameter Hilbert‐type integral inequality with the hybrid kernel and obtain some equivalent conditions for this inequality. We also consider the operator expression of the equivalent inequalities. The conclusions not only integrate some results of references but also find some new Hilbert‐type integral inequalities with simple form by choosing suitable parameter values.     

Punctual definability on structures

We study punctual categoricity on a cone and intrinsically punctual functions and obtain complete structural characterizations in terms of model-theoretic notions. As a corollary, we answer a question of Bazhenov, Downey, Kalimullin, and Melnikov by showing that relational structures are not punctually universal. We will also apply this characterisation to derive an algebraic characterisation of relatively punctually categorical mono-unary structures.     

Numerical approach to chaotic pattern formation in diffusive predator–prey system with Caputo fractional operator

This paper is primarily concern with the formulation and analysis of a reliable numerical method based on the novel alternating direction implicit finite difference scheme for the solution of the fractional reaction–diffusion system. In the work, the integer first‐order derivative in time is replaced with the Caputo fractional derivative operator. As a case study, the dynamics of predator–prey model is considered. In order to provide a good guidelines on the correct choice of parameters for the numerical simulation of full fractional reaction–diffusion system, its linear stability analysis is also examined. The resulting scheme is applied to solve both self‐diffusion and cross‐diffusion problems in two‐dimensions. We observed in the experimental results a range of spatiotemporal and chaotic structures that are related to Turing pattern. It was also discovered in the simulations that cross‐diffusive case gives rise to spatial patterns faster than the diffusive case. Apart from chaotic spiral‐like structures obtained in this work, it should also be mentioned that Turing patterns such as stationary spots and stripes are obtainable, depending on the initial and parameters choices.     

Almost contact Riemannian three-manifolds with Reeb flow symmetry

In this paper we give a complete classification of simply connected homogeneous almost α-Kenmotsu three-manifolds M whose Ricci operator is invariant along the Reeb flow. We get this classification by using the Gaussian and the extrinsic curvature associated with the canonical foliation of M.     

Nijenhuis geometry II: Left-symmetric algebras and linearization problem for Nijenhuis operators

A field of endomorphisms R is called a Nijenhuis operator if its Nijenhuis torsion vanishes. In this work we study a specific kind of singular points of R called points of scalar type. We show that the tangent space at such points possesses a natural structure of a left-symmetric algebra (also known as pre-Lie or Vinberg-Kozul algebras). Following Weinstein's approach to linearization of Poisson structures, we state the linearisation problem for Nijenhuis operators and give an answer in terms of non-degenerate left-symmetric algebras. In particular, in dimension 2, we give classification of non-degenerate left-symmetric algebras for the smooth category and, with some small gaps, for the analytic one. These two cases, analytic and smooth, differ. We also obtain a complete classification of two-dimensional real left-symmetric algebras, which may be an interesting result on its own.

Compactness of the Commutators of Fractional Hardy Operator with Rough Kernel

The more explicit decomposition of the operator and the kernel are utilized to investigate a characterization of the central $BMO(\mathbb{R}^{n})$-closure of $C_{c}^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ space via the compactness of the commutators of fractional Hardy operator with rough kernel.
