A numerical model for an electrohydrodynamic (EHD) grooved Flat Miniature Heat Pipe (FMHP) is developed. Two microchannel shapes are considered as axial capillary structures: square and triangle grooves. For both groove shapes, the electric field affects the liquid-vapor radius of curvature which decreases in the condenser and increases in the evaporator under the action of the electric field. The liquid and vapor velocities are also affected by the EHD effects. The electric field effects on the velocities depend on the FMHP zone. It is also demonstrated that the electric field increases the vapor pressure drop; however, it decreases the liquid pressure drop. The liquid-wall and vapor-wall viscous forces as well as the shear liquid-vapor forces are affected by the electric field. The analysis of the electric forces shows that the dielectrophoretic forces which act on the liquid-vapor interface are predominant and their order of magnitude is much higher than the Coulomb forces. Finally, it is also demonstrated that the capillary limit increases with the electric field for both groove shapes. 相似文献

Microfluidic CE (MCE) is an effective solution for rapid and sensitive determination of multiple analytes. Herein, a dynamic coated cyclic olefin copolymer microchip was developed having an on-chip micropump for fluid velocity adjusting in electrophoretic separations. This micropump was fabricated by constructing a polyacrylamide gel membrane at one channel terminal. Once applying electric field across the membrane, a pressure-driven flow generated automatically to balance the electroosmotic flow (EOF) mismatch at the channel-membrane interface. The influence of gel precursor concentration and operating voltages on the fluid velocity was carefully evaluated. Moreover, the highly integration of injection, separation, and pumping units of the MCE system minimized the dead volume and provides satisfied column efficiency. Experiments showed that by adjusting of pumping voltage reduced the fluid velocity by a factor of 6, resulting six- and threefold resolving power enhancements of rhodamine dye mixture and amino acid mixture, respectively. Furthermore, the developed MCE method was applied for rhodamines and amino acids quantitation in food and cosmetics, with standard addition recoveries of 87.3–106.9% and 89.9–117.4%, respectively. We investigated the drain avalanche hot carrier effect (DAHC) of p-type metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistor of 0.14 μm channel length (PMOSFET) with SiON gate dielectric. Using three different stress conditions of substrate maximum current, the changes to threshold voltage, maximum transconductance, saturation current and channel leakage current was monitored. Concurrently, the lateral distribution of interface trap density (Nit) and bulk trapped charge density (Not) with stress time has been extracted along the 70 nm half channels from gate edge to drain junction, which is the first endeavor in describing charge traps along sub 100 nm short channels. The degradation of the PMOSFET was described by combining electrical property with Nit and Not profiles. Hot electron punch through (HEIP) effect was evidenced by negative Not distribution near the drain junction while more severe hot carrier degradation was successfully demonstrated by the empirical power law dependence of the electrical parameters Nit and Not. We have studied the evolution of degradation behavior along highly scaled tens of nanometer channel, and Nit and Not profile offers systematic study and interpretation of degradation mechanism of hot carrier effect in MOSFET devices. 相似文献

以激光二极管端面抽运固体激光器为研究对象,通过实验研究了离轴抽运条件下,离轴量的大小对Nd:YAG激光器的振荡光阈值、振荡模式、光束质量以及激光器的斜效率的影响,分析了在同一抽运位置改变LD电流时输出光位置及模式的变化情况.实验结果表明,当抽运光离轴量增大时,斜效率增大,但输出光依次出现从低阶模到高阶模的变化,激光器的振荡阈值升高,光束质量变差;在同一抽运位置增大LD电流时,输出光从高阶模向低阶模转化,光斑中心向此时的抽运中心轴靠拢. 相似文献

We present the experimental demonstration of a novel, efficient, and vibrational selective technique to prepare population in vibrational level v″ = 1 using the stimulated Raman pumping. Photoacoustic Raman signal has been studied in non-radiative transitions in the molecule H2 (v″ = 0) and (v″ = 1). We show that parametric amplification at low-frequency pumping can be implemented in aperiodic nonlinear photonic crystals.
In this process, the intensities of the waves with frequencies higher than the pumping frequency increase with increase in
the interaction length as in the case of the standard process of parametric amplification at high-frequency pumping. The process
under consideration includes a nondegenerate parametric down-conversion followed by two parametric up-conversions in the same
pumping wave. As a result, generation at four new frequencies arises. Quantum analysis of the process demonstrates the presence
of entanglement in the states of four modes.

Various transitions of a pressure tunable atomic fluorine laser have been observed over a rather wide spectral range, 634.8–755.2 nm, by exciting the atmospheric pressure of helium containing 0.2% F2 in a preionized Blumlein discharge device with a charging voltage of 10–15 kV. The intensity of two quartet transitions, 739.9 and 755.2 nm, increases with pressure, whereas that of the other quartet and doublet lines, 634.8, 641.4, 712.8 and 731.1 nm, decreases with increasing atmospheric fill-pressure. The pumping mechanisms at high pressures appear to be different from those at relatively low pressures. 相似文献

基于非线性光学耦合波方程组建立了聚焦泵浦条件下熔石英玻璃材料中SBS过程的物理模型并编制了相应的数值求解程序,研究了SBS介质内激光场的时空发展特征,从而试图揭示SBS介质的内在破坏机制并寻求相应的加固措施.通过数值模拟程序研究了焦点处激光功率密度以及SBS反射率与激光能量的依赖关系,发现SBS对介质内的激光场具有"限幅"作用,即在注入能量大幅度提升的情况下,内部的激光场强度只有较小的增加,这种机制使大能量的固体介质PCM成为可能.分析激光脉宽以及耦合透镜焦距等参数对SBS过程的影响发现,精细选择系统参数,在熔石英玻璃材料中有可能无损伤地实现高效的SBS过程. 相似文献
