In order to disclose the polarization mechanism of the tilted-foil technique, systematic experimental studies were performed through direct observations of the nuclear polarization of short-lived beta-emitters. The present studies concentrated on the mechanisms of the following processes: (1) production of atomic polarization in the beam–tilted-foil interaction, (2) polarization transfer between an atom and a nucleus, and (3) enhancement of nuclear polarization by the beam multi-tilted-foil interaction. The present results have confirmed the plausibility of a previous model in which the atomic-polarization process in the tilted-foil technique is attributed to the right–left asymmetry of the electron-capture process at the final surface of a tilted foil. The enhancement effect of nuclear polarization by the multi-tilted-foil technique could be consistently explained by a model proposed by Goldring and Niv. Further information on atomic processes is required to make a definite statement on hyperfine interactions and atomic configurations, which contribute to polarization transfer. 相似文献

A rapid method for calculating the time dependence of activities of individual radionuclides in genetically coupled decay
series has been proposed. The method is based on the mathematical procedure, in which the matrix method is used for calculating
a set of decay equations given in the vector form. The developed method is computerized and uses the modern Scilab software.
This simple method eliminates certain drawbacks of older methods used previously for this purpose and is applicable to even
solve calculations which are not easily treatable with the older methods. Some practical examples of such calculations are
presented. Moreover, the new method is universal and it also enables a more general approach to the problem of the calculation
of decay series in nuclear chemistry.

The distribution of radioactive pollutants, such as ~(222)Rn, U, Th and ~(226)Ra in the air, sur-face waters, soils and crops around the Lincang uranium mine, Yunnan Province, China, is studiedThe mechanical, geochemical and biogeochemical processes responsible for the transport andfate of the radioactive elements are discussed based on the monitoring data. The pollutants con-centrations of effluents from the mine tunnels were dependent on pH and SO_4~(2-) which were con-trolled by biochemical oxidation of sulfide in the ore/host rocks. Radon anomalies in air reached 4km from the tailings pile depending on radon release from the site, topography and climate. ~(238)Uand ~(226)Ra abnormities in stream sediments and soil were 40-90 cm deep and 790-800 m awaydownstream. Anomalies of radioactive contaminants of surface watercourses extended 7.5-13km from the discharge of effluents of the site mainly depending on mechanical and chemical proc-esses. There were about 2.86 ha rice fields and 1.59 km stream sediments contaminated. 由于铀矿采冶、核能利用等类活动的影响, 铀引起的水体污染问题日益严重. 纳米零价铁(nanoscale zero-valent iron, nZVI)及其复合材料可高效富集水溶液中低浓度的铀, 在放射性废水的处理与铀的资源回收方面具有巨大的应用潜力. 但是, 不同研究对nZVI分离铀的机理和性能尚未形成一致的解释. 因此, 本综述归纳了nZVI分离铀的研究进展, 概括了溶液及固相反应机理(如吸附作用、还原作用、沉淀作用), 重点分析了水质因素(如pH、U(VI)浓度、阳离子、阴离子、溶解氧)的影响机制. 后续研究可注重分析铀废水中nZVI的结构转化规律及水质因素的协同作用对nZVI固定铀的机理、性能的影响; 并基于放射性废水的水质或水处理工艺的特征, 优化nZVI材料结构且评估其处理放射性废水的长期稳定性和生态毒性; 确定nZVI固定铀的性能与水质组分及水处理工艺运行参数的数学相关性, 建立监测和调控工艺的方法. 相似文献

铀与稀土元素同属大离子亲石元素,尤其与钇组稀土关系更密切,因此南岭高铀花岗岩往往同时是铀和离子型重稀土矿床的成矿母岩。国内外研究资料表明,高铀花岗岩中的铀主要以原生铀的形式存在于晶质铀矿中,在强烈风化过程中大部分发生活化转移,而采矿活动对此有显著促进作用;国外众多含铀湿地的发现及其研究资料表明,山区湿地是铀的"高效过滤器"和"沉淀池",花岗岩风化转移到水体中的微量铀经长期累积,可在湿地富有机质土壤和沉积物中富集至(3000~4000)×10^-6,而采矿和农垦活动可将湿地经几千年累积富集起来的铀释放到居民的生活环境中,因而被视为是一种环境风险。因此建议加强母岩高铀离子型稀土矿区的湿地放射性调查和环境保护,以保障湿地对重金属的天然过滤功能,避免湿地束缚铀的释放,这对保护矿区水质和生态环境都具有重要意义。 相似文献

90Sr 是核电站放射性废液中需要重点去除的核素之一,水合锑氧化物Sb2O5·mH2O可以在酸性条件下选择性吸附脱除90Sr. 本文在以醇为溶剂的无水体系中,以化学性能较稳定且毒性低的SbCl3为原料,以紫外线照射辅助双氧水氧化及控制水解两步法制备出自掺杂型锑氧化物Sb(Ⅲ)/Sb2O5. 文中采用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)、X射线衍射(XRD)和傅里叶变换红外(FTIR)光谱对材料结构进行结构表征,并采用批量实验方法研究不同Sb(Ⅲ)/Sb(total)比例与Sr(Ⅱ)吸附性能的相关性,以及溶液pH 值对Sr(Ⅱ)吸附性能的影响. 实验结果表明:Sb(Ⅲ)可在较大的比例范围内共存于立方烧绿石型Sb2O5晶格内,形成良好的固溶体Sb(Ⅲ)/Sb2O5;制备过程中通过控制醇溶剂的类型、氧化剂的添加方式以及两步反应温度,可以获得具有不同氧化率,即不同Sb(Ⅲ)/Sb(total)比例的Sb(Ⅲ)/Sb2O5材料;其中Sb(Ⅲ)/Sb(total)比例为49.8%的锑氧化物材料吸附性能最好,在纯水体系下对Sr(Ⅱ)的分配系数为6.6×107 mL·g-1,在pH=3-13 范围内对Sr(Ⅱ)具有良好的吸附性能,并且在本文实验条件下,Sr(Ⅱ)在锑氧化物材料上的吸附更好地符合Langmuir吸附模型. 相似文献

We observed the effects of different ligands on the Kβ/Kα intensity ratios and ⊿E energy differences for Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn complexes. We tried to investigate chemical effects on central atoms using the behaviors of different ligands in these complexes.
