以乳化剂十二烷基硫酸钠 (SDS)和共乳化剂十六烷醇 (HD)作为复合乳化体系 ,过氧化二苯甲酰(BPO)和N ,N 二甲基苯胺 (DMA)作为氧化还原引发体系 ,甲基丙烯酸甲酯 丙烯酸丁酯 (MMA BA)作为混合单体 ,制备了分散相占 83 %以上的稳定的超浓乳液 ,然后在低温下引发聚合 .探讨了引发剂浓度、氧化剂与还原剂的摩尔比、乳化剂的浓度、液膜增强剂的种类、聚合温度等因素对聚合稳定性和聚合速率的影响 ,测定并计算得到了聚合速率的公式 ;用激光散射粒度分布仪测定了聚合物乳胶粒子的大小及粒径分布 ,用透射电子显微镜观察了聚合物乳胶粒的形态 ,讨论了乳化剂浓度、聚合温度等对乳胶粒形态、大小的影响  相似文献

The attempt to prepare structurally well-defined polymer/inorganic composite particles, i.e., poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/CaCO3/SiO2 three-component composite particles, via reverse atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), using 2-2′-azo-bis-isobutyronitrile as initiator and Cu(II) bromide as catalyst was reported. CaCO3/SiO2 two-component composite particles were first obtained through sol–gel method, and their morphology and surface element information were determined by transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, respectively. The results indicate that the CaCO3 was encapsulated by the obtained SiO2. After being modified by silane coupling agent, the CaCO3/SiO2 composite particles copolymerized with methyl methacrylate (MMA) under standard reverse ATRP conditions to produce PMMA/CaCO3/SiO2 three-component composite particles. In the case concerned, first-order kinetic plots and linear increase of molecular weight (Mn) vs conversion and narrow molecular weight distribution for the graft polymer samples were observed. Furthermore, the gel permeation chromatography results illustrated that both the free PMMA chains from the solvent and the graft PMMA chains from the surface of CaCO3/SiO2 two-component composite particles were growing at the same rate. Characterizations of the PMMA-grafted CaCO3/SiO2 composite particles were done by Fourier transform infrared and thermogravimetric analysis. The results showed that the surface of the modified inorganic particles was grafted by the MMA and that the grafting percentage was about 8.7%.  相似文献

Free‐radical copolymerization of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) with N‐vinylpyrrolidone (VPD) was carried out at 50 °C using 3.0 mol · L?1 of N,N′‐dimethylformamide solution and 9.0 · 10?3 mol · L?1 of 2,2′‐azobisisobutyronitrile as an initiator. The modification reaction of GMA‐VPD copolymers with a model bioactive carboxylic acid, 6‐methoxy‐α‐methyl‐2‐naphthaleneacetic acid (naproxen), was studied in the homogeneous phase using basic catalysts. The polymerization of n-butyl methacrylate was investigated using the Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization technique with CuBr and CuCl/N,N,N‘,N“,N“-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine catalytic systems. Various combinations of catalyst systems and initiators were utilized in order to optimize the polymerization conditions and to obtain well-defined polymers (i.e. controlled molecular weights and low polydispersities). It has been found that the optimal initiator for this system is a chlorine-based initiator, when the catalyst used is a Cu(I) salt in conjunction with the N,N,N‘,N“,N“-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine ligand. Bromine-based initiators tend to result in large amounts of initial termination, leading to polymers with less than ideal chain end functionality, even if CuCI is used as the Cu(I) species to invoke the halogen exchange. Additionally, the effects of the polymerization temperature, copper(I) species and the initiator structure were determined.  相似文献

Two methacrylate‐modified clays have been prepared and used to produce nanocomposites of polystyrene and poly(methyl methacrylate) by in situ polymerization. These nanocomposites have been characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), cone calorimetry and the evaluation of mechanical properties. When the clay contains only a single methacrylate unit, the styrene system is exfoliated but methacrylate is intercalated. When two methacrylate units are present on the cation of the clay, both systems are exfoliated. TGA data show that the thermal stability of all the nanocomposites is improved, as expected. The relationships between the fire properties and nanostructure of the nanocomposites are complicated, as shown by cone calorimetry. The conclusions that one may reach using cone calorimetry do not completely agree with those from XRD and TEM. The evaluation of mechanical properties shows an increase in Young's modulus for all nanocomposites along with a decrease in elongation; tensile strength is decreased for methacrylate nanocomposites but increased for styrenics systems. 合成了α-甲基丙烯酸烯丙酯(AMA),并对其自由基、阴离子聚合进行了探讨。结果发现,该单体难以进行选择性自由基聚合,但可用作多种单体自由基聚合的交联剂。用1,1′-二苯基己基锂在THF中引发AMA,可顺利地进行α位双键的选择性阴离子聚合,分子量实测值与计算值基本一致。在较低温度下(≤-60℃),可得窄分布PAMA(Mw/Mn=1.12~1.15)。随聚合温度升高,间同和无规聚合物含量分别呈下降和上升趋势。GPC、1HNMR及FTIR鉴定表明,用阴离子聚合法可得到溶于多种溶剂、每个重复单元上均定量带有烯丙基双键的窄分布官能性PAMA。  相似文献

Oxidation of ferrous orthophenanthroline (FeP) by peroxydiphosphate (PP) in aqueous medium at pH 1 was followed spectrophotometrically. Kinetic analysis has shown that oxidation occurs via the formation of an intermediate complex between FeP and PP. Equi-librium and rate constants were calculated. Influence of surfactants on the oxidation of FeP by PP was also Investigated. The equilibrium constant for complex formation was found to be higher in the presence of surfactants. The enhanced complex formation has been attributed to the ionic interactions between the charged surfactant and the ionic species in the reaction medium. Polymerization of HEMA initiated by the redox system,FeP/PP, was carried out in aqueous medium, under the conditions of excess reductant over oxidant and excess oxidant over reductant. The polymerization followed different mech-anisms under these conditions; with excess oxidant, the growing polymer radicals underwent oxidative termination, while with excess reductant, primary radical termination was pre-ferred. The effect of surfactants on the aqueous polymerization of HEMA using the redox system FeP/PP was also investigated. In addition to the decrease in rate, the polymerization followed a different mechanism in the presence of surfactants, the growing radicals ter-minated by mutual interaction. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Copolymers of 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinyl methacrylate (TPMA) with styrene (S) and with methyl methacrylate (MMA) were synthesized using AIBN as initiator. S–TPMA copolymers from feed ranging from 0.10–0.80 mole fractions TPMA and MMA-TPMA copolymers from feed of 0.04–0.85 mole fractions TPMA were used in the determination of monomer reactivity ratios r1, r2. Four different methods were employed in the calculations of r1 and r2 and all calculated results were in good agreement with each other. The structure of S–TPMA copolymers was inferred to be of an alternating nature while that of MMA–TPMA copolymers was random. Both copolymers are potential hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS) and are expected to be less extractable from, and more compatible with, polystyrene and poly(methyl methacrylate) base polymers.  相似文献

In this study, a new affinity high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) stationary phase suitable for protein separation was synthesized. In the first stage of the synthesis, uniform porous poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-ethylene dimethacrylate), poly(HEMA-co-EDM), beads 6.2 μm in size were obtained. Homogeneous distribution of hydroxyl groups in the bead interior was confirmed by confocal laser scanning microscopy. The plain poly(HEMA-co-EDM) particles gave very low non-specific protein adsorption with albumin. The selected dye ligand Cibacron blue F3G-A (CB F3G-A) was covalently linked onto the beads via hydroxyl groups. In the batch experiments, albumin adsorption up to 60 mg BSA/g particles was obtained with the CB F3G-A carrying poly(HEMA-co-EDM) beads. The affinity-HPLC of selected proteins (albumin and lysozyme) was investigated in a 25 mm×4.0-mm inner diameter column packed with CB F3G-A carrying beads and both proteins were successfully resolved. By a single injection, 200 μg of protein was loaded and quantitatively eluted from the column. The protein recovery increased with increasing flow rate and salt concentration of the elution buffer and decreased with the increasing protein feed concentration. During the albumin elution, theoretical plate numbers up to 30,000 plates/m were achieved by increasing the salt concentration.  相似文献

The absorption spectrum of neodymium (III) (Nd3+ doped in poly(methyl methacrylate) was measured. The Nephlauxetic effect was found in the spectrum compared to other spectra of Nd3+ doped in various matrices. The experimental data used, Slater-Condon parameters (F2,F4,F6) and Lander parameter (ζ4f) were calculated by the Taylor series expansion based on the assumption that the energy separation between J-levels of the 4fn-configuration is a function of F2,F4,F6 and ζ4f. The Judd-Ofled intensity parameters (Ω246) were also calculated. Analysis of the Nephlauxetic effect and the parameters variation on the host matrices was carried out.  相似文献
