Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) have become a hot issue in the area of wireless networks for their non-infrastructure and mobile features. In this paper, a MANET is modeled so that the length of each link in the network is considered as a birth-death process and the space is reused for n times in the flooding process, which is named as an n-spatial reuse birth-death model (n-SRBDM). We analyze the performance of the network under the dynamic source routing protocol (DSR) which is a famous reactive routing protocol. Some performance parameters of the route discovery are studied such as the probability distribution and the expectation of the flooding distance, the probability that a route is discovered by a query packet with a hop limit, the probability that a request packet finds a r-time-valid route or a symmetric-valid route, and the average time needed to discover a valid route. For the route maintenance, some parameters are introduced and studied such as the average frequency of route recovery and the average time of a route to be valid. We compare the two models with spatial reuse and without spatial reuse by evaluating these parameters. It is shown that the spatial reuse model is much more effective in routing.  相似文献

Tangential phase-matching has been realised in cesium lithium borate (CLBO) crystal for the first time for the generation of fourth harmonic (266 nm) of Nd:YAG and third harmonic (226.7 nm) of a dye laser radiation by second harmonic generation and sum-frequency mixing with the angular tolerance as large as 22 mrad and 21 mrad respectively, over one of the interacting beams. An energy conversion efficiency of 15% for fourth harmonic generation is obtained with a 5.5 mm thick crystal and with the average pump powers only 170 and 70 mW. A set of Sellmeier dispersion equations for the CLBO crystal have also been formulated.  相似文献

We study the application of Optimal Control Theory to Ion Cyclotron Resonance. We test the validity and the efficiency of this approach for the robust excitation of an ensemble of ions with a wide range of cyclotron frequencies. Optimal analytical solutions are derived in the case without any pulse constraint. A gradient-based numerical optimization algorithm is proposed to take into account limitation in the control intensity. The efficiency of optimal pulses is investigated as a function of control time, maximum amplitude and range of excited frequencies. A comparison with adiabatic and SWIFT pulses is done. On the basis of recent results in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, this study highlights the potential usefulness of optimal control in Ion Cyclotron Resonance.  相似文献

The radiation dose delivered by the 90Sr beta source of a TL-OSL reader and the one delivered by a 137Cs gamma source were compared using OSL dating techniques and tools. Three sets of quartz of different origins (rock, sediment and loess) were studied and measured by the SAR protocol (Single aliquot regenerative dose protocol) after irradiations carried out either by the 90Sr source or by a 137Cs source. Measurements show that the values obtained by the SAR protocol must be corrected in order to provide an acceptable cross-calibration of the beta and gamma source. Once applied, measurement sets become self-consistent and compatible with expected values. The consequences of the above mentioned observations on the methodology of OSL dating are discussed and suggest that a mixed protocol be used including both the SAR protocol and an added dose techniques close to the SARA protocol (Single aliquot regenerative and added dose protocol).  相似文献

We have developed simple, short time, cost effective, purification of products by non-chromatographic methods and environmentally benign protocol for the synthesis of guanidinyltetrazoles and 5-substituted 1H-tetrazoles derivatives via [2,3]cyclo-addition reaction of nitriles and azide derivatives in water under microwave irradiation. All the synthesized products are screened for their in vitro antimicrobial activity. The synthesized compounds were obtained in excellent yield (85–98%).  相似文献

We have investigated different strategies for chain teleportation of a d-level quantum state (qudit-state) with the non-maximally entangled channels. The total success probabilities of chain teleportation protocols, the separate chain teleportation protocol (SCTP) and the global chain teleportation protocol (GCTP) are calculated. In the SCTP the errors are corrected between every step while in the GCTP the errors are corrected only at the end. The result shows that the GCTP is more efficient than the SCTP. Nevertheless, the error-correction of the GCTP will become more complicated with the increase of the node number. For keeping away from this inconvenience of the GCTP, we have presented an eclectic strategy, the piecewise chain teleportation protocol (PCTP) to balance the efficiency and maneuverability of chain teleportation.  相似文献

Two new kinds of alanine‐substituted calix[4]arene stationary phases of 5,11,17,23‐p‐tert‐butyl‐25,27‐bis(l ‐alanine‐methylester‐N‐carbonyl‐methoxy)‐26,28‐dihyroxycalix[4]arene‐bonded silica gel stationary phase (BABS4) and 5, 11, 17, 23‐p‐tert‐butyl‐25,26,27,28‐tetra(l ‐alanine‐methylester‐N‐carbonyl‐methoxy)‐calix[4]arene‐bonded silica gel stationary phase (TABS4) were prepared and characterized in the present study. They were compared with each other and investigated in terms of their chromatographic performance by using polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, disubstituted benzene isomers, and mono‐substituted benzenes as solute probes. The results indicated that both BABS4 and TABS4 exhibited multiple interactions with analytes. In addition, the commonly used Tanaka characterization protocol for the evaluation of commercially available stationary phases was applied to evaluate the properties of these two new functionalized calixarene stationary phases. The Tanaka test results were compared with Zorbax Eclipse XDB C18 and Kromasil phenyl columns, respectively. BABS4 has stronger hydrogen‐bonding capacity and ion‐exchange capacity than TABS4, and features weaker hydrophobicity and hydrophobic selectivity. Both of them behave similarly in stereoselectivity. Both BABS4 and TABS4 are weaker than C18 and phenyl stationary phases in hydrophobicity and hydrophobic selectivity.  相似文献

We consider a discrete closed-loop conveyor system consisting of a loading station, an unloading station, and a number of carriers which move with constant speed along a closed track. At the loading station units arrive in batches while the arrival of batches is governed by a Poisson process. The units queue at the loading station and await there the arrival of an empty carrier. Each unit requires some amount of service which is provided while the unit is on a carrier. After completion of service a unit leaves the system as soon as it reaches the unloading station. Our interest focuses on the steady-state queue length at the loading station. We obtain explicit results for the case where units leave their carriers on passing the unloading station for the second time. We were motivated to study this case by a slotted ring protocol for local area networks.  相似文献
