In this paper, we have adopted the hybrid method, which combines experimental and numerical methods, to investigate the dynamic
behavior of perforated plates. It was found that the modal assurance criterion is a useful criterion to judge the degree of
similarity between experimental and numerical models. The difference between the experimental and numerical models can be
reduced via sensitivity testing and by checking the correlation coefficient. The equivalent material properties of the perforated
plates were also obtained by the hybrid method. In addition, the curve-fitting technique was utilized to find the relationship
of the mass remnant ratio with the parameter ratio. The functions obtained from the curve fitting can be used to predict accurately

We consider the homogenization of an elliptic spectral problem with a large potential stated in a thin cylinder with a locally periodic perforation. The size of the perforation gradually varies from point to point. We impose homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions on the boundary of perforation and on the lateral boundary of the cylinder. The presence of a large parameter 1/ε in front of the potential and the dependence of the perforation on the slow variable give rise to the effect of localization of the eigenfunctions. We show that the jth eigenfunction can be approximated by a scaled exponentially decaying function that is constructed in terms of the jth eigenfunction of a one-dimensional harmonic oscillator operator. 相似文献

This article reports an experimental study on copper–water nanofluid flow inside plain and perforated channels. The effects of flow rate and nanoparticle concentration on the heat transfer and pressure drop are studied. It is found that the perforated channel has a remarkable heat transfer enhancement of 24.6%. Furthermore, by using the copper–water nanofluid instead of the base fluid, the heat transfer coefficient as well as pressure drop are increased for both plain and perforated channels. A noticeable thermal performance factor of 1.34 is obtained for the simultaneous utilization of both the heat transfer enhancement techniques considered in this article. 相似文献

In this paper we consider boundary value problems in perforated domains with periodic structures and cavities of different scales, with the Neumann condition on some of them and mixed boundary conditions on others. We take a case when cavities with mixed boundary conditions have so called critical size (see [1]) and cavities with the Neumann conditions have the scale of the cell. Many results in Combinatorial Integral Geometry are derived by integration of the combinatorial decompositions associated with finite point sets {P i } given in the plane ?2. However, most previous cases of integration of the decompositions in question were carried out for the point sets {P i } containing no triads of collinear points, where the familiar algorithm sometimes called the “Four indicator formula” can be used. The present paper is to demonstrate that the complete combinatorial algorithm valid for sets {P i } not subject to the mentioned restriction opens the path to various results, including the field of Stochastic Geometry. In the paper the complete algorithm is applied first in an integration procedure in a study of the perforated convex domains, i.e convex domains containing a finite array of non-overlapping convex holes. The second application is in the study of random colorings of the plane that are Euclidean motions invariant in distribution, basing on the theory of random polygonal windows from the so-called Independent Angles (IA) class. The method is a direct averaging of the complete combinatorial decompositions written for colorings observed in polygonal windows from the IA class. The approach seems to be quite general, but promises to be especially effective for the random coloring generated by random Poisson polygon process governed by the Haar measure on the group of Euclidean motions of the plane, assuming that a point P ∈ ?2 is colored J if P is covered by exactly J polygons of the Poisson process. A general theorem clearing the way for Laplace transform treatment of the random colorings induced on line segments is formulated. 相似文献
