Recent studies on phosphorus-bridging carbonyl derivatives: organophosphorus analogs of aldehydes and ketones

Reactions of disodium tetracarbonylferrate, Na₂Fe(CO)₄, with sterically hindered dialkylaminodichlorophosphines, R₂NPCl₂ (R₂N=diisopropylamino, dicyclohexylamino, and 2,2, 6, 6-tetramethylpiperidino) in diethyl ether lead to the air-stable phosphorus-bridging carbonyl derivatives (R₂NP)₂COFe₂(CO)₆ as the major products. The phosphorus-bridging carbonyl group in (i-Pr₂NP)₂COFe₂(CO)₆ has been found to undergo the following types of reactions: 1)Reduction, 2)Acylation, 3)Extrusion of the carbonyl group. Symmetric form of the Hudson-Parthasarathy stochastic equation

We prove that the Hudson-Parthasarathy equation corresponds, up to unitary equivalence, to the strong resolvent limit of Schrödinger Hamiltonians in Fock space and that the symmetric form of this equation corresponds to the weak limit of the Schrödinger Hamiltonians.Translated fromMatematicheskie Zametki, Vol. 60, No. 5, pp. 726–750, November, 1996.     

Cylindrical spike model for the formation of diamondlike thin films by ion deposition

T /n_S of n_T rearrangements and n_S atoms in the spike volume as the crucial parameter characterizing the ability of a given ion–target combination to achieve complete rearrangement of the spike volume. n_T/n_S>1 is the optimum condition for diamondlike film growth. For aC films the ion energy dependence of n_T/n_S agrees well with the measured sp³ bond fraction. For Ar⁺-ion-assisted deposition of aC we find n_T/n_S>1 above 50 eV with no pronounced ion energy dependence. Furthermore, our model predicts optimum conditions for the formation of cubic boron nitride between 50 eV and 3 keV. Accepted: 14 October 1997     

The measure of a translated ball in uniformly convex spaces

Let (E, ¦·¦) be a uniformly convex Banach space with the modulus of uniform convexity of power type. Let be the convolution of the distribution of a random series inE with independent one-dimensional components and an arbitrary probability measure onE. Under some assumptions about the components and the smoothness of the norm we show that there exists a constant such that |{·<t}–{·+r<t}|r ^q , whereq depends on the properties of the norm. We specify it in the case ofL spaces, >1.     

Automorphisms on a Lie group contracting modulo a compact subgroup and applications to semistable convolution semigroups

Let ( _t ) _t0 be a -semistable convolution semigroup of probability measures on a Lie groupG whose idempotent ₀ is the Haar measure on some compact subgroupK. Then all the measures ₁ are supported by theK-contraction groupC _K() of the topological automorphism ofG. We prove here the structure theoremC _K()=C()K, whereC() is the contraction group of . Then it turns out that it is sufficient to study semistable convolution semigroups on simply connected nilpotent Lie groups that have Lie algebras with a positive graduation.     

金属表面在反射方向产生光学二次谐波的研究(Ⅰ)

用Rudnick和Stern引入的唯象参数“a”和“b”来描述表面电流,本文推导了金属表面在反射方向产生的光学二次谐波的表达式.由此证明了:从谐波信号随入射光偏振态的变化可以直接得到关于参数“a”的信息.和过去的实验相比,这种方法能更加精确、可靠地测定“a”的数值.     

超高真空中银表面垂直谐波电流的实验测量

在超高真空的条件下,测量了清洁、自由银表面产生的光学二次谐波随基波电矢量与入射面之间夹角(?)的变化,从而通过理论公式,求得由Rudnick和Stern引入的,用于衡量垂直面电流密度的唯象参数a的值,在入射基频光波长为1.064μm时,被测定为-4.0±0.8.     

A Novel Green Preparation of a, a''''-Bis (substituted benzylidene)-cycloalkanones Promoted by FeCl_3 6H-2O in Ionic Liquid

a, a'-Bis(substituted benzylidene)cycloalkanones were efficiently prepared from cycloalkanones and benzaldehydes in [bmim][BF4] by using iron(III) chloride hexahydrate as a catalyst. It is shown that [bmim][BF4] and iron(III) chloride hexahydrate can be quantitatively recovered and be reused effectively for many times. Compared with the known methods, this novel process has the advantage of being an envkonmentally benign process together with good yields and mild reaction conditions.     

Synthesis and structure of novel derivatives of thieno[2,3-b]thiocine. An unusual product of intramolecular cycloaddition of 2-homomethallylthio-5-methyl-3-thiophenecarbonitrile oxide

9-Methyl-3,3a,4,5-tetrahydro-6H-thieno[2,3-b]thiocino[4,5-c]isoxazole and 9-hydroxyimino-2-methyl-7-methylene-6, 7,8,9-tetrahydro-5H-thieno[2,3-b]thiocine have been prepared for the first time by the oxidation of 2--alkenylthio-3-thiophenecarbaldoximes with NaOCl. X-ray structural investigations of thieno[2,3-b]thiocine and 2-homomethallylthio-5-methyl-3-thiophenecarbaldoxime have been carried out.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Structure-Activity Relationship of Insecticidal Steroids. III. Δ4,7-6-Ketosteroids

The toxicity of steroids 1-11 for colorado beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say.) larvae was studied by contact-intestinal treatment. Active insect-growth regulators were found among the studied compounds.
