ALMOST OPTIMAL LOCAL WELL-POSEDNESS OF THE MAXWELL-KLEIN-GORDON EQUATIONS IN 1 + 4 DIMENSIONS

Abstract

We study strong solutions of the Navier–Stokes equations for nonhomogeneous incompressible fluids in Ω ? R ³. Deriving higher a priori estimates independent of the lower bounds of the density, we prove the existence and uniqueness of local strong solutions to the initial value problem (for Ω =R ³) or the initial boundary value problem (for Ω ? ? R ³) even though the initial density vanishes in an open subset of Ω, i.e., an initial vacuum exists. As an immediate consequence of the a priori estimates, we obtain a continuation theorem for the local strong solutions.

两大部类扩大再生产的充分必要条件也就是马克思扩大再生产公式有解的充分必要条件.直到目前,由于还没有严谨地提出对于扩大再生产公式的一般求解方法,因而也没有严格地确定扩大再生产的充分必要条件.本文基于已经有研究获得的扩大再生产的一个必要条件,建立一种求解扩大再生产问题的一般方法,从而证明这个必要条件能够成为充分条件,由此确定它是充分必要条件.进而使用变量替换法,给出了通过直接求解两个部类的剩余价值积累率而求解扩大再生产问题的另一种方法.最后引用《资本论》中的两个实例,对所给出的两种求解扩大再生产问题的一般方法做了计算验证.     

超燃冲压发动机性能的准二维计算方法

为了能在双模态超燃冲压发动机流道方案初步论证中提供一种较快速的发动机性能计算方法,在二维N-S方程基础上,引入一维完全燃烧计算方法,提出了预估超燃冲压发动机性能的准二维计算方法。该方法能够计入激波、边界层分离等对发动机性能的影响,可在较短时间计算出整机推力、比冲性能和沿程热力学参数。通过对自由射流发动机计算,验证了此方法。并在此基础上,初步分析了燃料喷注位置和流道构型对发动机性能的影响。      

ADDITIVE POLYNOMIALS AND PRIMITIVE ROOTS OVER FINITE FIELDS

We prove existence of primitive roots with a prescribed non-zero image using the arithmetic of algebraic function fields for a class of polynomials over sufficiently large finite fields.     

Expansion of analytic functions in q-orthogonal polynomials

A classical result on the expansion of an analytic function in a series of Jacobi polynomials is extended to a class of q-orthogonal polynomials containing the fundamental Askey–Wilson polynomials and their special cases. The function to be expanded has to be analytic inside an ellipse in the complex plane with foci at ±1. Some examples of explicit expansions are discussed.      

Solution of the Dipoles in Noncommutative Space with Minimal Length *

The single neutral spin-half particle with electric dipole moment and magnetic dipole moment moving in an external electromagnetic field is studied. The Aharonov-Casher effect and He-McKellar-Wilkens effect are emphatically discussed in noncommutative (NC) space with minimal length. The energy eigenvalues of the systems are obtained exactly in terms of the Jacobi polynomials. Additionally, a special case is discussed and the related energy spectra are plotted.     

Generating orthogonal matrix polynomials satisfying second order differential equations from a trio of triangular matrices

The method developed in [A.J. Durán, F.A. Grünbaum, Orthogonal matrix polynomials satisfying second order differential equations, Int. Math. Res. Not. 10 (2004) 461–484] led us to consider matrix polynomials that are orthogonal with respect to weight matrices W(t) of the form , , and (1−t)^α(1+t)^βT(t)T^*(t), with T satisfying T^′=(2Bt+A)T, T(0)=I, T^′=(A+B/t)T, T(1)=I, and T^′(t)=(−A/(1−t)+B/(1+t))T, T(0)=I, respectively. Here A and B are in general two non-commuting matrices. We are interested in sequences of orthogonal polynomials (P_n)_n which also satisfy a second order differential equation with differential coefficients that are matrix polynomials F₂, F₁ and F₀ (independent of n) of degrees not bigger than 2, 1 and 0 respectively. To proceed further and find situations where these second order differential equations hold, we only dealt with the case when one of the matrices A or B vanishes.The purpose of this paper is to show a method which allows us to deal with the case when A, B and F₀ are simultaneously triangularizable (but without making any commutativity assumption).
