Thermal Degradation of Polychloroprene Rubber Under Isothermal and Non-Isothermal Conditions

The results of a kinetic investigation of the non-isothermal degradation and the isothermal degradation of the residual deformation under constant deflection for polychloroprene rubber are presented. A relationship was derived between the degree of non-isothermal conversion and the value of the investigated mechanical property. Synthesis of Naturally Occurring Pyrazine and Imidazole Alkaloids from Botryllus LeachiRID=”a”ID=”a”?Dedicated to Prof. G. M?rkl on the occasion of his 75th birthday

The synthesis of the naturally occurring and biologically active alkaloids 1 and 2, first isolated from the red ascidian Botryllus leachi by Duran et al. [1], is described and the structure proposed for Botryllazine B (1) is confirmed. The analytical data for 2-(p-hydroxybenzoyl)-4-(p-hydroxyphenyl)imidazole (2) are discussed and compared with the literature. With special emphasis of ¹H NMR data the tautomerism of aroylimidazolemethanones is described.     

Mono- and Dioses of Glycyrrhiza glabra Root

Simple sugars were isolated from the ethanol extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra L. root. The component composition of the carbohydrate fraction was established using GC-MS (gas-chromatographic separation and mass-spectrometric analysis).     

TS和PTS单晶体的热刺激电流

测定了双(对甲基磺酸)2,4-己二炔-1,6-二醇酯(TS)及其不同聚合程度TS-PTS混合体和完全聚合的聚合物PTS在100-300K温度范围内的热刺激电流。在沿分子堆砌方向上(对PTS则是大分子链方向)上观察到了它们的热刺激电流,并在相应于它们相变152K和192K处呈现热刺激电流峰。研究了聚合程度对相变的影响,绘制了TS-PTS体系的相图。对另三个热刺激电流峰的归属作了定性解释。     

A recycling technique for the chromatographic separation of enantiomers and diastereomers on triacetylcellulose

A simple and inexpensive equipment for the optical resolution of enantiomers (and separation of diastereomers) on triacetylcellulose in ethanol at elevated pressure is described. It involves a closed circuit of solvent (pump—column—detector—pump) allowing a continuous chromatography up to 16 cycles without stopping the flow or handling fractions.This useful and versatile method permitting also the determination of enantiomeric purities is illustrated by several examples of centro-, axial- and planarchiral arenes and metallocenes.Herrn Prof. Dr.U. Thermodynamics of Dipeptides in Water. Influence of the hydrophobic forces of the side-chains on the dissociation processes for some series of dipeptides

A calorimetric study has been carried out on the dissociation processes in water of both the free α-amino group belonging to the amino terminal residue and the free α-carboxyl groups belonging to the carboxyl terminal residue for a series having phenylalanine as the first common term. These thermodynamic quantities have been compared with those of the proton dissociation processes related to the same groups of the corresponding singleα-amino acids. The dissociation process values of this series have also been considered in connection with those obtained from others series of dipeptides previously studied, in an effort to compare the alkyl groups and benzene ring hydrophobic effects on the salvation processes of the zwitterions, undissociated molecules and ionic forms. 110K铋基超导相形成的组成条件

Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O超导材料中存在110K和80K2个超导相。其组成是Bi_2Sr_2Ca_2Cu_3O_y和Bi_2Sr_2CaCu_2O。但迄今为止,在按2223组成比合成的未掺杂Bi系超导材料中从未得到过纯的110K相,也未见过组成为2223,零电阻温度在100K以上材料的报道。为了探索形成110K相的最佳条件,本文以2223组成比为参考,合成了5个系列材料:Bi_xSr_2Ca_2Cu_3O_y,Bi_2Sr_xCa_2Cu_3O_y,Bi_2Sr_2Ca_xCu_3O_y,Bi_2Sr_2Ca_2Cu_xO_y,Bi_i Sr_uCa_yCu_wO_s。

The solid phase synthesis of 4H-pyrimido[2,1-6] benzothizaol-4-ones has been reported.     

The Birch reduction-dialkylation reaction. Scope and limitations

The Birch reduction-dialkylation reaction has been studied with different aromatic carboxylic acids and primary and secondary bromides. From these results it can be concluded that it is a reasonably general reaction. However, we found important exceptions with the primary bromides: allyl bromide, β-phenethyl bromide, and 5-bromo-2-methyl-2-pentene. The unusual behavior of allyl bromide is briefly discussed.     

Unraveling the mystery of efficacy in Chinese medicine formula: New approaches and technologies for research on pharmacodynamic substances

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is the key to unlock treasures of Chinese civilization. TCM and its compound play a beneficial role in medical activities to cure diseases, especially in major public health events such as novel coronavirus epidemics across the globe. The chemical composition in Chinese medicine formula is complex and diverse, but their effective substances resemble “mystery boxes”. Revealing their active ingredients and their mechanisms of action has become focal point and difficulty of research for herbalists. Although the existing research methods are numerous and constantly updated iteratively, there is remain a lack of prospective reviews. Hence, this paper provides a comprehensive account of existing new approaches and technologies based on previous studies with an in vitro to in vivo perspective. In addition, the bottlenecks of studies on Chinese medicine formula effective substances are also revealed. Especially, we look ahead to new perspectives, technologies and applications for its future development. This work reviews based on new perspectives to open horizons for the future research. Consequently, herbal compounding pharmaceutical substances study should carry on the essence of TCM while pursuing innovations in the field.
